Edgewood is a small city and suburb of Cincinnati. Edgewood is an award-winning community and has even been voted the best city in Kentucky and the nation in 2019. Apart from a few medical offices, several businesses, and a few K-12 schools, Edgewood is predominately residential. However, residents have easy access to a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options in Crestview Hills and Erlanger, which both border Edgewood. What Edgewood lacks in amenities, they make up for in an abundance of community events like fish frys and outdoor movie screenings in the park. The town is also great for commuters looking for affordable apartments since Cincinnati is only 20 minutes away. When you need to travel out of town, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is only a 10-minute drive away.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
