These apartments are in a great location. So close to everything you need, great schools.
It is my pleasure to submit my review on Aspen Forest Apartment Homes... key word HOME. This has been my home for 10 years now, and I fully expect it to be for the next 10 years as well. For 10 years we have experienced a safe family-oriented living community with a consistent management team that has always focused on the good of all. There are a few key points that keep us renewing our lease every year. They include, but are not limited to: * Dependable maintenance * Quick replies to request made * Keeping up community standards on the property upgrades to the community that benefit us all (particularly the new modern bus stop for the children's school bus, keeping them safe on their way to and from school) * Fair and reasonable rent increases when signing the next year's rent contract * Accommodating personal needs - I have become disabled while living here and requested a small ramp to be installed at my door to facilitate easier entry into my home. No questions asked! It was done in a heartbeat! * Last but not least, Communication here is dependable whether it is about local emergencies, weather emergencies, or in complex situations we need to be aware of... we are clearly informed and kept up to date as it progresses. They actually came door to door to check on us during one particularly bad storm. Who could ask for more? Not me! This is my home in every sense of the word. I highly recommend Aspen Forest Apartment HOMES to anyone looking for a safe and pleasant place to call Home. Oh! I forgot to mention the Park! Yes, we have a beautiful private park for everyone to enjoy year-round. Amazing grace!
The apartment management and team have done a wonderful job to make sure we’re taken care of during our stay. They have been polite from the start and treated us like family. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone I care for.

I don’t normally write reviews on anything but I have recently experienced a few things here that I feel should be shared. Though these apartments are very nice and definitely decent in pricing as well, I don’t feel like this is the home for me. This place isn’t very traditional all they have is a park with a few benches and a field which isnt bad but not my cup of tea. My roommate had called the leasing office to discuss the treatment they’d be doing in our place but never responded to his calls, that same day they called me regarding said treatment. My roommate is on the lease just as I am which makes no sense as to why his call wouldn’t be prioritized. They have to come into your place a lot for little things which I’ve never experienced before but it seems way too frequent for my liking. Assigned parking claims to fit 4 cars yet it is sooo tight whenever you have people who have other cars next to you. Comfortably you could probably fit 3 but there are people who will park as close to the line as they can. Lastly, the walls seem very thin. So far I’ve been able to hear my downstairs neighbors TV, people from the next unit even talking, etc. Just stuff I’ve never experienced before while renting. Would look elsewhere.
This place is great for me and my little family! We have a private yard which I have never seen anywhere else before! It gives a nice, private, homey feel and with having young kids it is perfect for them! Since living here, the staff and maintenance have been nothing short of awesome. Everyone here is extremely kind and fast to any issues you may have. They have staff keeping the property clean and adding lots of beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere. It isn’t too busy or loud, it stays fairly quiet and I feel very safe here. It’s also close to lots of food and grocery stores and entertainment too! I would, and have, recommended Aspen Forest Apartments to many people I know and will continue to do so. You will not regret choosing to live here, it really is a great place to live.
I’ve lived in Aspen Forest for about 3 months now and response times for maintenance requests or simple questions are fast. The community is clean and feels safe, and signs of ongoing improvements are visible. I appreciate the open communication I can have with the office, and the maintenance personnel I have interested with have been professional and personable. So far this has been a great place to live!
The area is beautiful, affordable and near to shopping centers. Great schools close by and great people. Hands down the best apartments around this area.
I have lived here for about six years now. I love the location. The apartment is lovely. They remodeled it, so it looks more modern. Covered parking, so I don’t have to worry about looking for a parking spot. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I love the park here it's so beautiful and green.
No mater who we contact in the office, our issues are always dealt with in a timely and friendly manner. Maintenance is quick and excellent with their work!

I have been living here about 2 1/2 years, and I love it.. i love the location, my backyard and patio is perfect!! Everyone in the front office is very nice and helpful.. any issues or questions they are very quick to respond!! Excited about the new upgrades!

I've lived in this community for almost a year and I've really enjoyed my time here. The community is nice and quiet and they are also doing many upgrades this year including brand new roofs and electric fireplaces in all the apts :)

It is a complex that doesn't have the apartment feel. Quiet place to live and the floorplans offer a lot of storage space. Recommend it to anyone who wants to live peacefully without sacrificing their wallet.
I am writing this review to warn potential future residents. DO NOT MOVE INTO TO THESE APARTMENTS! I see that this complex has a lot of positive reviews, and they are in a good location and in a safe area, but for the reasons which I will mention down below I will still be giving a negative review. I have been living here for over a year and a half. This place has the worst noise insulation, it is none existent and if you are like me and happen to have the misfortune of living with inconsiderate and rude neighbors then you are screwed. My downstairs neighbor is so loud and disruptive that living here has become a nightmare. They'll play music so loudly that the floor actually vibrates, and at random times too. Like on weekdays at 9pm, almost 10pm. The worst part is that I have spoken with this person about the noise issue, and they always say that they will try to be more quiet, but they keep repeating the same pattern of behavior. Its almost as if they don't care or at least that is the impression I get. This person always seems to be having a get together with their family and friends or some of kind of party. Again, if these buildings had better noise insulation I wouldn't mind as much, but frankly its trash. They should really invest some money in updating these buildings. Another thing to note is that they use to fumigate the apartments every month or so, but for the past few months they haven't fumigated at all. I sincerely don't know what they use all the rent money for. Every once in awhile they will make some type of update, but quite honestly they are not that common. The only other positive, apart from location and area, that I can give these apartments is that rent is relatively low compared to other apartments in this area, and that it includes trash and water. However, I still don't think living here is worth it. I would rather pay more money and live somewhere with better noise insulation and neighbors than continue living here. I don't recommend to anyone these apartments. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are not going to get that here.

