So far so good! Building management and staff are all super helpful and friendly. The community feels like an actual community where residents say hi and acknowledge each other (very different from other places I’ve lived.) And the location is pretty great so if having a grocery store in the building!

I am glad I picked Jackson when I moved to Seattle. The location is close to my two children and with Walgreen’s across the street and Amazon Fresh downstairs I really have everything I need within walking distance. The bldg is always clean and my apartment has nice appliances including a washer & dryer in unit.

Moving is exciting, but also nerve-wracking. The biggest quality that means the most to me living anywhere, is how patient and approachable the leasing office is, and with all the phone calls I made, this is the reason why I picked the Jackson. The staff took the time to sit down with me to explain everything to me, including their modern in-home amenities, something I never had before.

It’s a very nice place if you want to live just outside the craziness of seattle. Quick access to the freeway is a god send! And the location is 5-10 mins away from everything you need which is awesome! The best part has to be that you don’t have to leave the building to go get groceries because it’s on the bottom floor!

Moved in a little less than a month ago and am settling in great. Staff have all been very responsive, friendly, and professional. Building is well maintained; there’s even a workshop space downstairs to work on projects, in addition to the usual building amenities (common rooms, gym).

I have had several issues with this apartment as a whole as far as the security, theft of my bike, theft of packages, transients freely roaming the apartments and tagging inside of the apartments facility, aggressive pets and this is just in a years time. I attempted to speak with find what has been stolen. Because you're camera's might not go back that far. Then don't have time to do that and also one problem at a time to reach the manager, so please have them call me as soon as possible. Thank you.

I would not recommend living here. Very poor communication with management, your bike or car is not safe. Bikes getting stolen, cars getting broken into but management will not warn you of it even though they told me they would. I have more to say but I’d like to move on.

It's a 3 out of 5 so far, not great, not terrible. I have no issues with employees or maintenance, but the building and its setup are meh. The mailing system, for example, seems confusing for USPS. Mail not sent through Fetch but specified to my mailbox often come with a message that say "your box number and apartment number do not match"... Also, -I was told upon signing my lease that I could smoke by the stairway on King Street, which turned out to not be true since it's not actually 25 feet from the residence, so every once and a while I get hassled by the security guy or some neighbor telling me to cross the street, go somewhere else, or that I can't stand where I'm standing. And, -the app for entry access doesn't work and neither building employees nor the app owner associates have been able to help resolve the issue so I quit trying. Again, all and all, this isn't the worst building or neighborhood in the world, just not super great.

So far it was been a good experience at Jackson, the location is great, lots of shops and restaurants near by. The apartment is very nice, have A/C has been wonderful, the leasing staff is nice and responsive. The only complaint is the parking and also somebody sometimes smokes nearby but we can’t tell who it is. Otherwise its great!

I usually don’t post reviews but I was very satisfied with the help I got from the staff at the leasing office, specifically Jessi, throughout the entire application process! She was sweet, thorough, communicative and got me settled into the perfect apartment for me! In the building itself, I love the amenities provided and the convenience of being close to essential retail such as grocery, pharmacy, etc. the unit layouts are really nice as well and have great appliances! Overall very happy with my experience so far!

Design of property was clearly purposeful and strategic. Ease comfort and aesthetic was priority. The grounds are beautifully landscaped in a modern energy efficient fashion but is not vulgar but quiet. The social spaces are well laid to ensure multiple households can enjoy one space and not feel your invading. My unit is a spacious 1 bedroom with amazing sunlight beaming as much as Seattle skies will allow through my floor to ceiling window. The kitchen is large with more than ample amount of storage as well as the bathroom. Overall I appreciate the layout of this unit though the bedroom is small the walkin closet is WONDERFUL! The maintenance dept has great leadership and it shows as they repair/replace/fix the 1st time! The leasing office staff needs an complete overhaul.

Management does not care about anything. Issues: - Fire alarms going off 5-6 times a month - Constant garage breakdowns in the extent that you cannot leave the premises - Entering premises unannounced and without notice (they are unorganized). - Doors being left unlocked allowing stangers to enter building in a neighborhood still undergoing a transformation.

