This place wants your rent but nothing else.Been here 6 years !! Heatherwood maintenance determined that my Dishwasher was not leaking with out running a drop of water through it...must be a miracle !! My oven wouldnt light so they replaced my oven with a soiled used oven with exactly the same problem. But this one they said is working perfecly because maintenance tried once and it actually lit. so no concerns for when i wont light, maintenance says it works fine...another miracle !! So if you too want to witness zero maintenance miracles you should move here. By the way I know of one that will be available real soon !!
I’m thinking of moving here , I CANNOT if there are roaches.
The colony park team is absolutely amazing. Shay, Cindy and Nicole the manager are so helpful with anything I need. All of maintenance is always there when I need anything done in my apartment. I look forward to continuing living in my wonderful apartment.

DO NOT BOTHER MOVING HERE. My husband and I have been loyal tenants for 4 years and for the past 2 years it has been horrible. This management does not do anything when you voice concern on your living situation. There are a bunch of drug addicts that live here. All hours of the day and night different cars and people come in and out of the apartments. One neighbor overdosed , cops were called and management did nothing about it. This is a safety issue that has been brought up and it has been ignored. My neighbor removed their bottom door knob on their own and replaced it with a SOCK so anyone can enter that apartment. Cops are called into the complex everyday! This place is the absolute worse. This place is not worth all this money even the amenities and appliances are out dated. Management has not reached out for any type of accommodation. PLEASE Save your money and go elsewhere!

maintenance staff is the best. grounds are kept in great shape, the amenities you cant find anywhere else. they have everything your family can ask for
The complex is nice, being there's a pool, playground, small basketball/soccer/hockey courts, tennis court, pond, clubhouse, etc. I would have given a better rating if it were around the clock gated to prevent non-residents from just coming in & using the before mentioned facilities. Basketball after 9pm is too noisy. Also, we smell somebody smoking or vaping cannabis products outside & through our bathroom vent on a daily basis. Not to worried about us outside but there are children around most of the time. The smell coming from our bathroom is another matter. We WILL be reporting this to the rental office, corporate offices, & the superintendent.
Management has what they call a "bug list" let that sink in. There is so many problems with bugs in this community that you have to put yourself on a list to have it dealt with. They also think that living with 20 plus cockroaches are considered "standard living conditions" Management has been notified many times of the problem but I guess they have too many other "bug listers" to deal with the "less infested apartments" DO NOT MOVE HERE. Many other sites have terrible reviews so please don't get fooled into believing the ones on this site.

Nasty infestation of roaches all over the community. They say the fix the problem but never really do. Highly recommend moving literally anywhere else

Hello, I am leaving in this community for past 5 years. It was great and I used to love here. But now since past 2 years not feeling so safe. Specially with Kids. Younger kids gets bullied and sometimes gets hit by few other teenage kids group. Sometimes elderly people gets bullied as well with same teenage kids group. Everyday police complains occurs, but police cant take any action as they were , they asked to talk to Management. We also talked to Colony park management several times, but they are not taking any action against such kids or their parents. Today same teenage kids, sexually harassed one minor girl. Hope this time Heatherwood community do take an action.

My son needed a place to live that would accept 2 large dogs, so I gave up my home and started to look for a smaller apartment. I have a 28lb dog myself and was getting very discouraged trying to find a place that would fit all of my belongings and welcome my little dog. The apartment I found at Heatherwood Community is a 1 bedroom with 5 closets and storage under the stairs, with a gas stove. Needless to say all of my stuff fit beautifully and it felt like home immediately. I can also park my car in front of my place. The maintenance men came by to make sure that I was happy with everything was in working order. They also keep the grounds beautiful. I couldn't be happier.
Moved into Colony Park a month ago. Everything about the process was so easy and the complex is amazing. Beautifully manicured pool, tennis court and gym are all in perfect condition. All the employees are wonderful and apartment was well maintained before we got here and in great condition. 1 bedroom executive is the perfect size for us. So glad we choose this complex and highly recommend it!
Apartment is great and well maintained. The facilities are awesome. All issues fixed on time. FORGET about your security deposit whatever the condition you can maintain, they will find silly reasons to take it back. They keep increasing the rent every year (50 - 100).
they should allow dogs over 30 pounds... they allow 2 dogs UNDER 30 pounds each... which makes no sense. they should allow people to KEEP their pets.. NOT PET FRIENDLY at all.
The office staff is very helpful, very clean and updated. As soon as a two bedroom becomes available I will be filling out an application.
Apartment is fine no noise peaceful and well maintained with good facilities.
