Breakers at Windmill Lakes

My husband and I have lived here for almost a year, this is our first apartment together and we have no complaints! Our dogs absolutely love watching the ducks and playing with their new friends when they come to the fence. Not to mention all of the friendly faces who stop to admire them and give them pets. We’ve never had any issues, if a concern comes up Carlos and Valerie are quick to jump into action to handle it. I feel safe and secure and know that we are taken care of here!

I’ve lived here for years now and I absolutely love the complex and the community. Other places don’t compare and part of it is because of the awesome office management. Carlos and Valerie have repeatedly gone above and beyond for any issues or concerns we have had. They are truly dedicated to making the apartments feel like a home. The complex is calm and quiet and the apartments on the ground floor have fenced yards which is unique and awesome to have.

A great place with an amazing lake view for people to share with nature. The gym has all the items I need to excercise. I love to walk with my dog next to the lake.

Great place to live, with a beautiful lake! The sunsets looks amazing. Very quiet, great pool and bbq zone. Also, my dog loves to run in the dog park! Have a place to exercise while looking the pool and the lake is a plus! Thanks to all the stuff, they are so nice, great people!

We have lived here for several years off and on and we always come back because we really enjoy the property and apartments themselves. The apartments are spacious and updated and many have fenced in yards that really add to the home feeling. Carlos and Valery are the current management team and they have been really great from the start. They are always so receptive to any concerns we may have and are really quick to find a resolution. They truly make the renting experience so much better.

I truly value my family and I having a quiet and safe environment on a regular basis. Been here almost 5 years and everyone is respectful and nice to each other. Also management and maintenance are very reliable whenever the circumstances cause for their assistance.

I’ve been living here for a year and some months and new management isn’t all that great. My statements have been wrong and they’re now changing me a extra fee for backpay on water for my last lease. If you don’t want the headache of getting a lawyer about additional fees that’s not on your lease agreement don’t move here. It’s not worth it.

Very unique place to live. Peaceful and close to the nature.

The Breakers is a very quiet and peaceful community it’s always very clean the neighbors are very nice I would also say that it’s safe I’ve never felt scared or nervous while I’m out late. I would definitely recommend for everything that you get within the community especially the gym the packages room that it will be a great apartment to live in.

Love the community setup here at the breakers and would recommend anyone to stay here for a comfort living environment

The apts are just ok, I think they can be a little bit more clean and taken care of. The pool is always filled with leaves and dirt. On the weekends it’s always crowds at the pool. The inside of the apts are decent but not for what you pay monthly. Maintenance are good and very good and responds to request fast. The apts are a nice size and so are the balcony.

I am residence in this complex since 2004. I picked this spot because of the location and the view. However, my bedrooms have never been refreshed although I have requested. The management said that according to the policy they can't do it because I was living inside. According to them I had to leave the unit and lease it again after refreshing! Nevertheless the bathrooms, kitchen and livingroom were renovated.

Good location; maintenance and lawn care are excellent.

Apartment complex is quiet and welcoming. Office staff is very kind and helpful. Parking is a little tight but its fine. Pool areas should be thoroughly cleaned along with steps to enter units due to multiple spider webs and duck feathers stuck in them everywhere. Also bug issues inside of units is a problem its hard to get rid of them. But overall I have a good experience here.

Great place to live from the leasing agent, to the apartment manager to maintenance. Im really pleased with the location, environment and service Ive received from day one.

Great apartment complex! Excellent management! Front office personnel always ready to answer any questions or help you out.

So far, I have only been here for a month. Cristina and Sara has been amazing with the move in process and maintenance have been doing a good job so far. Cant say much right now since I only been here a short time but things seem to be going good right now. I would recommend.

The property is excellent community to live l love the lake the walking trail and fact l can go and fish l don't have to travel 20 miles.

The Breakers at Windmill Lakes is beautiful, The area is beautiful and the time I spent here so far is amazing. They give us many activities to do here at home and always make sure that we have fast maintenance and make sure we are having the best experience possible.

Awesome place to live

I have lived here since June 2017 and they have done nothing but improve this property! Managers are easy to work with and always available! I have been very impressed with the look and feel of the place since the upgrades!

I love living at The Breakers. The lake view is amazing and the community managers are great. I mostly enjoy having the fitness center and the pool within walking distance.

My overall experience here at The Breakers at Windmill Lakes has truly been great! This apartment complex is nice, comfortable, and peaceful. The management and maintenance team provide great customer service and are very tentative to my needs and concerns. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex!

Quiet, peaceful community. It was my perfect first place to start on my own. Ive lived here for over a year and I hvae never had an issue with my living situation in any way.

The Breakers ar Windmill lakes are a very nice and unique apartment complex. It is peaceful very clean and beautiful place. Nobody can imagine that in this area is a beautiful place like this. I am living in this apartment complex for 15 years.

I just moved in and I must say it's been the worst experience. This complex was recommended due to its location and was the better option amongst others. So where do I begin. The model apt that was showned was exquisite. I made my decision based on that and the great lake view. However, when I moved into my apt. it was nothing like the model. I decided to lease the upgraded apt but the one I moved in appears to be a bit older. The faux wooden floors have specs of white paint all over them. Management told me about that before I moved in and committed to taking care of it but they never did. I even brought it to there attention after moving in and they have yet to correct it. The air vents are filthy dirty. They are dust and moldy. The sliding doors that's attached to the balcony are dirty and cloudy. Speaking of the balcony, there are cobwebs and cocoons of various insects attach to the walls. The shower head leaks from the ceiling into the tub while I am showering. Light bulbs are missing in the bedroom that are attached to the ceiling fan. On top of all of this, they try to cover a musty smell with a fragrance that lasted a few days. I really want to like these apartments and hate to write a bad review but for over $1000 a month for a one-bedroom, something has to be said. I reported my problems to management and nothing hasn't been done. A thorough clean would've suffice. Unfortunately, I signed a 12-month lease. Unless these problems are corrected, I won't recommend these apartments to anyone. Disappointed, Tenant!

I went in to look for an apartment and I am reconsidering. the assistant manager here has a very nasty and unpleasant attitude. she is not welcoming and her demeanor and the way she speaks to you is unprofessional. I am needing to speak with the actual manager and owner of the complex.

I lived here for about a year and I loved how quiet it was. Being out of the busy street, and a relatively small apartment complex made it a little more comforting, I moved around the area due to work. I would leave and come home at different hours of the day/night and never saw anything strange or scary, except a raccoon once! The gym and the pool were pretty cool too, I loved that it was open 24 hrs. and never packed or anything. The management and maintenance crew were easy to talk to and got to everything in a timely manner, didn't call like crazy but when I did they would fix everything. I had a renovated unit and I loved how slick everything looked. I moved out due to some personal reasons and even then the staff was super friendly about it, if I was ever in the market for an apartment again I would definitely give this one another chance.