This place would be alright, if not great comparitively, but there is some huge issues that make it miserable to live here. The fire alarm system is downright defective. It goes off constantly, for seemingly no reason, causing two entire unconnected buildings to evacuate. Then, it goes off in short bursts constantly for days after each time. It has gone off 12 times in the last 8 hours, even past midnight. Usually there's an episode of this that happens at 4am or some other ungodly hour, at least twice a month. The system is so loud it instantly triggers my tinnitus, and I swear it's unsafe. Oh also every time this happens the elevators usually go down for days so I'm sure that's wonderful for anyone handicapped. One time they didn't even manage to get the flashing lights to turn off, I'm sure people loved having a painfully bright strobe light in their living room for several hours. I'm sure if there was an actual fire, everyone here would burn alive because we're all so used to ignoring it. It's not a matter of money, this place is owned by a multi billion dollar estsate, and managed by an even larger holding company. It's been acting like this since I moved here over a year ago. There has been one single public message about the alarms back last April, and that's it. No communication otherwise. Unfortunately Greystar doesn't really care about terrible reviews, because the housing shortage means they fill apartments anyway. If you have a choice though, please look elsewhere.

10/10 would recommend. Solid walls, I haven't heard my neighbors once! Incredible shared amenities. Built in high speed internet and you have options, which is rare in this area. Efficient and friendly staff. It's the little things that make it a 10 for me, local art all over the halls and shared spaces, back splash kitchen walls in most units, modern appliances and the list goes on, and on! The only minor negative thing is there's a wait list for the parking garage and it's pretty "seattle price", which is to say steep. But if you don't have a car, don't mind parking in the neighborhood and can swing the on site parking when it's available you should definitely check this place out.

Overall, it is a decent place to live. I have lived in the neighborhood for about a year before moving here and I will say it can be a bit dicey. There have been quite a few shootings since I've lived here some right across the street by the Starbucks and Walgreens. The building it's self is nice. It's a new construction but it is only 7 stories which means they don't have to adhere to as stringent building codes. This leads to thinner walls a ceilings. I can definitely hear my neighbors especially the ones upstairs. I can often make out their exact conversations and have to listen to them walk around all day. The location itself is great. You are right off the highway but not too close that you hear noise and you are less than a 15-20min from pretty much anywhere in Seattle. The building has decent amenities like a couple of barbecue grills, and a gym. There is also an amazon fresh store located below the building which is convenient.

Overall I'd say I'm satisfied with living here so far. It's brand new and connects to the Amazon Fresh grocery store which is a MAJOR PLUS! The bus lines are within minutes walk, plus it's close to the freeways. What more could you want? There is a lot to walk around to find all of the amenities, but I appreciate the cleanliness of the premises. Thank you!

The main thing I like is the floor isn't carpeted, the layout of the apartment is nice, the colors on some of the walls make the apartment very attractive, there are good amenities, and the units are built in ways that reduce noise.

Jackson Apartments is a beautiful large complex inspired by the art and music culture in the local neighborhood. They have an apartment to meet your exact needs - from more storage space to lighter or darker color schemes, there is such a variety to choose from. They have plenty of amenities to provide you a difference scene outside your apartment that are spread out throughout the building. My experience leasing with the staff wasn't the best due to inconsistent communication, but if you can get past that, you'll have a good apartment in a good neighborhood.

I love living at Jackson! It is a beautiful building with well-appointed units and incredible amenities. Everyone I have encountered has been very nice and friendly. The location in the Central District is perfectclose everything but very quiet. The neighborhood around the complex has been great for walking my dog. I am very happy at Jackson!

Jackson Apartments is a great place to live. My windows overlook a shared space where you can spend all day people watching, which includes lots of dog-watching as well. I've lived here for about a week or two and it's been such a pleasant experience for me. My application process was seamless, the staff answered any & all questions I had during the application process, and my move-in was super smooth! The amenities are great, I've met some lovely neighbors along the way, and I'm in love with my apartment with all new appliances and features. And the built in WiFi modem/router unit via CenturyLink saves the usual WiFi setup hassle! So far, so good here at Jackson Apartments. Would 10/10 recommend friends, family, and others to live here, no question!
