Leeward Apartments

The worst move-in experience ever! Extremely rude manager. I wish I could give a 0 star. Move-in Issues: Key Denial: I was assured, in writing via an official community email, that I would receive my apartment keys through a pending parcel to accommodate my early morning move-in. However, on the moving day, the building manager denied providing the keys, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss. Promotional Offer: Despite touring the apartment twice and booking it within 48 hours of my second tour, I am being denied the promised promotional offer for 2 weeks. The leasing agent had committed to honoring this offer, but broke this agreement after moving-in. Exorbitant Camera Charge: I reported a dislodged camera during my move-in, and while I was willing to cover the repair costs, the billed amount of $1,425.80 seems unjustifiable. After receiving the invoice, I observed that the camera cost is $455, while the installation cost is an exorbitant $840. Service Issues: Delayed Bathtub Repair: The bathtub was clogged on day one, and despite multiple escalations, it took 10 days for the issue to be addressed. No compensation was offered for the prolonged inconvenience. Dishwasher Drainage: Within a week of moving in, the dishwasher stopped draining water, causing a foul odor and making it unbearable to reside in the unit. It has been six days since I reported the issue, yet no action has been taken. Managerial Concerns: Manager's Conduct: The property manager's behavior has been extremely disappointing. Her rudeness, dismissive attitude, and lack of concern for residents' problems have created an unwelcoming atmosphere. It is crucial to address this managerial issue promptly for the well-being of all residents.

The management team at Leeward went above and beyond to help me during my apartment search and all aspects of my application and move in. They were much more service oriented than most other apartment complexes in the area. The Leeward is what every complex should strive to be.

Leeward is a beautiful property which is conveniently located in the South Lake Area, with very well kept amenities and friendly staff

The amenities are nice but feel like they are for show because the sound systems and TV/Cable situation and grills and firepit hardly ever work.

The location is prime and the buildings are nicely layout.

Leeward is a great building in SLU. Well kept with great amenities. Leasing staff is top notch.

I had an excellent time living at the Leeward. The staff was wonderful to work with and incredibly accommodating. The apartments are clean, and have a great layout. The best amenity is the rooftop which provides an excellent view of Lake Union and Eastlake.

Leeward is a pretty lovely community with great looking apartments, new and effective appliances and a super warm and friendly staff. The leasing agents always take the time to chat you up at the entrance, which brightens up my day. The view from rooftop is just sweet and honestly it was one of the main reasons I moved in. There's also a fireplace on the rooftop while is awesome.

Living at Leeward has been really great. They have great amenities, a fantastic location, and amazing staff. It's probably the best apartment buildings on Dexter. In the rare occurrence that we've had issues, leeward and their maintenance staff have corrected any issues we've had promptly.

It's great! The location is sweet and the view of the lake from the roof is unbeatable. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are basically soundproof!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The safety of the building, the staff, and amenities are what keep me here. I never want to move as long as the current staff is here.

Not a bad place but they charge higher rates. Wouldnt recommend as a first pick unless they have a good deal.

After I visited upwards of 12 different building when I moved to Seattle from out of town, Leeward far exceeded the rest. The amenities offered are new and very well maintained. The view from the roof is quiet possible the best in the city, and the community is filled with warm and welcoming people. There are always social events to help meet your neighbors and the front desk truly makes the apartment building feel like home.

Great location if you work in SLU, friendly accomodating staff, and fun building-wide events every month. I highly recommend Leeward

This is a beautiful new building in a great location, but I am most impressed with the onsite property management. Excellent front office staff is courteous, professional and always available to help. Fast and productive maintenance crew keep everything in tip top shape.

From my time in communicating with leasing professionals on moving-in to actual move-in, their responsiveness was great and polite. The community amenities are amazing and I really like the apartment we have chosen as well. The complex is in a great location with access to many bus routes (although the buses are unreliable during the winter), and restaurants nearby. I haven't had any issues so far and as of now, I'd recommend this place to my friends. I cannot wait to having guests over to enjoy some of these amenities with once we're settled in.

The office staff is wonderful! Always helpful and friendly. The building is clean and comfortable to live in.

The garage of Leeward is HIGHLY UNSAFE! My car has been broken twice during the past two weeks, I reported that to the leasing office but the leasing office did not take any action to prevent that from happening except sending notice that all residents that parked should not put anything in their cars. I'm sure that I'm neither the first one nor the only one whose car has been broken in recently. Leewards still only has their cameras covered around the entrance to garage. I was trying to negotiate with the leasing office staff but did not get any solution at all. I REALLY WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STAR!!!

Excellent choice! Definitely the new fashion in Seattle, Leeward caught us with a nice floor plan, convenient location and excellent amenities. Rent is on the average of the segment, but quality and finished are way above.

Excellent facilities, leasing staff, and apartments. Moving in was stress-free, and love showing off the common spaces to friends!
