Camden Midtown has it all: incredibly convenient location, modern and well-maintained amenities, and responsive and caring staff. After living here for a year, I cannot recommend this apartment complex enough. My experience from living in many apartments in Houston is that no matter how cool the gym, pool, or area is, if the apartment staff is not responsive and empathetic to your resident needs, your life will be difficult. This is not at all the case at Camden Midtown. The staff (Brenda, Marcus, Orlando, Ariel) in particular are extremely passionate about what it means to be a Camden resident. Whether it's a happy hour or pool movie night event, or responding to a payment question, they are with you all throughout the way. I am truly appreciative to have been a resident of Camden Midtown and wish the staff all the best. The Camden Midtown staff embodies what it means to put the resident in the central focus of all decisions.

I have been living here for almost nine months. Pros include being in the middle of everything, walking distance to bars and food, close to downtown, nice complex but nothing special. Unfortunately the location makes it a magnet for the homeless. Since I have moved in I have had my bike stolen off my porch, where it was locked up. I have also left to go to work and found a homeless lady passed out at my door in her own puke. Not to mention the beggars everything I step outside the gates or the people passed out on the sidewalk. I tried to get Camden to do something regarding resident safety but so far I have seen nothing. Couldn't even check the cameras since they have been "down" for weeks. Kind of ridiculous considering the amount of money I pay per month. Needless to say I will be moving when my lease is finally over.

This property continues to impress me with their customer oriented spirit. Recently, I had an emergency at my apartment. The maintenance team sent Lazaro to take care of the situation. Lazaro was very patient and professional while helping me with my weekend emergency. He arrived quickly and immediately resolved the issue while being very courteous.. While I tried to apologize for the emergency call, he continued to remind me that he is at the service of the resident and to not hesitate to contact them if there is ever a problem. After completing the issue that I called for, Lazaro took it upon himself to make another small repair that would improve the ease of entry at the front door. I am very thankful for staff members like Lazaro as he helps to instill the utmost confidence in the Camden staff.

I just moved in 2 weeks ago and it has been a great experience thus far. The staff go out of their way to make sure your needs are met and will do more than necessary to make sure you are up to speed with all of the finer details. They are upfront and make moving in an actually fun experience (weird right?). I'm honestly glad I chose this location.

I have only been here for a week but already feel great about our decision to live here. Chandler was awesome with answering emails and questions for the month leading up to move in. He was super friendly and responsive would highly recommend working with him! When we moved in we had issue with keys and a door in the apartment both of which where fixed within an hour of being reported. So far (small sample size) things have been great, clean, great location, friendly and reasonably priced for midtown!

Love that it’s so centrally located. Walking distance to so many places. The pool is utterly amazing and the gym is open 24/7. Office staff is very friendly and professional, as well as accommodating.

I feel Camden has been a good value for me from the start of my rental. I know on occasion there has been apartments broke in to and cars vandalized, but as for me personally I haven't had any issues with that problem and have been at Camden for over a year and feel safe living on the first floor. I just always remain vigilant and make all attempts to be aware of my surroundings going in and out and it is always best to verify after going through gates who is coming in behind you and their actions or intentions and that goes for any place no matter where you may live or are at. The office staff has always been cordial and I have had no issues as for getting assistance on anything I have ask of them whether it be an apartment issue or when making suggestions for improvements at the complex. All suggestions may not be performed, but they have listened and said they would try to address them if possible. I think that changing from Phonoscope to a different cable company would be a big improvement and needs to be looked in to very soon. Maintenance department has always been efficient and performed in a positive manner. As for me I am satisfied with Camden Midtown accommodations.

This community is stunning and full of life; it's like your own personal zen garden in the center of the city! The view from the rooftop is phenomenal, it's in walking distance from all of the best bars, and the swimming pools feel like a resort. The staff is very welcoming and makes it really feel like home. I love Camden!

I only ever toured here, but the experience I had with the staff and amenities was great! I wish I could have lived here, but I didn't end up getting transferred to Houston. If I ever have the chance to come back, I will live here!

