Property Ratings at La Serena at the Heights
They get you in with a low rate then they raise it up very high! Appliances are old and don’t work. New water rates divided by the whole building is crazy. Don’t move here if you like fair housing! Glad to get out.
Haven't been living here very long and so many issues even before it started... the person I was working with kept saying okay you're good to move in, then just kidding we may need to push it back... A very unsettling feeling when you're looking for a place to stay urgently. Depending on the day, the leasing office team members are rude. Be sure that you get to work with Amber. She's the best out of any of them there. The apartment itself is good. You have some creepy tenants in other apartments that follow you around... Leasing office is inconsistent and their portal is not very user friendly and feels like it was made in the early 2000s. Needs an update. My "upgraded" apartment is not very upgraded to current times. These upgrades are those that you would've saw about 10 years ago. The cabinets in the hallway just covered previously made shelving and the shelving is extremely disproportional.. Outlets are all set up different ways. Made this purchase because I needed to move in quickly, but you definitely get what you pay for- mediocrioty at best.
We moved in 3 months ago and its been nothing less than a disaster. Maintenence will come in with no warning, there air conditioning will break for months on end and they will do NOTHING. The apartments got bugs and the property is discusting as there customer service
My wife and I have been living here for a year. Every experience we have had, from maintenance to lease signing to interactions with the staff, consistently sets the standard for our expectations at an apartment community! Amber has taken the best care of us; everyone on staff we’ve worked with and talked with all show genuine care for us residents—and their pets! Definitely recommend checking this place out; it’s also in a great part of town where you can enjoy some peace and quiet!
We just moved in. I couldn’t be happier. Beautiful property in Henderson - but the friendly professional staff really made the difference! They speak of the units as our “home”, not just apartments. They are Courteous and explain everything along the way during the application process. There were no surprises or hidden fees. We have found a sweet place to live with people we like. Three and a half years ago, reaching our id 70's, my wife and I moved to La Serena at The Heights because we could no longer keep up with the demands of home ownership. In that time we've never had a complaint. The office staff is very accommodating and friendly. The landscaping is immaculate. The pools, jacuzzi, and fitness room are also kept in great shape. Our #1 positive would go to the maintenance. Anytime we've had a problem it has been dealt with in a timely manner.
I have been in this apartment for six months now. I moved from Atlanta and did not see the unit until I got here. I worked with Andera who gained my confident in leasing a unit. All of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. I am a person who hates bug of any size. This place is clean. Renting a apartment here is like buying a house. They do a thorough background check, which I appreciate now. It is a quiet place. I don't hear my neighbors and I don't hear loud music and such. I think you would love living here. I know I do. I love my apartment, the location is great, the complex is kept clean & the office staff is very helpful. I had a problem with my A/C the maintenance man Daniel fixed it within a few hours. I would highly recommend La Serena to anyone, it's a nice place to live.
The area is calm, its maintained nicely, and adore the amenities which make up for the tad expensive rent. The apartment is quaint, wonderful carpeting. Anything that needs fixing, will be done right away. However there is one thing that pulls me from leave a five star review. The management. Be aware of the one they call "Andrea".
I have lived in 7 different apartments, paid all my bills on time, and had never received a complaint for another tenant. The staff here at La Serena at the Heights is rude and disrespectful. It is overpriced and they will find anyway to find something to charge you for from living there, until move out. I can honestly say I haven't had a worse experience at this complex. As soon as my contract was up I got out ASAP.
They have storage on property which will be very helpful since I will be downsizing(waiting for my house to sell). Had a lovely tour and the leasing agent even told me to drive thru so I can get a feel for the community. That was a great idea (have not rented in apt in ages)I noticed how clean and quiet it was. Saw a lot before deciding to rent here. It seems like a no fuss no muss community. Looking forward to my move in day.
