I’m a tenant and my truck was towed which I had to pay $380 to get it out. It’s disgusting how these people purposely set you up. It’s also a big coincidence that this happen when I decline to renew my lease. I wouldn’t recommend anybody over here. It rains in my apartment and the apartment itself is not in an honorable condition with much more going on. Me and my whole family will be leaving “the barons” very soon. Don’t settle here..or you’ll be waiting on the next 11 months to pass by as I’ve done so!

These apartments are not worth what’s being charged at all. Tenants are being charged at renovated prices yet apartments are not up to date. Nothing that’s supposed to work ever works. Maintenance does a poor job at repairs. its ALWAYS something wrong!! RUN!!!

Do not rent here . If your neighbors smoke marijuana your house and clothes will smell like marijuana (SKUNK). The neighbors leave bags of little and big trash leaking in front of there doors (on days there is no trash pickup). The smell and the breezeways are disgusting, track all types of germs in your home. Both pools have been closed all summer long - they claim they waiting on a Inspection. This was the same issue last year. Why pay all this money for rent and cant use the amenities. The work out room is only open 8-5. Am i crazy or dont most people have a job 8-5. The neibors and i are sick of it . U call and complain and they tell us all, "We will check into it"!!!! Never followup
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! They take their online payment portal down and have no night drop. The lease agreement says rent has to be paid by the 3rd day NOT 3RD DAY WHILE THE OFFICE IS STILL OPEN! I'm being charged a late fee and they will not compromise as they did not make accommodations for rent to be delivered after office ours SINCE THEY SHUT DOWN THE PAYMENT PORTAL!! They are rude, very unprofessional and have no empathy whatsoever!

If i could post a negative 10 I would !!!!!!! Unless u can do repairs on your own/ handy DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Look at the reviews we (renters) have put in maintenance request last year that STILL have not been completed. When you call everyone just takes your name and number, say they will look into it and/or update work order and weeks go by and you still dont hear anything. My entire building will be contacting corporate office to sign A petition, get our family attorney involved to be able to get out of our leases without them attaching all those extra fees and charges. Documentation beats conversation. The breezeways are nasty and never cleaned. People leave trash wasted/leaking from there bags up and down stairs and no one clean it. So u have to take your shoes off to not drag filth in your apartment. Bags of trash are just left by the streets its an eye sore . You cant invite guest over without them getting high from the smell of marijuana that u have to walk thru to even get to your apartment. I never stayed in the Projects/Low income housing but this is what this place feels must be like. Rent increased over $200 and we can get simple maintenance request done is disgusting. We all need to ban together and Call Fox 4 news , Have attorneys assist us getting out of lease and tell everyone we know not to move over here. We are highly upset, we pay on time , keep our places clean, quiet and we cant even get the bare minimum.

This apt gives an illusion! It looks nice until you realize it’s not. The cabinets are extremely outdated and the grounds is covered in dog poop and trash. Ahhh the trash! It’s everywhere! And the walls are so thin! You can hear everything! AND BUGSSSSS. I had roaches, then I had fleas, then I had mosquitos! straight up mosquitos flying out of my bathroom. They let me move into a roach infested apartment with a new born. It’s was horrible. Yeah, don’t live here.
This complex has black mold, which the manager is well aware of. The residents constantly harassed me, my guests, and other residents. Management is well aware of this as well. Very unsafe premises. Pungent marijuana stench throughout the property and ohmygosh, i have never witnessed so many drug deals in my life until i moved here.. Please for the sake of all that is good in the world, do not move here. Floor plans are extremely overpriced, what you pay for is not what you get. Unless you like paying for black mold. Oh and they will fine you once you move out if you leave trash because their trash bins are always full, so if you leave it next to the dumpster because it wont fit, you get fined. If you cant fit it in there in fear of a fine, you get more fines! New management is a joke, they will not give you the time of day once you sign that overpriced lease. So if you do decide to move in to this poop infested hole, good luck!
I will be going back to speak to another agent on Monday. I scheduled an appointment for 3:30 today and called to confirm they’d be there to show me the apartment. I walked in and was rudely told they stopped showing apartments even though they confirmed the appointment 15 minutes prior to showing up. Prayfully this isn’t a reflection of the company and just the woman who was there at the time. I’ll make sure to update the process here.

