The neighborhood of Scott’s Addition is a historic district in Richmond, encompassed by many buildings and structures that contributed to its achievements. This community just south of Bryan Park noticeably became a part of the “Virginia Beer Boom” after the state’s blue laws were reformed. Inside this close-knit community, nine alcohol producers call Scott’s Addition home.
Because of the breweries and distilleries here – like the Veil Brewing Company and Buskey Cider – tourism soared in Scott’s Addition. In addition to many places to grab drinks, there are tons of restaurants in walking distance of one another. To commute into Richmond, residents enjoy the convenience of city bus service and Interstate 195.

Property Ratings at GEM at Scott's Collection
Walkability is great, location amazing, decent layouts. Problems with internet in apartments and in working areas. Do not ever rent a working space. Not worth it. Too much noise and internet problems. Appliances are ok a best. They charge you money for everything on top of what it costs to live here. It's a decent apartment complex but for the price, you can find better.
We love it here! Staff is responsive and helpful, and the amenities are great and easily accessible. Plus the location is great!!
Great location and amenities!!! Best of all is the caring staff. Maintenance is always very responsive and quick to act. Makes living here very stressfree. :)
Can not beat the walkability! Walk to everything Richmond! In the middle of it all but also quiet. Neighbors are very nice and respectful. Overall clean and well built apartments with layouts and design that just makes sense. Their have been a few issues but nothing major and mainly due to this being a brand new building that is still being worked on in some areas. Again, nothing major by the small glitches and quirks of the building can be annoying sometimes. Cry happy with our choice but also eager to see this place at its best!

Beautiful so far. Could not have asked for a better spot, location wise.
Clean, New, and Great location. Moved from suburbs to this more city-centered complex and it is extremely nice to have everything I could need/want within walking distance in a safe area.
I was only in town for a few days and had a limted amount of time to view properties. The leasing staff at Scott's Collection were very helpful and answered all of my questions and booked a tour for the timeframe I needed. After viewing the floorplan I wanted and seeing the GEM had everything I wanted in a community pluse more, it was a no brainer to choose Scott's Collection.
