The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Grand Reserve
1. The maintenance department will close requests without even looking. 2. Management will close down amenities without giving a notice. 3. Trash problems every month. 4. People at the office do not care how long you have lived there, they will also raise there voices and be rude. I have been living here since this place opened, moving out due to new management. Did not have any plans to move until the new management.

Please be reminded that your monthly charges will be increasing in variable charges every month that nobody can explain what these new items are, nor a breakdown of these items. Very tyranny. emails not replied for six days, telephones not picked up, door was locked at least twice during business hours. Even the hotline staff has the same questions as mine...

To begin with the most important issue: Lived here for just over 2 years, had 3 leasing companies. Hilltop (the current management) is the most tyrannical. All they care about is their bottom line, there isn’t any real interest in helping the residents. In the beginning of the pandemic, they sent an email outlining the specific clauses in our leases stating we have no excuse to not pay rent. But don’t worry, they put a plunger and a roll of toilet paper at our doors to make it up to us. They do not negotiate. That being said... Great property location. Amenities are nice, maintained pretty well. Plenty of diversity from families to single residents, and still a quiet neighborhood. Walls/floors seem a bit thin at times, truly depends on your neighbors. It was worth what we paid, however prices seem to have gone way up (again, Hilltop is wildly money hungry. Including starting and issuing fines for anything they find convenient). Overall a decent living experience.

Read the fine print if you move here. I am forced to relocate for work, and the management is charging 4.5 months of rent to vacate. It would still be 2.5 months (more than $3000) even with a 60 day notice. Management has let the property go downhill without felony background checks, lawn and general maintenance has been neglected, and crime has increased. For the money this place charges, I would suggest others look elsewhere.
I love these apartments! The quality was superb with stainless steel appliances, wood floors, granite countertops and ceiling fans. The units come with nice sized balconies. The patio doors let in a lot of natural light so you don't feel like you're living in a cave. The gym is well equipped with free weights, medicine balls, and several treadmills. The resident business office leaves a lot to be desired. The all in one printer never functioned. However, the leasing office was more than willing to assist with printing and faxing when needed. This is a green community as they had recycling receptacle on site. Parking is sufficient. The complex is secured with functioning security gates. I only wished they had elevators to facilitate moving large furniture pieces to the third floor units.
You're renting for a reason, whether you're avoiding the hassles of a house or just looking to simplify your life, but you still want a "home". Well, this is it. Aura Grand is home. Between the lighted pathways that my pup loves to stroll every night, the neighbors we know by name, and the features within these walls, this is my favorite apartment I've ever lived in, and it is my home. My favorite feature of my home is my attached garage. Many of the apartments in this area do not offer attached garages, but Aura Grand has them, and they're worth every penny. Besides the extra level of safety my garage provides, it allows for me to unload groceries/purchases in the privacy of my own space, not in view of everyone else. It keeps me out of the elements, and it allows for a ton of extra storage. I could not live without this garage. The inside of my apartment is a retreat. I love my granite counters, my accent walls, and my kitchen island that overlooks my living area and creates a huge social space for entertaining. It's the perfect space for me with everything I need. In addition, Aura Grand is a community of renters who respect each other's space, host community events, and live like a true neighborhood. I feel safe and welcome here. My dog does, too! Lastly, the location here, in southwest Katy, is perfect. We're close to two major highways that provide access to all parts of the city with ease. Plus, we're in a top-rated school district, and we're surrounded by tons of restaurants and shops. So, errand-running on weekends is quick and easy. When you're ready to find your new home, check out Aura Grand. You'll be glad you did. :)
Moved in when apartments were first built. The quality in the craftsmanship was not up to par for what these units were renting at, but office staff was quick to fix what they could. The units are nice with many features and feels more like a new house rather than an apartment, however the floors I think for the price could have been at least some type of actual hardwood rather than vinyl stick on. The community is quiet with convenient amenities such as outdoor gas grills at the pool, which office staff provides propane and cleaning. They also have a really nice workout room, community events, and provide valet trash service Mo-Th which is an additional fee. Neighbors mostly keep to themselves, there are those who seem to litter, and those with dogs sometimes do not clean up after there pets, but the office is good about getting messes cleaned up within the week. Overall nice place to live, and the office staff are usually quick with requests and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice and quiet community with good ammenties.
The aura apartments community feels like it came out of a dreamers magazine. The staff is excellent, upbeat, professional and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. The community is luxurious and inviting and the apartments are beautiful and definitely feels like what I deserve. When I work hard I think I'm going to paradise and it's worth it.
