The Aurora is an eleven story, vintage apartment building overlooking Crockett Park just north of downtown San Antonio. The architecture is a classic example of the 1930's era when attention to detail and exquisite craftsmanship were the norm. The lobby itself with the Art Deco elevator doors and the hand-carved, wooden fireplace mantle still welcome people home. There is also a spectacular ballroom with crystal chandeliers that is now used as a sunroom for those residents wanting to read or play a game of pool. For those fortunate few that call The Aurora home, community is an important part of the Active Adult lifestyle. We are small pet friendly and have plenty of parking. Just across the I-35 from Downtown San Antonio, Tobin Hill is a fast-growing section of the city filled with a curious mix of Neoclassical and Craftsman homes.
