Wide, tree-lined streets in the quiet, established Malvern Garden neighborhood host mostly Colonial Revival and Tudor brick homes, backed by alleys for added parking and garage access. A part of the city’s West End, Malvern Gardens shares the West End’s upscale atmosphere. The area also offers townhomes along the bordering expressway and a tiny strip of commercially zoned buildings, including a neighborhood pharmacy, restaurant, and hair salon.
Proximity to the Interstate 195 as well as to the main east-west roads, Broad Street, Patterson Avenue, and Monument Avenue, allows for easy travel to other parts of the city. Downtown Richmond lies less than four miles away.

Property Ratings at Georgetown
I lived in Georgetown apartments for 6 years, and it was a wonderful experience. The leasing office folks, Leslie and Kristie, are two of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of living under. Always quick to help with any issues! For example, the tree on my patio had died, and they promptly had someone come remove it. Maintenance is always trustworthy and quick, usually responding the next business day. The off-street parking is a plus, and the renovated apartments are ?? The only down side I found is there’s no in unit washer dryer, though you can rent some from the office. Unfortunately they have to hook up in the kitchen, to access the sink. There are on site facilities, and they’re okay, but the prices were slowly rising to the point where it was 10$ for me to do two loads of laundry. Otherwise the community is safe and quiet, and close to everything. The patio is a wonderful privilege that you won’t find anywhere else in the fan. Truly I think this place is one of the hidden gems of Richmond rentals. Overall an A+ experience, highly recommend.
I love Georgetown Apartments. They are reasonably priced, close enough to everywhere I want to drive/walk while still being quiet, and well-kept. The office is very nice, and all my maintenance needs were taken care of within 24 hours. Very dog friendly - they just added a dog park this past year next to the Kent Road apartments. Never had a problem with noisy or unfriendly neighbors. Ample parking.

Townhome like setting with a patio that has a privacy fence and lots of space for plants, grill, and whatever else you need to relax. Central air, 24 hr maintenance, reserved parking for you and the grounds are well kept and beautiful...the office is great and always ready to help with whatever you may need. Safe area that is close to interstate no matter the direction you have to go...very close to VCU and downtown Richmond.
