Barcroft Apartments

I have to say that the customer service here is absolutely disappointing. The management team is unresponsive, unhelpful, and lacks basic professionalism. Any time I have an issue—whether it’s maintenance, billing, or general concerns—it takes forever to get a response. When they do respond, they are dismissive and act like they’re doing you a favor instead of addressing legitimate concerns. The front office staff is rude and unapproachable, and they rarely follow through on their promises. Maintenance requests go unanswered for days or even weeks, and when they finally show up, the work is rushed and incomplete. For the amount of rent we pay, I expect at least a basic level of courtesy and efficiency, but instead, residents are treated like an inconvenience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a stress-free living experience. Avoid if you can! ? 1/5 Stars

Chaos chaos and chaos it's all you get if you move here. Form management to maintenance all the way to towing. Nasty buildings dirty laundry rooms and good luck dealing with management. One of the most crooked places to come into. Stay safe stay away.

Since gates Hudson takes in charge to manage barcroft. I’ve had an awful experience with this apartment management. They keep raising the rent multiple times, yet nothing has improved—no modernization, no proper maintenance, and zero upgrades to justify the increase. To make matters worse, they changed the rent payment from monthly to yearly without the renters’ consent, which is completely unacceptable. The roads are in terrible condition, making it difficult to drive in and out. On top of that, there’s a serious rodent problem—mice are everywhere, and management does nothing about it. Parking is also a nightmare—there are no proper spots, so good luck finding a place for your car. This place is a disaster, and management clearly doesn’t care about its tenants. Avoid this place at all costs!

Muy mal servicio llevo días queriendo aplicar y las mujeres de la oficina asta le dicen a uno que no pierda el tiempo y le ponen el precio de $100 cada aplicación le dan cita a uno y no le ayudan mejor le dicen a uno de un solo que no califica sin siquiera dedicarse ah ver los papeles

super strict with outside , no parties , no music, kids can’t play outside , ac is in the living room only , rooms get super hot in the summer you need at least 2 fans to cool down, big roaches and mice all the time and maintenance doesn’t come fix pest control. yes pricing is good so unless you can deal with everything is good

Barcroft is located in South Arlington, approximately 3.5 miles from downtown DC. It was built in 1938 as part of the prospected housing of government workers for The Pentagon. The apartments are spacious and soundproof. They are one of the lesser-expensive garden-style complexes in the area. Great for a first-time renter on a tight budget.

I have lived at Barcroft for a little over a year now and they are fantastic. The staff is very nice and if any issues occur they are on top of things. The floorplans are very well laid out. I live in a 660 sq ft apt and it seems bigger most days. The complex is clean and there is public transportation just around the corner. The laundry rooms always seem empty, I have never had a problem doing laundry regardless of the time of day. There is plenty of parking for those of us who live there at night and plenty of guest parking during the day. Guests have to park on the street (not in parking spaces in front of the buildings) overnight, but my guests have always found parking! There are no pet fees, which was a nice surprise when I got my two cats. All utilities are included and the leases are month to month. You won't find anywhere else like it! I would recommend Barcroft Apartments to anyone!
