Lakewood Apartments

I visited lakewood apartments in Tomball on last Friday and I fell in love with the area and the ambiance. The property managers were more than I expected. Their personal persona was so captivating that I'm persuaded to lease 1 of the apartments

I have lived in this apartment for years and its really great place to live. Tina and Catherine are awesome and very helpful.

I personally liked the recent renovations that the complex has made. Very spacious! The light fixtures were beautiful and the deep sink was great. Catherine was also a huge help during the process!

Very accommodating and friendly staff Catherine and Tina were awesome.

I first met Tina, she was sweet and awesome. Then I spoke to Katherine and she was equally sweet before I even met her face-to-face. This place seems like a place they do value and maintain good relationships with their tenants. My first apt hunt and from the experience it might be my last hunt as well! ;) Thank you!!!

Tina was very helpful in my search for an apartment. I am looking to relocate from Clearlake and know nothing about the Tomball area but Tina was very knowledgeable and helpful and made my entire experience worth it.

I just moved into town and was looking for a good place to live. Catherine helped me navigate the website and discussed the particulars of the lease. She was friendly and helpful in the process.

As a first time renter I had a lot of worries about finding somewhere to rent. I toured an apartment with Tina and I was really blown away by her sunny personality and her knowledge of the grounds. She did an excellent job explaining all of the costs involved with renting and I really enjoyed my tour with her. Lakewood itself is very upfront with pricing and the area is nice and quiet.

The service is great along with the neighborhood. Called to see if rooms are able available. Tina did a excellent job at telling me what the availability is and helped me book in advanced. I had no issue they broke down everything for me, and had walked me through since its my first time renting.

Lakewood has been really helpful in the application process. They have been timely and kind in every way. Would definitely recommend them to anyone else!

When I first walked in I didn’t know what I was in for. I came through the door and the people at the front desk welcomed me with open arms and made me feel excited to see what they had in stored for me...now here I am moving in.

Make sure you have evidence of the conditions the apartment on the day of moving have a staff walk with you to the apartment when you give the key. The administration likes to stay with the secure deposit inflating prices of “repairs”. In addition, the staff only have education when it suits them (except Tina she a sweet person).

The leasing agents that work there have been so friendly and accommodating, answering all of my questions and helping me out as a first time renter. I’m looking forward to moving in here.

The management team at Lakewood has been nothing but absolutely acoomodating and professional simce I stepped foot in the door and asked to view one of the units. They made sure to genuinely address all of my concerns, and anytime I called to ask a question, it was answered immediately. Really made me feel like I was part of their community, not just another renter. The units themselves are super nice with a modern touch and plenty of space. The car care center is a nice bonus on those sunny summer days. Lots of stuff for your kids to do, too! The location is super convenient (The Vintage Shopping centerclose by) and theres a Target no further than a 2 minute drive. With the easy access to 249, you can be in Downtown Houston in thirty minutes! Lile I said, dont thimk about it, just do it!

If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. My roommates bathroom vent started leaking and it took maintenance over a month to "fix" it. Once they did, they cut a huge hole into the ceiling and duct taped cardboard box over it for a few days. After this our AC broke and they could not be bothered to fix it for an entire three day weekend. My apartment was 98 degrees in the middle of the summer. They patched up the hole in the ceiling after this and "fixed" the AC- but it would not go below 73 at all anymore. Not long after this, the vent began to leak again and we were basically told to deal with it because they weren't going to fix it until after we moved out. In addition to this, the whole apartment complex has roaches. I know it was not just us or that we were "dirty" because I keep a pretty clean place. I know someone who lived in a separate building and had the same roach infestation. We had to spray poison ourselves just to keep the problem manageable. There were tons of other, smaller issues that aren't as big of a deal.. but still should not have been an issue in the first place. My biggest problem is that after all of this, they have the audacity to charge $500 of fees after moving out for clean-up and paint. My roommate and I both go to school full time, I work full time AND babysit on the side and my roommate works part time. We were not even home half of the time. There was no damage or any type of issues that required anywhere near $500 worth of fees. I tried calling the property manager TWICE and have not been able to get through- she did send me emails with pictures of the apartment and copies of invoices (the invoices do not add up to the amount they are charging) and has yet to reply to the following TWO emails I have sent her. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

This complex is in an awesome location in Tomball (close to everything). Just keep in mind its an older complex, other than that it seems like a nice place to live.

With a price as wonderful as the company I can't help but be thankful I managed to procure a room in time. The staff is accommodating and courteous, and are very good at working with you to make sure you find your way to this new home. With well kept grounds and a pool to boot it's one heck of a catch. I'm real happy I found my way here.

After 2 long and extremely frustrating days of apartment hunting with my 2 small children I found this quiet complex and immediately felt safe. Miss Tina was welcoming and I greatly appreciate her patience and kindness towards me and my children. The property itself is well maintained and has a comfortable homey feel. The residents were friendly and respectful. Lakewood Apartments feel like home.

Great atmosphere and ambient! Manager and maintance is always helpful and quick to fix things strongly recommend them!

A fantastic community were the staff treats you like family. They have an awesome service team that maintain the apartment grounds outstanding. Close to anything you may need and easy access to the Houston metro system!

Great family atmosphere. Many new families starting out. Yes the apartments are not extremely new, but the great friendly neighbors make up for the lack of updated fixtures. Rent is very afordable compared to the sq. footage. Love the roommate plan. Even if something wears out in the apt. They are very diligent to ensure it is fixed in a timely manner. Last critique, parking can be annoying if you don't have the parking permit.

The apartment was well kept, and clean when we moved in. The pool and workout center are also nice. So far there's been no problems what so ever, and the community as a whole is peaceful.

My apt. # 1803 Is a 1bed, 1bath, it's Nice & Clean . I live here with my son & looking for a 2 bedroom, so he can have his own room. Hard working father living a great life with my son. Been using Apartment.com to help look for a 2 bedroom, very useful & easy. Already submitted 1 applications, but still looking @ all my options. Thank You Mark..

I called and talked to someone over the phone. She explained everything to me and said it goes by your credit score. When I went there to look the apartment was nice but the stairs and front part looked worn and falling apart. I was thinking about filling out an application but was told then that if there is a broken lease on your credit you will be denied right away no matter what your credit score is. That wasn't what I was told the day before.

When I went to view the apartments to see if I wanted to rent there, I noticed that it was very well maintained. The apartment I viewed was very nice. I also had a friend of a friend who lived there and allowed me to see their apartment as well, she had lived there two years, her apartment was maintained nice. The complex was bigger than I expected. As it was a weekend I expected a lot of noise but that was not the fact. If they had a vacancy of the one I wanted I would have rented here.

MY MOM IS SUPER HAPPY HERE FOR THE PAST 2 YRS. None to little noise clean and comfortable! maintenance is always polite and super clean!
