Renters using AI to support their rental search can now connect directly with Apartments.com listings through Google Gemini’s Connected Apps. Apartments.com is among a limited group of third-party services now integrated with Gemini in the Connected Apps ecosystem.
Thanks to this new partnership, renters can browse Apartments.com listing details and submit leads directly through the popular chatbot platform. This helps renters discover and explore new rental options, while expanding property visibility for multifamily owners and operators.
How does the Apartments.com app for Gemini work?
It’s easy for renters to get started. They can enable Apartments.com as a connected app within their Gemini settings, or tag Apartments.com directly in a conversation.
From there, renters can explore and act on property information from Apartments.com within their Gemini conversation, without jumping between websites, tabs or apps. Gemini’s Connected Apps feature brings information and functionality from external tools and services directly into the conversation. This lets renters use the Gemini chatbot as a digital assistant to perform tasks within Apartments.com.
What can renters do within Gemini?
Renters can browse Apartments.com listing details and property media directly within their Gemini conversation, including:

To enable the Apartments.com app for Gemini, log in to your Google account, and then navigate to your Gemini settings.
Scroll down until you see Apartments.com (external apps are listed in alphabetical order, so Apartments.com is near the top of the list). Toggle the app on, and then start a conversation with Gemini. You can also tag Apartments.com directly by typing @Apartments.com.