I just recently moved into Camden Midtown from the Philadelphia area and have enjoyed the smooth transition. From having my wireless and cable all set up before I even moved into the apartment, to the friendly faces that are in the Welcome Center, I don’t feel all that far away from home. I am an avid runner and love the fact that I can run to downtown, and to the Buffalo Bayou without even needing to step foot into a car. I very much enjoy how the famous Midtown bars are within walking distance and I love the fact that the highways are very accessible from our parking garage. In a city that I expected to travel by car everywhere, Camden Midtown offers a nice respite from the need of a car.

I moved here 2 months ago and everything has been excellent. The community is well maintained. Service request are responded very quickly and the apartments have a good distribution. The only complaint I have is that they don't receive packages in the leasing office and the Postal service has to leave in front of the door.

This is the best place I could find for the best price for where I wanted to live, midtown Houston. As always there are some things that could be fixed, but for the price and location, this is the best I could find!

Camden Midtown is in a great location! There's a Randall's right across the street, it's a block away from a MetroRail stop, and there's plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The interiors look great, with stainless steel appliances and beautiful wood cabinets. The apartment staff is also very friendly and maintenance requests are always resolved extremely quickly. My only complaint with this apartment is that the tv and internet is provided by Phonoscope, which has few HD channels, and very poor and inconsistent internet speeds.

My husband and I have been a Camden resident for the last six years and love living here. Our apartment is spacious and everything has been upgraded. The property is in a perfect location in the city in the heart of all the trendy restaurants and bars. Not only are there several resort-like pool areas with lounge chairs and space to BBQ, there are gyms and several classes offered. The staff is very pleasant and professional and usually try to accommodate to our needs as best as possible. The community hosts several fun events throughout the year to help residents acclimate to the neighborhood, and is even pet friendly.

The staff is extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of. They are great about answering any questions you may have and they are extremely friendly. Additionally, you can't find a better location to live. It's right in midtown so you are close to bars, yet not so close that there is a lot of noise or safety concerns. Also they have two gorgeous pools with wifi and two gyms which is nice! Definitely a great place to live and fair price!

I been living at Camden midtown for more than 2 years and I really like it here. The location it's perfect for young professionals... Walking distance to bars, restaurants, supermarket next door... The community it's nice, beautiful pool area, apts are kept well... Friendly staff (especially Dianne) The only downside it's that the rent increase at the renewal it's always a lot. It's more than the average national cost of living. It always cost more for existing residents to renew the lease than for newcomers and I think that's very wrong since we should get a discount for been loyal. It's like they don't care if you renew because they can rent to new people. Not fair! Overall, a great place though.

Just moved here and love it! I have a pool view, and off the of the balcony there is a great view of downtown! Rooms are spacious with very nice bathrooms. Office staff is very helpful. Location is great for younger adults, plenty of restaurants and night life. Close to the metro rail which is also very convenient. Both fitness centers have plenty of room and equipment, usually very quiet during the early afternoon which is great for those wanting to workout with few people. Security is good and very locked down - keys for all gates, locked parking garage, and key fobs for pools and fitness centers. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone! Price is great for the location, management, and maintenance.

Camden Midtown “goes hard” on amenities – spacious apartments with sleek interiors, exceptionally hospitable staff, two pools, and prime fitness facilities. Location is “100” (10 minute walk to downtown*10 minute Uber ride anywhere else). Houston Skyline? Check it out as you welcome guest from the top of our parking garage.

When looking to move to Houston I did a lot of research on apartments. From the second I walked in to Camden Midtown I knew that was going to be the perfect fit for me. The staff gives incredible custom service and grounds are kept in impeccable condition! I can walk anywhere I would like to go. If you are truly looking for great downtown living come to Camden Midtown!

My wife and I have lived here for over a year, and have had a great time living here. The price is reasonable for the area, of course you can find cheaper, but for the quality and the great staff, it's worth it. The location is great, I was worried about possible noise from the bars and busy street outside our window, but neither of us ever get woken up by it. All in all a great apartment.

