Located about seven miles southeast of Downtown Washington, DC, Congress Heights is a historic neighborhood experiencing revitalization. The neighborhood is home to the historic Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital and the US Coast Guard headquarters. Congress Heights is emerging as a hub for leisure and sports thanks to the newly built Entertainment and Sports Arena and Gateway DC, a green space used for festivals, farmers markets, and other community events. As far as rentals, Congress Heights is one of the most affordable places to live in the capital with condos, apartments, houses, and 20th-century townhomes available for rent.
Although the neighborhood has garnered more attention recently for its newer additions, Congress Heights is known for its tight-knit community and rich culture. Block parties are common and locals gather at community spaces like the Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus and the Congress Heights Arts and Culture Center.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Delwin Apartments
I have been at Linwood Properties a little over a year and I am moving ASAP. The COCKROACHES are the size of your fist. They have some quack spray when you send in a service complaint then the cockroaches are back 2 days later. I have never seen anything like this. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They will ask you for very personal and financial information even if they've already rented out their listed property to someone else. This place gave me the absolute run around. They kept hassling me to provide additional financial information due to previous fraud applicants. While that is understandable, they had already run my credit, spoken to my employer to verify my employment, and received 2 previous pay stubs and my most recent bank statement. Even then they asked for MORE financial documents to prove that I was receiving direct deposit. While I was hesitant about sending more documentation, I decided to bite the bullet and obliged, LITERALLY 10 minutes after sending my financial documentation (which was more than enough to qualify for their listed property) they responded saying that they offered the place to someone else. They then tried recommending another of their properties which made absolutely no sense as they knew exactly which property I was interested in. Why ask me for my financial information if the property I was inquiring about was already spoken for. VERY DODGY STUFF BY THIS COMPANY. They're not very responsive and seem very unprofessional. I would stay away as there are more credible rental management companies in the DC area. STAY AWAY!!!!
I lived her 13 years ago ....and I see nothing has changed mice infestation good lore smh get rid of them old heaters because that's the problem wow just can't believe people still are going through this
I have lived here for four years roaches and mice are your co renters. I had to look at the pictures twice because my until looks nothing like these pics. The hallways are ran down always have people laying in the all ways. I would strongly recommend moving somewhere else other then these ran down apartments. You cant use the laundry after 5 they lock the door. So if you have a job don't depend on washing your clothes in the laundry machine. Waste of money and your time.
During my two years of living here as a resident nothing about my stay here was pleasant. The unit was mice infested and was always noisy during late hours of the night. i would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone particularity those who have small children like myself it is unsafe and unsanitary during my two year stay .save your self the time and keep looking
