Property Ratings at Berkshire Santal
This property is beautiful and the staff and management put in a lot of effort to keep the property upkept. There are residents that don't like the strict off lease dog policy and tend to give the office a headache and write bad reviews. Since Berkshire took over in 2022 the gates are working, pool is always clean and the landscaping is awesome! I've lived here for 4 years and don't plan on moving anytime soon.

The management of this place says the only way they know how to manage this complex is to have residents photograph and record one another. The management says they pride themselves on this lazy tactic. If you enjoy the nanny state this place will feel like home.

Would not recommend living here. Very Rude and dismissive staff
They sell sell sell this place as “luxury” and upcharge everything including a pest service monthly despite the dozens of bugs (so many pill bugs! And also spiders and earwigs) that get into my apartment weekly. Moving in was a nightmare and the apartment was not clean whatsoever. Even now I can steam and scrub the floors every day and still get grime off of them. Maintenance has been great and very responsive but it doesn’t compensate for the cheap washer/dryer that are destroying my clothes, or the hard water that is hurting my silverware, dishes, and my hair. The management team is also repetitively sending emails about more restrictions and fines to be handed out like a recent one saying if we had anything unattractive on our patios it would be confiscated at our cost (eg, towels, curtains, unattractive furniture, bikes, kayaks). They also demand you wear hideous rubber bracelets to use the pool area. The nature trails everyone loves so much now have posted signs everywhere and there is a massive amount of very loud, disruptive construction going on at the edge of the complex with no explanation from management or indication of when it will stop. The common areas are dirty and the quality is surface level. It’s a disappointment to pay so much and get so little.