My husband and I have lived here for almost three years. It is a great clean place. Maintenance always has responded quickly to our needs. The management staff has always been pleasant. Really over all it is a nice place to live. Our 2 bedroom apt has a super large patio and there are massive trees that give us shade. We really like the grounds as we came here from Florida and we are use to very green landscaping. This is hard to find in Vegas. Everything tends to be cold, or desert landscaping. Also there is a really nice gym. We were able to save money and cxl our 24 hour fitness membership. La Serena @ The Heights has proven to be a great place for us to call home. :):):):):):):):)
been here about a year. good location, office staff always helpful, maint. around all the time and repair requested answered promptly. grounds are mostly clean and well landscaped. if you come to gamble like I did the apartments are affordable and close to three off strip casinos. the pool, hot tub and gym are well kept and used a lot. grill needs to be replaced. this is the only apartment I know of that will let you park a boat or rv on property, it's a nice perk. if you want to live on the south side of town this place is hard to beat.
I have lived here for over 3 years so quiet and the office staff is great. I love my huge patio and floor plan of my apartment. Lots of space and good side patio storage. Would highly recommend;.
I lived in a 2br 2ba upstairs for 3 yrs. I lived at another complex on Eastern & wasn't happy so I moved to La Serena @ the Heights. I was very happy with my apt. & my neighbors were all great! I will say that it was kind of a pain to get qualified but it was worth it, the caliber of people that you live next to is far better than down the street. The maintenance staff got the problems fixed the next day & the grounds are beautiful. I'm planning on moving back to Las Vegas & I'll be going back to La Serena @ the Heights.
La Serena is hands down one of the better places that I've resided. Our unit was equipped with new appliances, the floor plans are spacious and the size of the patio is second to none. The landscaping is lush and green, lots of trees and GRASS!!! The community is very quiet at night, no wild and crazy parties. Everything is located nearby, from dining to shopping and entertainment. I have lived here going on 2 years and will probably stay here until I leave the city.
La Serena is like no other apartments in the Vegas Valley. There is lush green landscaping throughout the property. My floor plan is pretty big and the patios are unlike any other in the area. I haven't had any problems with maintenance, most are done by the next day. For the age of the apartments they have really been kept up nicely. I have lived here just shy of 2 years, but I feel as if I found my home. I definitely know that I won't be moving any time soon!!
We really like the neighborhood which features stores like Trader Joes, Smiths, Target, Walmart, and plenty of restaurants. Inside, we really like the park-like setting throughout the complex. There are lots of trees and grass and it reminds us of our previous location in Los Angeles. We also love that it's dog friendly and has plenty of pet stations with "doggy bags." The apartment itself has plenty of storage space but if more is needed, it can be added to the monthly rent for a modest fee. The only things we would like to see upgraded are the older-looking kitchen cabinets and the size of the refrigerator. However, there is lots of counter space in the kitchen. Overall, we enjoy living at La Serena at The Heights.
I love this place, staff is awesome.. complex very clean.. awesome place to live.. i absolutely love my over sized patio, sitting out there in the morning drinking coffee and in the evening watching movies. .
Once you have lived at this beautifully landscaped property you will have realized that this is easily the best alternative to owning your own residence. The management and staff are always very friendly and courteous. With such amenities as two pools and a spa, a fully equipped exercise room, onsite management, and 24 hour emergency service. We have been in our 2bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for about 6 years. We love it! The grounds are lovely and well-maintained. The maintenance department responds immediately if there is a problem. It is very quiet and peaceful. It is gated; there are 2 pools and a spa; the apartments are spacious with high ceilings and lovely patios with storage.
I had Cancer,my husband of 28 years left me , I lost my house. After moving 4 times I finally found this apartment that feels like home again. I look forward to coming home after work and my dog, Lucky, loves it too. So happy here after a difficult time
I lived in this community for 18 months. It is very well located just 15 mins drive from Vegas strip and airport. Staff is very nice , helpful and honest. I recommend this community to anyone looking for good, safe community at affordable rates.
We have have lived in many apts and this has been the nicest by far. The complex is clean and has lots of nice huge trees. Take it from someone who has lived in the vegas desert her whole life, this place is very lush and pretty.
