Avoid

Avoid this property at all costs. While two bus stops are located right outside and Naylor Road Station is about a 10-minute walk away, the route involves crossing a highway and walking along a busy, unsafe road through a rough area. The neighborhood is dangerous—this is Southeast D.C., and safety is a serious concern. The building’s front door glass is often shattered, and water shut-offs due to recurring maintenance problems are frequent. The entire property reeks of cigarette smoke and cat urine, and the community is extremely inconsiderate—trash is left everywhere, loud music plays around the clock, and many residents smoke constantly in their units. The property sits on a noisy street with constant sirens from police and ambulances. Some units are even infested with rats. Basic services are often disrupted because owners reportedly fails to pay utility bills. At one point, the entire property insurance policy was canceled due to lack of funds. To make matters worse, the property is managed by EJF Real Estate, whose enforcement seems limited to emails with no real follow-through. Living here has been a complete nightmare. Please, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

My beautiful apartment that I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

I live in a beautiful condo one bedroom apartment. It is a GATED AND LOCKED COMMUNITY THAT IS MARKED FOR OUR SAFETY. It is very spacious, and I love the moldings that accompany this apartment. It has two parking lots for the tenants/owners, which is a mark for comfort. I just love it! I love it for so many reasons(1) There is a bus stop right outside my front door (2) There is a little shopping mall five minutes away. (3) Also there is a market place up the street that is marked for absolute convenience twenty minutes away IF YOU LIKE TO GET YOUR EXERCISE ON. It is close to the eating facilities and to the supermarket. I love also that it is a quiet place to live so that I can indulge in sound and sweet sleep, read my favorite articles and deeply meditate on the important things in life. Those things are extremely essential for me!
