Howell Uptown

We’ve done this week. Staff has been excellent. Apartment was clean and moving and has been pretty easy. No complaints. I’m looking forward to living here.

Kayla was great throughout the touring and application process. Looking forward to calling Howell our next home. The view of the City from the pool deck area is Insane!

Overall good experience living here. It's pretty safe except for some homeless people who frequent the area because of the cemeteries. There can be some issues with noise from other units because the walls aren't insulated that well, but I am overall happy because it's a smaller community so it has a better feel than the larger ones so you're able to get to know more of your neighbors and recognize more people.

We love it here! I enjoy the amenities like the coffee machine, it is very clean, and very secure. Would highly recommend. You would be silly not to apply to live here!

Community spaces are kept clean and staff is helpful. Some cleaning products (I assume) are extremely scented and can make areas unpleasant.

Absolutely love living here! the apartment is so nice. neighbors are nice, the amenties are great - the staff is super responsive. I feel safe in the community and cannot say enough good things!

Leasing office was super helpful with the move in process, property is kept well clean and fresh smells, units are clean and updated and the maintenance team is very quick to respond. No complaints!

The phone service throughout the building is shoddy and they've done nothing to fix it. Wifi doesn't work in all common areas like other complexes in the neighborhood. They ask for feedback, but don't make improvements.

Community is safe and clean. Maintenance is quick and responsive. Smaller more boutique style but really enjoying it so far within my 1st month here. One major downfall is the people above me are horrifically loud. Every foot step sounds like they are going to come crashing thru my ceiling.

The Howell is fantastic! The amenities are top-notch, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and their systems are efficient. From package delivery to valet trash, everything runs smoothly!

We have loved living at the Howell so far. The area is a great community and an exciting neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping.

I have lived in the same unit for 3.5 years and I loved every minute of it. The location is perfectly set in Uptown, and I love the ability to easily walk between State Thomas, West Village, and beyond using the Katy Trail. The shared spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. Easy communication with the leasing office and their staff. I may have to relocate due to work but if I could stay here after my lease ends, I definitely would!

Location is great. Love the view of downtown between the old cemetery as it gives Central Park vibes …. Walkable area to Katy trail and several Dallas attractions.

Nice complex. Apartments are clean and comfortable. The roof is what sold it for us; great view of the city. Who doesn’t love a rooftop pool??

Love living here, it’s great! Common areas are kept clean and organized. Maintenance is responsive. The amenities are nice for a small apartment complex, although I do not use them often.

Howell is great! Staff is friendly. Maintenance is fast! It is quiet and safe. We just moved in but feel right at home. Everyone we have met has been very nice

Normally give a 3-4 star rating based on staff and location along with the views of downtown. The apts are not fancy by any means & the fixtures, hardware and carpet support that statement. It’s all about the location and views. Deducting one star as I’m Not impressed with the renewal process thus far, it appears Highmark Res doesn’t care about current paying tenants based on how I’ve been treated. That’s very unfortunate for both parties. Also deducting a star, the pool is currently green and TVs still don’t work on the roof deck. They haven’t worked since I’ve been here. There is also a car in the common parking area that’s been here going on a year, it finally had a sticker to tow but has been here for months with the sticker on it. Given the fact we have limited parking if you don’t pay, this shouldn’t still be here taking up space if the car doesn’t run nor does it seem to belong to an actual tenant.

I do like living here the apartments are nice! My car got broken into behind the gate, after we got a notice saying that we had had a lot of car break ins lately. I told the leasing office and they didn’t really seem to care or help me out. It seemed like they were aware of the break ins but hadn’t really done anything to get them under control and then just said to file a police report. They also had security footage of the break in but still didn’t really offer to do much to get my belongings back or repaid. Otherwise it’s a great place to live. The office staff are friendly and apartments are nice. Maintenance is nice. Overall a smaller community. The elevators are really slow though

Amazing community and area. Great pool and everyone around is very friendly. Apartment has an awesome view of the cemetery and surrounding nature.

Parking gate is constantly broken and cars are being vandalized the building isn’t responsible for the damages and will not do anything to ensure the safety and security of your property

Love, love it here! The staff as well as the maintenance are always on top of it, the space is clean always, and neighbors are quiet. Definitely my favorite apartment ever!

