Van Ness is a great building, with an amazing concierge staff in one of the best locations in Boston. The best apartment building in the city of Boston.
Love living here at Van Ness. I'm an older professional and appreciate the calm and high quality support here. The location is terrific -- I can walk to work and the nearby stores and restaurants are the best.
Moving in to the Van Ness was the best decision I made since coming to Boston. The apartment is in perfect condition with new appliances and the service is outstanding. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

It was super easy to ask for maintenance to come look at and fix the problem in my apartment. They came the same day and was able to address the issue in a quick and professional manner
I'm new to Boston and moving in the the Van Ness building was the best choice I made. The building from the inside is superb and the apartments are very modern and stylish. Overall Pretty good apartment. Helpful stuffs, great amenities, and convience location. If you are looking for a high-end apartment, the Van Ness will be a good choice.

The Van Ness is a luxury building with modern finishes in the growing Fenway neighborhood. The 24-hour concierge is great and the management team is responsive. That said, there are some issues that should be shared with potential renters. First, the Van Ness offers many units as short-term furnished rentals through Churchill Living. This means that there are constantly new people coming in and out of the building. This was not mentioned when I was signing my lease and I wish that the management company would disclose their partnership with Churchill Living to potential residents. In addition, there has been an increase in disrespectful behavior in the building in recent months. This includes improper trash disposal, smoking in the units, and loud parties at 3 and 4 a.m. During this time, I have also noticed more college-aged people in and around the building. While I understand that there will always be issues with communal living, I have higher expectations for residents who pay what I pay each month in rent. I had hoped that residents would treat their neighbors and the building with respect, but this does not seem to be the case at the Van Ness.