I have lived at Camden Midtown for a little over a month now. I share a 2-BR apartment with a friend from college, and so far we have been very pleased with everything! We love our location for work and night life. We also have fun lounging by the pool and playing with our pets (dog and kitty). The only complaint I would have is the homeless people that hang around the outside benches of our apartment. I feel a little uncomfortable walking outside once the sun starts to go down. I know they are working on getting them removed though! However, overall we have really liked our new place!

The access to this property is excellent --- three interstate highways within 5 minutes drive, buses, metro rail, makes it very easy to get anywhere with options to avoid the worst traffic. Ten minutes to the Texas Medical Center, museums, zoo, and all the downtown eateries. Camden has a well deserved reputation as a luxury apartment operator. Maintenance is up to date and management is very responsive. The exercise facilities, the pools, the dog park, all make living here veryy relaxing and stress free.

Good environment and easy to use services portal. All the services could be done online and it just work.

The apartment complex boasts impressive amenities, diligent staff, and a central location. Within a few blocks are restaurants, nightlife, grocery, and pretty much anything else one may desire or need. The Houston downtown skyline towers over the Camden Midtown for an awing view. This Camden is ideal for a professional working downtown who wants to stay close to the lively city, and not sacrifice quality living conditions ..

I've lived all over central Houston in the past and have lived at Camden Midtown now for just over 3 years. My girlfriend and I are very happy here. The pluses here, in my mind (some already mentioned by others) are as follows: generally same-day maintenance fixes, super helpful staff, friendly/reasonable management (Dianne is great), whole complex got exterior paint job a year ago, most (if not all) apartments upgraded w/ stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops within the past 4 years, across street from Randall's grocery store, surrounded by bars/restaurants to west and more and more things popping up to east, easy access to Houston highways (I-10/I-45/ US 59), 2 nice gyms (one for FREE classes, one for weights), tons of organized on-site social events, and 2 well-kept and well-designed pool areas. Also, because this complex is not brand new (build in 1999), it's priced more reasonable (still high b/c it's midtown) than some of the other new complexes nearby. Add this point to all the relatively recent upgrades/facelifts mentioned earlier and you have a modern-looking apartment at a discount. Not a bad deal. Only con would be, as mentioned earlier, limited speeds and extra features from local cable provider Phonoscope (No HBO Go, HBO On-demand, like major regional cable providers).

You could not ask for a better location. These apartments are located right in the middle of Midtown, within walking distance of most bars, the light rail, and a grocery store. You're far enough away that you don't hear most of the bar noise, which is rare for Midtown. Unfortunately, the apartment amenities are not well kept and there is trash and gunk in the hallways and surrounding areas.

I have chosen to live in this apartment two separate times, once during an internship and then when I moved to Houston permanently. The staff is super friendly and you cannot beat the location.

I live in one of the two bedroom townhouses, and am very glad I signed here. It is 100ft from Celtic Gardens, but I can't hear the partying from my room when I stay in. The apt was cleaned and painted before we moved in. The gym and pool is great. The AC unit in my house is almost too good, which in Houston is perfect. Pros: Unbeatable Location Very quick (one day) maintenance Friendly Staff Great amenities Cons: Valet trash service is mediocre

I have been renting at Camden Midtown for over 3 years now. When we signed our lease, we were excited to be in a great location with nice amenities. When we moved in, we knew that the apartments were older, but recently renovated. When we arrived, our apartment was extremely clean and still smelled a bit like paint, but it quickly went away and was nice to know that they had re-painted all of the walls for us. For about the two years, we had nothing but excellent service - the staff was quick to respond to maintenance requests and was always friendly. Over the past year, I have been disappointed by a few areas. First, they have been doing a lot of renovation activities to the property, which has caused many inconveniences for the residents. For example, they recently re-painted the parking garage and we had to juggle our cars practically every day for almost 2 weeks to accommodate the new painting and power washing. From a business side, I understand why they wanted to do it, but there have been multiple projects in a short time frame that have had similar repercussions on residents. In addition, Camden has stopped receiving packages in the front office. I am assuming it has to do with the liabilities associated, but it is a huge inconvenience; you really have two options, have you package left outside of your apartment in an extremely busy neighborhood or pay to have it saved for you at UPS/USPS. Overall, it has been a decent experience and the location is really hard to beat, but we have decided not to re-new because of the loud environment of living next to a couple of bars and the changes in Camden's policies.