Great location. Staff is very friendly - maintenance is responsive to all requests I have submitted… kept clean but it would be nice if TVs worked in pool area & treadmills seem on their last leg…

I love the location and the friendly staff! I just wish the trash rooms weren't always dull and when people leave their trash by their doors during non trash days and don't use their bins so it smells. I also wish we didn't have the extra $25 a month, nothing has changed

Love it here!!!! very clean and well taken care of and the staff are very friendly and helpful with everything! The community is pretty quiet overall so that is also nice!

Beautiful apartment complex. Rent is a little high though. The pool has an insane view which is the best part. Wish there was more than one main elevator because it takes a long time.

My move in process was very smooth and everyone in the leasing office has been very helpful so far! The building is kept up well and maintenance is quick to respond to any needs.

I really enjoy the resident events they offer. Love my view and def a great location. Maintenance is always on top of the work orders... staff/maint will always greet you with a smile :) Appreciate ya all!

I love it. The pool is amazing with rooftop views of Dallas. Plus a great gym that never crowded. The staff is fantastic and even has its own Tesla chargers

I have loved living here! The common areas are clean and well maintained. Our apartment gets great natural light and is spacious. Chloe at the front desk is always so helpful and so kind. She goes above and beyond!

The unit is very modern I love the double shower that my unit had The apartment has periodic security patrols at night which makes me feel safe The amenities, like the complimentary coffee and the fitness center, are appreciated and are always kept clean I appreciate the dog stations around the building The management and maintenance team are responsive when I have queries or need help with anything going on in my unit

Management is generally responsive, which is appreciated. Noise from the rooftop is extremely frustrating, especially at 8 am on the weekends. I wouldn’t recommend if you frequently work from home, especially over the summer. It’s too expensive an apartment to deal with the noise.

Everything has been great so far! No complaints at all! Moving in was so easy and I love my apartment. Maintenance is so helpful and friendly. Really great quality apartment and amenities.

Staff is great. Location great. Could use some sprucing up in some of the common areas around the elevators for a cleaner look. Apartment has fairly cheap features but a great view!

I fell in love with this building and the staff here. Everyone is great! It’s in such a beautiful location in uptown — plus there’s a dog park w/ a bar right down the street!

The Howell complex is great and the staff always complete maintenence queries very quickly. I really like my apartment and decided to stay another year

Enjoying my time at Howell Uptown… great views of downtown skyline, awesome location and great staff . Maintenance is always prompt, friendly and anytime there are issues with community amenities, they’re addressed quickly. Boston and team are awesome

Great staff and nice location! Only thing to mention is the trash room seems to always be full if you need to drop off on a non trash pick up day

Everything has been wonderful! The location is beyond perfect! The views from the roof/pool are magical. The staff is responsive and thoughtful and the apartment is beautiful! The only thing we’d change is having access to the rooftop at 6 am so I could have coffee up there!

The staff is friendly, the building is clean, it is easy to get the mail, and I love the amenities. The rooftop pool is amazing! My only negative thing to say is the security. The parking garage has had many car break ins - my car included. There are no cameras/ security system to prevent robberies and when notified, the office doesn’t do anything about it.

Howell uptown is a fantastic place to live! Common zones, people, cleaning, location, pool, gym, everything here is fantastic. I really recommend to visit this place and live here, and I also want to highlight the peace and respect that everyone shows.

Common areas are nice and the finishes in the apartments themselves are good. I wish the common areas were kept a bit cleaner and the gym equipment was in better shape.

Nice property and staff is quick to respond. Not looking forward to the new amenity fee. I would rather they spend money on security than amenities or events. They should at least let us vote to see what the $25 a month is used for. The gym desperately needs new stuff so that would be good.

Overall a great community with a great set up for spacious rooms, lots of common areas, very nice amenities. Somewhat difficult to get management attention for issues or even help. Management also could have done a much better job for our move in appointment and provided us basically no direction on community policies/tours/tips. We are still trying to navigate this building but overall pleased so far.

Pros: Boston was a great leasing agen to work with & all maintenance so far has been prompt. Awesome location. Easy move in process. The rooftop pool and deck are great. Sky lounge is great. Views are spectacular… Cons: The elevators are not air conditioned and neither are the halls beyond floor 1 & the trash rooms get pretty filled up with people just throwing things in there Vs using the chute.

Absolutely love Howell! Boston was great to work with! The apartments are beautiful & quite. Walkable area with great food/bars. Highly recommend.