My experience was great! The apartments have beautiful layouts , the rooms are large with nice windows. Always quick to respond to any issue. Is maintained very well and is very nice quiet community. Amazing staff, from the leasing agent to the maintenance, everyone is super helpful and attentive. We had to move otherwise there's no other place we would rather live.
My parents live in the complex. They had moved out few years back and decided to rent back here again. Which the apartments have improve. They have very nice wood flooring and a private yard, and community is quiet. They haven't had any issues with management, and maintenance gets requests done in a timely matter.
The apartments are quiet and the yard is a game changer
These apartments seem great at first look but be warned, you're in for a world of headaches after move in. Wendy is extremely passive aggressive, sarcastic, and condescending when she speaks with you about ANYTHING. Complete ego trip. They are currently in the process of updating and renovating the complex so rent is skyrocketing. When I moved out I was paying almost DOUBLE what I signed our first lease for. I questioned this and the answer I got was, "This is how things work and your rent will continue to increase every year you live here." WHAT?! I understand how these things go but come on; those apartments, which are falling apart when you take a good look, are NOT worth that much?! Basically at least a $100 increase in rent every year, guaranteed. But hey, that may have just been my experience because I wasn't hispanic, which seems to matter a lot here. Under the guise of "help" and "keeping the community looking great" the front office just finds every little thing to fine you for too. I will second what another reviewer said - if you want to move from a run down unit into one of their "upgraded" ones you'll have to completely move out, pay the application fee, and all the security deposits again for who know's what reason? Half of the time it didn't feel like my AC wasn't even working. It ran nearly 100% of the time because the windows are so old and the AC units are of equal age. This place was just so frustrating to live at. I am so happy I am out of there. I will say though, my neighbors were fantastic, the people in the community were kind and looked out for each other. Its the management that is TERRIBLE.
There is so much wrong with this place of residency I don't know where to start. From the management harassing you to the lack of keeping their end of a situation. Lets begin with I COULD NOT STAND LIVING HERE BECAUSE THE MAINTENANCE WAS FILTHY AND THE MAINTENANCE CREW ARE THIEVES!!! When contacting the property they state they will review footage and come back "empty handed" and don't notify you until YOU CALL THEM! They NEVER REACH OUT to you, they have third parties (collectors) do so. So I have a balance of $2500 to pay (but a tenant rented the unit which lease states relieves you of that rent) but no they don't tell you that. WHEN I CALLED TO MAKE THE CLAIM AND INITIATE PAYMENTS THE BALANCE WENT TO $1600 I witnessed the tenant move in with my own two eyes since my neighbor was my friend and we were there BBQing. Long story short they stole over $1,000 of things out my unit after I moved my large furniture out in November now why would they do such a thing if i paid my rent in November and didn't turn in my keys until December? Because their tenants don't matter to them. Nancy was supposed to send me a breakdown of payment plan so I could pay the "move out" but never did then all of a sudden I get a call from collectors. When calling to get info from Wendy (SO RUDE!!) she was so sarcastic and all she would say is there's nothing she can do its in collections, FINE! I already took care of them with no issues (won't be on my credit but thanks for the enthusiasm Wendy!) Then she has the AUDACITY to say I didn't keep up with my end of the deal, when the one who didn't was the property manager so I ask her to put in a request to pull all the calls since every call begins with "these calls are recorded for quality and training purposes" and she says no one's ever taken it that far.... OK BUT I AM SO you can hear YOUR property manager saying she would do what she never did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY FROM THE BEGINNING THE EXPERIENCE WAS DISGUSTING! I MEAN THEY TOWED MY CAR OUT MY OWN PARKING SPOT DUE TO LACK OF TRAINING THEIR EMPLOYEES (PLACED MY STICKER ON THE FRONT LIKE ERIKA THE PERSON WHO I SIGNED MY LEASE WITH STATED TO DO).

Lived here for 21 years. They treat new tenants to everything but the people that have been giving them money for years still live in a old run down apartment. For you to upgrade you have to move out and re-apply which is bull. They are very picky about who they help and who they don't. Disrespectful management. Service isn't 24hrs like promised, they refuse to fix anything. Management they had 10yrs ago was spot on.
I have been living here since 2013 and is very pleased. Affordable, safe place to live. Pleasant and friendly staff. Super fast response to maintenance response.

The location makes it easy to get anywhere in Tomball within a few minutes. Maintenance crews are quick to respond to complaints. We've always felt safe. Overall a good place to live.

The area has great prices for a very affordable price. Don't expect any luxuries or lots of comfort. However, its very spacious and the maintenance people are very quick to respond.
