Midtown is within walking distance to so many things. The livability is great, there is a very diverse population and the neighborhood are becoming the place to live near downtown.

The main issue with the weather here is that the summers are very hot and humid. Houston also can experience thunder storms accompanied by flooding. On rare occasions the area is affected by hurricanes.
