      Moving to NJ after living in Brooklyn for 16 years, my initial experience was not great until I move to Harrison Yards. I feel like I not only got what I wished for but more. Apartments are spacious, gets great light, Path train is literally 3 minutes by walk, common spaces are very well maintained, concierge and maintenance team are so helpful as well as the leasing team. If you are looking for an upgrade to your living conditions and still being close enough to New York for job/business needs, we should definitely be neighbors!

      The building still under construction

      The building is an absolute horror show leaking pipes broken cabinets when I first moved in my neighbor was a homeless guy who so happen to sneak through and now since Greystar took over they pretty much added on to the problem. Leasing office is a joke they never answer nor pay back security deposits STAY AWAY

      Never trust their promise

      Never sign the contract with this apartment! They will break the deal. I know many people write review that they didn't got the free month rent back. And it's truth! I sign up the contract with this apartment in OCT, and when I finished the background check and everything and about to move in. They suddenly said they are not able to give me the two month free rent, since their management team decided to revoke the two month free rent, and I'm no longer will get my two month free rent! Please, don't trust anything they promise. This is what they told me after we sign the contract and my application got approved.: Unfortunately, our manager has changed the concession special. With that being said, our specials expire on 12/31/23.

      Don't Rent Here

      Extremely disappointed with this property. The list of issues that remain unsolved are unbelievable: • Security is a major issue here. No one checks who is coming in and out of the building and there are no key fobs required to move around the building at all. • The driveway has been closed since we moved in, which makes access to the building for things like deliveries very difficult. • The exterior of the building is not lit. They recently added a light tower with a loud generator after many complaints from tenants • The quality of the craftsmanship of the building is terrible. • The gym was opened recently, but many of the machines do not work. • The shower in our main bedroom has been leaking since we moved in in December. They have SLOWLY attempted to fix it about 4 or 5 times. This last time actually made it worse and we are unable to shower in our main bathroom • There were no screens in our living room windows. We requested them in December and JUST got them in August. They are the wrong size, gaps are left, so we still can't actually open those windows. • There was a major leak in our living room and second bedroom coming from the roof a few months a go. It was bad enough to pull the paint off the walls. Took a full week THIS month to get it repaired. • We are now seeing bugs all over our apartment. We've found gaps in the floor boards where they must be coming through. We reported this to management over a week ago and still don't have an update on a resolution. • Response time to requests (as you can see from some bullets above) is unacceptably slow. When you ask to speak to someone from ownership that request is ignored. Ownership and management are currently feuding and passing the blame back and forth. • There have been reports of an intoxicated man trying to gain access to the building and hanging around the parking lot, which is poorly lit as well. Police were called when he locked himself in the gym of the building. • Residents from a nearby property were secretly using this gym when their gym was under construction. It is well-known in the neighborhood that Harrison Yards lacks security. • Rents are being increased 18% for anyone that renews, but no advancements have been made in the completion of the building Ownership does not care about this building or the residents! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!!! Save yourself the headache.

      Don't move here

      If you plan to move into Harrison Yards ask them about the stranger who got arrested at the gym! ask them about the stranger who was spotted multiple times on the terrace. The terrace is open to the public without fobbed gate, no lights, and no cameras. You should also ask them how old the TVs that they installed in the community room are. And when they will install the TV cable ??. The appartments are spacious with poor quality material and finishing. They advertised state of the art fittness center and they brought used unfunctional equipments. The security measures taken by the owner are below zero and ironicly they are increasing the rent by 18%!!! There are certain standards in the buildings of this area, so I advise you to look around before signing a lease with harrison yards

      Open to the public

      If you want to live in a building shared with strangers and homeless, this is the place for you! Lack of Security cameras. No fobbed key system to all entry points in the building. No lights/cameras installed on the terrace. No proper landscape maintainace, mosquitos and bugs are everywhere. The building is shaking. Air condition filter smells horrobile every time it works. The road to the building is closed. Gym equipments are leased, used and unfunctional. The uncovered parking is with no lights and no security cameras with two big manholes covered with wooden boards. No gates to the covered and uncovered parking. One small barbeque grill for the entire building. We were promised everything will be fixed and will be as "advertised" but nothing is happening and it is getting worse and worse! If you like a bad, horrible and expensive experince, this is the place for you.

      False promises

      Move-In Day: The apartment building was brand new meaning there was still construction dust and grime in our unit when we were doing the walk through. We were told this would be all cleaned up before we moved in. We got to the apartment unit with our movers and noticed it was still exactly the same as when we first saw it. The building got someone to clean after we had moved in all of our furniture and they did a very poor job. We had to hire professional cleaners to make the unit suitable for living. Security: The biggest issue with this apartment building is the security. There are random strangers that enter our parking lot, our patio area, and the gym. These places should be secure with a gate and/or key fob. There have been more than a few instances where drunk/homeless people are spotted on our property. We were told in December 2021 that the intercom system at the entrance of the building would be up and running soon. Apparently it was delayed due to the shortage of chips however it is still not active 8 months later! Gym: The gym took months longer to finish than what we were initially told. Immediately after opening we discovered that 2 out of the 4 treadmills are faulty and there has been no attempt to fix this (it's been 3 months). All in all there is very poor communication surrounding any building updates and poor responsiveness to any issues that the residents raise. Even when we are told that the issues will be addressed, they rarely ever are. I would highly advise against considering this building as your next residence and instead look at the other Harrison luxury buildings nearby.

      The Reality of Harrison Yards

      I've lived here 5 months. There is no security system working on any access point in the building, and no working security cameras throughout the building. The gym has leased and broken equipment, and is not finished. Landscaping around the building is non-existant (cmpared to other proerties in the neighborhood). There is no communication from the managerment on anytihng. I would seriously reconsider moving into this building. In light of several of the residents withoholding rent payments, and forming a tenants board to formalize the complaints, the rents are being raised by 18%. Look around before consiering Harrison Yards.

      Poorly built, noisy, and rooms shake

      This apartment was poorly built. The cabinets are not aligned and some of the room is already damaged. The walls seem to be paper thin or poorly insulated and you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. And the rooms shake because of the close proximity to the PATH and highway. There are also major management issues that don’t get resolved but instead they make a lot of excuses for themselves.