The location really can't be beat. Walking distance to just about everything. But that's really tainted by some poor management decisions. I'm not sure if these decisions are made locally or at a national level by Camden itself, but regardless they impact the residence. First, living here isn't cheap and they are constantly nickle and diming the residents. The latest is a $3 monthly charge for pest control. Sure, that's not much for us, but it's also not much for Camden to pay either. Then there's the mandatory trash service that comes out to about $5 to have someone take my one trash bag a week (I'd rather save $300 a year and do it myself). The cable company, Phonoscope, that they force you to use is absolutely abysmal, but since $35 is built into your rent, you really have no choice. They don't even accept packages anymore!! (This is a national Camden decision, but still). Instead packages are just left on your doorstep while you're not home for anyone to grab as they walk by. And then there are the actual decisions (and lack thereof)... such as scrapping perfectly good and comfortable pool furniture to buy black furniture that burns every time you touch it in the hot Houston summer sun. Painting the building in drab shades of grey so that it looks like a prison, instead of the warm and welcoming earth tones it used to have. Staining the hallway concrete floors a horrible dark brown that makes them look constantly wet and the hallways themselves look dark and gloomy. The gates on the outside are constantly broken for days and weeks at a time (which isn't good because there are quite a few homeless wandering around the area) and management obviously doesn't have or doesn't complete any sort of check-list by actually walking the grounds. Lights and fans are broken for months. The spray-cleaner in the gym has been empty for 2 months. And just in general they choose to spend their money on things that don't need to be fixed while ignoring those issues that do. And all the while they don't bother to ask their residents their opinions of anything. So in general, great location, nice apartments, nice pool, nice little dog park, but at some point the poor management decisions catch up. I will not be renewing and I will not stay at any Camden anywhere. I'd prefer a place where they actually care about the people who pay their salaries.

I've been at Camden Midtown for about 3 months now. I absolutely love the location. It's right next to Randall's and within a couple blocks of all the best bars in Midtown plus a variety of restaurants. I should add that once you're inside the complex it's quiet enough that you wouldn't realize you're right in the middle of everything either. In my opinion, Camden Midtown is definitely the best location in Midtown. 2222 Smith is the only other that you might consider better if you want to be able to conveniently walk to everything. So far I haven't had any issues at all with my apartment and when I've had questions the staff have always been friendly and easy to get ahold of. They always respond to emails within a day and the one maintenance request that I had to get my alarm set was resolved the same day that I submitted it. The apartment itself is about what I would expect for something in this area of town and for the amount that I pay: nothing too fancy but definitely not trashy. The pool doesn't get too crowded which is nice but I am disappointed that there are only charcoal grills and no gas grills - gas is just much more convenient. My only real complaint is that the office stopped accepting packages about a month after I moved in. I've been able to get things shipped to work but it's much less convenient. There's also the valet trash bins in the hallways at all times which look pretty unattractive, but you'll get valet trash wherever you live in Midtown no matter what. The bins make it easier for people to leave trash out whenever they want though which can stink up the hallway. Overall that hasn't been a major issue though. If it became a consistent problem I think the leasing office would take care of it as long as you let them know. Overall, if they don't up my rent on me I'll probably renew. If they do up it significantly then 2222 Smith is the next place I'll check just because Midtown living is all about location and these two are easily the best.

