Property Ratings at Cyrene Apartments
We lived at Cyrene for over two years in the past, love the building and the area, if not the noise :)
The building itself is great. The outside construction and lack of green space or grass would be my concern in recommending it to others
It's a nice building with good amenities, but the constant construction in the neighborhood is irksome. The rates don't necessarily reflect this.
Aside from two weeks without hot water, everything else was great. The maintenance crew is responsive, amenities are clean and leasing staff was friendly. It was an amazing 4 years.
Stunning views, coffee Maschine, clean, high ceilings and great appliances!
Building is well maintained. Friendly staff in the past (hope that continues?). Aside from no dog wash station, amenities are great - gorgeous roof, kitchen that is free to book, package room, 24 hour security.
The tour was very unpleasant. We made an appointment a day prior to the tour, but the tour guy made things difficult for us that made us go up and down the elevator and back to his office each time without access key to the assigned units and amenities.

Arguably the best apartment & building I've ever lived in... and I move a lot! I've lived in all kinds of apartments and have really bad luck a lot of the time. I've been burned in the past with big management groups, so I'm always a bit leery. Cyrene has the benefits of a large management group, but with the staff and community you'd find at a tiny locally-owned building. It's a brand new building with top of the line appliances, great attention to detail (like USB outlets), and the nicest staff- which really has a huge impact on your day-to-day life. Whenever I had any little issue (like not knowing how to work my dryer when I moved in), the maintenance staff was always immediately on it, usually within just an hour or so, and were incredibly patient and helpful. The staff downstairs always felt like friendly neighbors, know everyone's name, even everyone's dogs name lol. They throw parties, never act put out to help, and go out of their way just to be sociable and welcoming. It felt like I was back in the South. They really put a lot of effort in to building a community. This was the first apartment building in years where I knew I could go knock on a neighbor's door to borrow a hammer or cup of sugar (yes, it's the "Southern" in me lol). Right after I moved in, I had to go on a very abrupt trip and had no one to check in on my cat - I panicked and went downstairs begging for help - they genuinely cared and immediately started making calls to help me. It's the kind of service you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. I know they aren't required to do half of what they do. The staff in a building can make or break your experience. Cyrene's staff is unbeatable. This building is like the 10 unit little building I was in in Savannah, GA where everyone oozed Southern charm and compassion.. but Cyrene also has a killer location, unbeatable rooftop view, modern fixtures, and is in the best city in the world. :P I had to leave to take care of my papaw, but as soon as I'm back in Seattle, Cyrene will be my home again! :)
