I've lived in Landover my whole life. I move up here when I was 4 years older. Starting school in my neighborhood elementary school to graduating from my neighborhood high school. The community is very diverse and welcoming . Never have I once not felt safe in school and in my community .

I had a great time in Landover as a young kid who would always go the the local parks and make new friends. The people here are very kind heated people who make sure to look after other individuals in the neighborhood. There are also a lot of shopping centers located in Landover which make it extremely easy to go work a quick walk and grab some groceries or pieces of clothing.

In comparison to the days when I was younger, Landover has become a lot more culturally diverse in the last few years. There are grocery stores in walking or Metro accessible distance, various opportunities for food and school, and I appreciate the peace I've been afforded in my neighborhood. Regardless of anyone else's opinion, Landover is not nearly as violent a neighborhood as it used to be and I am so grateful for being able to live here as long as I have.

Landover is a pretty good place to live. Considering it's proximity to Washington D.C. and it's relative cost of living compared to other towns in the Washington Metropolitan area,I would recommend it to new transplants.