My fiancé and I have been living here for about a year and a half and have had a great experience. The management has been great and almost all maintenance requests are handled the same day. They are really timely with maintenance requests. The office management is friendly and usually knows our names and apartment number without even having to ask. This was the case almost immediately upon moving in. They also put on a lot of great resident events. My only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 was their discontinuing of accepting packages at the office. I understand this was a companywide decision and not specific to this property and was also told other property management companies would be doing this at their properties as well but I have yet to hear of another apartment doing this. This is one of the main reasons we chose to live at an apartment as opposed to renting a house. The discontinuation of this was really inconvenient because we are receiving many wedding gifts now and the packages are just left in front of our door for anyone to take. If we are out of town the packages could sit in front of our door for days and could very easily be stolen. This was a really disappointing decision and may affect our decision to renew when our lease expires.

As a recent tenant of Camden's Midtown location, I have experienced nothing but comfort as Camden works hard on a daily basis to fulfill what they promised me at my lease signing. Camden has responded well and helped me greatly through the move in process and adjustment to their location. The apartment is very nice and spacious for the price and location. In addition, Camden's maintenance staff responds very quickly to work orders and has often finished orders that I've filed on the same day! Would highly recommend to anyone that's looking to live in the Midtown area.

It's a tad pricey, but for the location and amenities provided, I'd say it's worth it.

It's been nearly 10 month that I have moved in Camden Midtown. This residence is very well located, in the center of the town, with bars, restaurants and everything you need around. Very close from downtown, this place is also convenient for those who work in this area. Pool, gym, business center, everything is made for the resident to feel good. Moreover the apartment is very confy, with a lot of storage. Finally, if any problem you'll find a friendly reception team, and a very reactive maintenance staff.

Close to everything downtown, Randall's, and gym. Large apartment and parking on the same level as your apartment.

The units are nice but they don't accept packages anymore. Kind of a pain but I guess I'm saving money on online shopping. The location is good.

Camden is the best of the best. The living conditions are stellar, and the staff are always cordial and professional. The apartments are spacious and kept up very well. You may feel like you're moving in to a brand new place. There are also elegant facilities that are included in your rent, like the pool and gym. I love the online system for printing parking passes and submitting maintenance requests; it makes both simple and quick. Overall, a very comfortable place to live, though the price of the rent definitely reflects that.

This apartment complex is in one of the most convenient locations in Houston, especially if you like having a social schedule. There are so many restaurants and bars within walking distance and if you can't walk there, it's usually a short drive. The leasing office does a great job of accommodating your needs and there are always resident events to give you a chance to meet your neighbors. It does tend to get noisy during the weekends, but that's expected given the location. Overall, a pretty great place to live.

The only reason I am leaving 4 instead of 5 stars is solely based on the fact that I've only lived here for one month. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed living at Camden Midtown Apartments so far. The staff, from the leasing office to maintenance to waste disposal, have been extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. The gym and other facilities are clean and well-respected by residents. I love that the community has events for residents such as hosting food trucks and happy hours at local restaurants. Highly recommend living here - great atmosphere, and amazing location in Midtown...my commute to work downtown is a 5 minute drive, or 15/20 min walk!

I have been living in a one bedroom apt. at Camden Midtown going on three years now, and I think it is a solid place to live. It's location is it's greatest asset, saving me a ton of commute time to my job down-town. Being right across from a large grocery store can't be overlooked. It's like having a big fridge across the street. A lot of bars/restaurants within walking distance as well. I think the courtyard/pool area is well done, and the two gyms are pretty convenient. I have always had a good experience with staff/maintenance. On the down-side, there are quite a few vagrants in the area, but they have only bugged me for money. I have heard of some crime in the area, and I'd think a little harder about safety if I were not male. I think that goes for much of midtown anyway. Rent increases were a bit too much for my liking, but rent seems to have come down a bit. I'd still like to see it come down a bit more. Overall good, as you can see by my rating. Cheaper rent, and less vagrancy would push it to 5 star. DG

Great location, pleasant staff very pet friendly. They have recently stopped taking packages for residents and now do more door delivery but I have been having to pick up some of mine at the post office. Otherwise great apartments and location

