Property Ratings at City North
I couldn’t be happier with my move to North City! Kade in the office went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I love my apartment, the community, and the location. The grounds and the property are well taken care of. The staff is awesome! North City is a great pace to call home.
Lived here 3 years and we love it…nice community and staff is friendly and easy to work with . Excited to renew and upgrade to bigger apartment soon.
1 pool not opened until almost the end of July for the second year in a row and the other not open the past 3 summers. Property spent funds on landscape and paint for buildings but residents want the pools open much sooner.
From the very beginning I loved City North Apartments and what they had to offer! The property manager, Kade, was absolutely amazing and was very informative!
The apartments are quiet for the most part and there hasn’t been any major incidents but the premises seem a bit outdated and the units may need to be remodeled. They should offer power washing and patio clean up assistance for those of us who can’t do it ourselves. Other than that it is a much better place to live than other communities out there.
Danielle was extremely kind and helpful in my move-in process. The apartment unit was perfect and having a management team that does a wonderful job reassures me I picked the right property.
It would be 5 stars, but we have 2 pools here and neither one of them are open. Only 1 has been open the last 2 years. When I called, they said they were working on it. I never see anyone at the pool working on it opening. It just really sucks when you live in walking distance to a pool that you can’t use.
The community is great, everything is close by. Walmart is less than five minutes away, and there’s an Albertsons less than two minutes away. There are churches all over, everything is very convenient. The leasing office was amazing. I paid and got a lease in less than 24 hours. The staff at the leafing office is amazing, Maintenance is very speedy with their repairs
Easy to fill out application, pay deposit and move in. Danielle has been such a good help with the process. Place looks beautiful and definitely not much noise, laundry room was clean and easy to use!
Been here almost 3 years now. Been pretty good to us. Cheaper than most places around Longview, they keep it clean around here. Don’t like the rocks they replaced most of the grass with. Wish the pool was open a lot sooner in the summer time.
Great apartments, zero noise, great staff! Honestly couldn’t be any happier here, everyone is very friendly. I have so many stores close by and that’s great.

Positive: Grounds are clean, maintenance staff are speedy with repairs Need improvement: Open the pools May 1st. This is Texas and it’s Hot ??. Pools are treated as optional but for me I would live in apartments without a pool. Please have the pools open earlier. Thank you!
The process was easy and efficiently done. The appartment is nice and clean with beautiful scenery. This is a quiet neighborhood. It has nice location for shopping and restaurants.

The environment as a whole is so quiet and clean. The staff are so accomodating answer all the question and queries we need as we transfer. Ms. Danielle is so nice. The apartment was clean, newly renovated.
Everyone is friendly, my dogs enjoyed their new space and environment. Maintenance is very helpful and fast to get anything fixed. The apartment is so beautiful and has really good space.

It’s been an ok experience, been here 2 & 1/2 years now. it’s one of the cheaper options around town but has increased price every year. the maintenance team is 10/10. They’ve been removing most of the grass with rocks which is ugly and has no purpose. They replaced the washing machines with tap to pay which only works half the time, is more expensive than before, and occasionally double chargers you too. They hate you even looking at your car cause you’re “working on it” and “breaking lease violations”. I used to put 5 stars but it seems this place isn’t going in a good direction
Great location in the city, pet friendly, quick response from property managers and maintenance. Some apartments are updated others are partially. Some fixtures are outdated and could use an update.
its ok loved it until the incident happened and nothing was done about it. Also, the pools have been awful in the summer. The new management company does not care.
We’ve had a pretty good time here, just renewed our lease for another year. Had some issues with Main office not being lenient but other then that not noisy and affordable to live at.
Just moved here and already love it. So far all the neighbors weve met are nice and talkative. The office people are so sweet. Its very peaceful.

Currently having to live with a persistent pest problem. So uncomfortable knowing you have bugs you can't get rid of. Even with extra treatment and weekly pest control spray, I can still count on seeing roaches, in my kitchen of all places. This hasn't always been the case, but it's been going on for too long. I have to use extreme measures like storing dishes in my fridge/dishwasher because I've seen them crawling in cabinets and drawers. I keep my home pretty clean and even more so now. I have cans of spray in just about every room so I can kill them immediately. Hard to feel at home when you have to share your space with bugs.
Decent place so far. Seems to be a good value for the money with updated amenities that are well taken care of. Office staff is friendly and helpful even if sometimes slow to respond.

My number one issue is the lack of decent Internet.
I like the location , the layout of my apartment. The management Ana maintenance staff are all friendly and efficient. I just wish they could keep the dog poop off of the grounds!
We have lived here for 20 + years with no problems with staff or neighbors
Management is quick to take care of any problems that might come up.
My biggest praise is the prompt service repair and also the office staff. We were also greeted warmly when we moved in. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
The laundry facilities are awful. The machines need to be replaced and we either need a coin machine to get change or the machines should take debit cards.
Great attentive staff and maintenance. The property is very well maintained and residents are very friendly. Great access to restaurants and shopping. Also, the apartment is very quiet and calm.
I just like it here. Maintenance is always.on point and issues are handled in a timely manner.
My hesitation has nothing to do with the maintenance team. They have been great. My hesitation is around other aspects. I still like this property but it isn't as clean and quiet as it used to be. Not necessarily the complex but some of the residents are not as thoughtful and respectful of others.

Every one is easy to get along with
The apartments are fine and clean. My only complaint is the tenants do not pick up after their pets. The dog fecies are disgusting.
From day one my apartment was infested with roaches. Whether it was from it being vacant or the neighbors or previous tenants. They special treated it twice and they’re still in. It’s ridiculous. And when I try to talk to management about it. It’s a whole fiasco. Do not rent here.
Summer Lake has quickly worked to resolve any maintenance issues.
I’ve lived here in the past and I know this is the right place for me, and anyone else I knew.
Would recommend this apt complex because I like it here.
To much not being taken care of, like the poils and the weight room and the lights under the covered parking. I as a resident pay for these amenities but most of the time the pool is green and there is faulty equipment in the gym
Parking is limited. No hot water in kitchen, just warm. Hot water limited during winter months.