The "security" gate was broken about 80% of the time we lived there. My car was towed after about 9 months of living there and parking in the same area. It cost me $300 to get out of the tow lot plus some because I had to call into work. When the office opened, I tried to talk to them about it and they wouldn't admit their mistake. They never paid me back for my car being towed and they did not discount my rent. Also, this was the first time my dog got fleas. They never treated the area and we spent hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of the infestation. I tried contacting the office about it and they never got back to me. We tried taking our dog to the dog park, but we couldn't stay there long because it smelled like dog and cat pee so strongly my eyes started watering. People never picked up after their dogs, there were always parties at the pool, and trash was always everywhere. We had issues of spiders and June bugs getting into our apartment and we had a wasp problem on our back patio. It would take them the whole day, if not two days to pick up trash. There was literally a CHAIR in the tree next to my apartment for the entire time I lived there. We finally move out and now they are trying to charge me $600 for cleaning when my husband and I spent weeks cleaning that apartment after we moved out (we moved out a month early, but still paid utilities and rent). My deposit should cover anything else that was left over, but miraculously it only covers half of what they are asking for. There are many other apartments near by that would be much better choices for many reasons. If you rent here, you are doing yourself a huge disservice and wasting your own money. PLEASE RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Our team works diligently in keeping the property clean and maintained. Trash sometimes presents a challenge when it is placed outside on the incorrect day. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with our gate and the permit parking program. Unfortunately, gate malfunctions do happen from time to time at apartment communities. If a problem with the gate occurs, we work closely with our gate repair vendor for an expedited repair. Having your car towed is frustrating and we're so sorry this happened to you. Our permit parking program has enhanced our community by reducing congestion in the lots, which provides our Residents better enjoyment of the community. Residents are required to display the appropriate parking permit and visitors must park in designated spaces. One of the great features about The Barons is we have expansive green space and our Residents love taking their pets for walks. We're sorry to hear that your pet experienced fleas and we're glad that our professional pest control provider treats this pest for free. Back in early 2016 when we rented a 2 bedroom, at the Barons, the management was fairly good, but as of this moment they do not even deserve a single star. Yesterday, I work up around midday to check on my 2 year old twins and a black snake came out of my babies room slithering on the floor towards the kitchen. Chills ran through my spine and I was traumatized by the fact that the snake was in my babies room. We called the leasing office several times but nobody picked the phone. We left an emergency voice mail and that was not returned either. After my husband had finally killed the snake, My husband decided to drive to the leasing office, only to find out that 2 management staff were in the office and yet nobody was picking up the phone calls whatsoever. Needless to say, the so called manager told my husband that the mentenance guy will come take a look at the apartment and that the pest control will not be coming to carry out any pest prevention measures until 2 weeks as of now. About 30 minutes later nobody had showed up and I decided to drive to the leasing office myself. As I explained the terrifying situation to the manager, she stood there stone cold, looking at me as though having a snake in my babies room was suppose to be normal and didn't matter to her whatsoever. As I kept telling her that this was an emergency situation and someone needed to come to the apartment ASAP, she paid me no mind and made no effort to escalate the matter to where we could get immediate help. Instead, she told me that the mentenance guy we show up whenever he can to check on the matter. This is not just a snake in the house, it is a major safety issue that needed to be taken care of immediately. The manager was extremely rude and showed no urgency at all in addressing the situation. I took it upon myself to go and look for the maintenance guy and told him to leave what he was doing and come with me because there is a snake in our apartment. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied by the way the current management treat their residents. We pay too much money for the corporate office to hire such insensitive, uncivil, and condescending managers who are worthless to their residents. We pay too much rent for them not to even borther to address emergency issues with respect to safety of the residents and their children. Stay away from this apartment complex. Don't waste your money, you are renting this apartments at your own risk. Stay very far away.
We moved in June 1st. Things were not perfect when we did. We had some a/c, dishwasher, leaking, and spider/ant problems.( I know to be expected anywhere) They have done an amazing job at getting things fixed quickly. Having a 3 month old and these were things I could not deal with however I had a peace of mind with knowing they would take care of it for us. They even had our air vents cleaned!! We have taken advantage of using the gym as well and loved it. The manager Jennifer has been awesome with helping and explaining things to us and where we were at with repairs. I was nervous moving from a house but think we made an awesome decision moving here! Thank you guys for everything!!!

Me and my girlfriend, soon to be fiancé :) moved into the Barons about three months ago. Coming from a small town we were scared to live in the DFW area and the horrors we hear about Dallas traffic. However, we love it here. Great access to the major roads and we are 15 min from downtown but with non of the crazy that goes along with living in the deep middle of Dallas. Since we have been here we have partaked in a "going back to school" swim party that the Barons hosted and have enjoyed the great hospitality the staff here has shown. It's the perfect quant and cozy home we were looking for.
I LIVE IN THE BARONS APT FOR 4 YRS NOW. IT IS A QUITE PLACE TO LIVE. YOU HAVE CHOICE OF RENTING GARAGES OR CARPORTS OR NOT. YOU CAN GET I OR 2 BEDROOMS WITH OR WITHOUT FIREPLACES. IT HAS 2 POOLS AND A SMALL WEIGHT ROOM. ALSO HAS A DOGGIE PARK.CURB SIDE TRASH SERVICE 3 TIMES A WEEK.WALK IN CLOSETS. SEVERAL FLOOR PLANS TO CHOICE FROM.FAST SERVICE IF YOUR APARTMENT IS IN NEED FOR REPAIR. IT IS A LARGE COMPLEX OVER 500 UNITS.
Overall, I've had a pretty decent experience with the Barons. I believe they can do a better job with the maintenance aspect of things. We have had maintenance come on 4 different occasions just to fix the sprinkler on the balcony. Parking can also be hassle for my girlfriend because she works a late shift so when she gets home she has to park far away from the apartment.