I have been a tenant here for almost 2 years. As of right now, I plan to renew. The location is great, with rent costs being in line with other apartments in the area. It's a very quick walk to Randall's for groceries, or across the street to numerous bars and Specs. Two blocks away is the metro rail, allowing access to downtown, the museum district, med center, or NRG stadium for a whooping $1.25. I can easily park my car on a Friday and not move it until Monday. The grounds and pool are kept clean, with the best office and maintenance staff I've encountered while renting. As an added bonus, the complex stays pretty quiet on weekends, even with the hustling midtown bars across the street. No review would be complete without complaints and annoyances. Keep in mind as you read these, I still plan on renewing here. 1. By FAR the biggest inconvenience is the change in their package policy. No longer are packages held at the office, they are instead delivered to your door. Considering the urban location of this apartment (easy theft), and the amount paid in rent, it's absurd they no longer hold packages. To make matters worse, since the change in policy, USPS has made an on-time delivery to my door just under 20% of the time. Packages have been lost, converted to requires signature and stored at the post office, marked un-deliverable/returned, or late by a day . I've also seen packages simply sitting in front of the mailboxes. I can't recall an instance it wasn't delivered on time to the office. It's pathetic, infuriating, and should be converted back. This reason alone is why I'm rating 4 instead of 5 stars. 2. Parking garage. Crime in an apartment parking garage can't be helped. Especially in such an urban setting.I have noticed broken window glass twice and one GMC pickup's four stolen wheels. The pickup instance appeared to include bolt cutting the chain on the gate. None of these involved an email making me aware a crime had taken place, which was a little disappointing. To the office's credit - one f150 was stolen (recovered) and a guy was B&E apartments on a Sunday that involved an email. 3. Valet trash is mandatory and doesn't pick up on Friday and Saturdays. Not only am I capable of carrying my trash to the dumpster to save a few bucks, but they don't even collect it the first two nights of the weekend. 4. Phonoscope basic cable is "included" in rent. Internet is not, if you opt for phonoscope's internet prepare to be disappointed.

We have been at Camden almost a year and love it. It's in a perfect location to walk any restaurant or bar Midtown and also catch the rail just down the road to go to any of the games downtown, the museum district, and NRG park. Right next door to the only grocery store (Randalls) in Midtown so that's handy. Specs one block away. The apartment was so spotless when we moved in and the management responds so quickly to any questions or concerns we have. This complex is very dog friendly, has a little dog park, great landscaping, etc. Highly suggest this place!

First off – Camden Midtown is in a great location. There is easy walking distance to restaurants, clubs, parks and the light rail. Management works to make sure our complex is secure and well maintained. There are two workout centers, so there is always equipment available. The pools are beautiful. The staff has great communication with the residents. I always know when there are maintenance projects or any issues in midtown. They make our safety and security a priority. I have had very few maintenance needs, but get quick attention to any requests. To top it all off – the complex organizes monthly socials so I get to meet many of my neighbors.

I lived in a lot of places around the world and in the U.S, and all I can say is Camden Midtown is one THE BEST PLACES I ever lived so far. At first I love the conveniency of the location. Everything is near by, school, dining, nice parks, shopping, you name it you will find it. I barely drive my car around. The train station is like 6 mins away. The price is reasonable for what they are offering, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful during the week and on week ends, the vibrant and urban lifestyle is quiet a nice break. It feels like a neighborhood not just a fancy apartment with nothing around. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It took no more than 30 mins to tour, apply, get accepted and when I moved in a nice welcome treat was waiting for me in my apartment. Moreover, once, I submitted a maintenance request and before even I even step out the apartment, literally 15 mins later, somebody knocked at my door. I love it here and I would recommend to anybody relocating for school, work or to anyone just want to feel and live what The H CITY has to offer.

Excellent management service that rolls over into the living experience. Well- maintained rental properties in a happening location. Resident involved activities help bring newly located tenants make friends with neighbors easily. Ive lived with camden for almost 4 years now, at two different property location in the greater houston area. I never receive less than 100% in making my living experience in a rental community an easy way of life. Stainless steel appliances, crown moldings, 2 pools, 2 gyms. Plenty of parking space.
