Property Ratings at Amelia Farmers Market
I have contacted the leasing office on many occasions with no reply. Our garage is always left open, entries have been broken for over a year, we are told we have security- I believe they only work twice a week. People park in your spots you pay $175 a month for. Homeless people can walk right in, they come in, sleep in our garage, use the restroom in our garage. The list goes on and on. I was hopeful when management changed, they were of course great at first, but now I feel less safe than before. Oh there was also a shooting INSIDE of the complex. There are families on 6+ living in 2 bedrooms. Just don't even waste your time here.
Awful maintenance. Months to address a single issue. Totally at their will.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Horrible property management and their parent company is no better. You will hear everything through every wall and this place is cheaply built. Don’t lease here and you’ll save yourself the trouble, trust me.
There’s literally water coming down into my bathroom and hallway from the ceiling as I write this. When I called the maintenance emergency line, they asked me if my name was ‘Janelle’ (no) and if I know who lives near me….and only after these asinine questions did they file the request. I’ve been living here just over 3 months and during that time I’ve needed to get my toilet fixed, a hole in the wall in my closet covered, AC repaired, electrical rebooted, and other odds and ends. This building is ‘nice’ on the outside and falling apart on the inside, and management doesn’t seem to care let alone accurately keep track of their resident info. Ive already ruined my expensive Turkish towels mopping up whatever soot and water is coming down … just absolutely fantastic. Now, instead of sleeping, I’m sitting here at 2AM on a Monday morning waiting for maintenance to stop water from flooding my apartment (and now my AC is broken- probably caused by said flood). Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This place is a sinking ship. Moving here was a terrible mistake.

Emese, I’m so sorry. We’re normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark. Please give us the opportunity to turn things around for you. Could you please call our leasing office at 214.712.2200 so that we discuss this in detail. Cristina - Community Director
I moved here in mid March 2021 and I've never felt more "at home"!! The entire staff, from Christina to Katrina (and every single person in between) has always gone above and beyond whenever I've needed something. Maintenance requests are handled either the same day or within 24 hours and always with a smiling face! :) The amenities have been open 24/7 since I moved in and believe me... they're WORTH IT!!! Not only do we have one of the best rooftop views downtown, this crew loves to throw "Tenant Appreciation" events and they always exceed expectations. That's probably the sweetest surprise I've had since moving here, 3 super fun mingle events within a 2 month period... Yay!!! I'm so happy to be part of the Amelia Family... Top Notch Team - Kudos and THANK YOU!!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Terri. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. Cheers, Amelia at Farmers Market
Most of the reviews for this place are paid for. Wish I was joking. Mine is obviously not. Why do I pay so much for the amenities to NEVER BE OPEN? Since I’ve moved in almost a year ago, the amenities have been open maybe a full month. My upstairs neighbors are absolutely awful and no matter how many times I ask them to quiet down, they don’t. And no matter how many times I ask the office to ask them to keep it down, they do nothing for me. The decor outside my apartment keeps being moved to in front of people’s doors as a joke - are we 12 years old? Hallways smell like weed constantly and people smoke all the time on the rooftop where the pool and lounge are. No matter how many times I tell the office - they do nothing. It’s frustrating and awful here. Look somewhere else. Not worth the cost.
My power went out the other night , I thought it would just come back on. When I realized that it wasn’t an outage with the power company I called the emergency maintenance line. It was 11pm on a hot summer night. The on-site maintenance team member came to check it out. He figured out the issue and had to have his supervisor drive in from Frisco at midnight. They got everything fixed for me! I am so thankful for such an amazing maintenance team! They are friendly and always have a smile on their face, even at midnight.
Had a little power outage in my apartment. Called the maintenance line and they sent someone in less than 10mins. He wasn’t able to fix it after tying everything, but they got the company to drive all the way from San Antonio to get my issue resolved before Christmas. They went absolutely above and beyond to make sure it got handled. Very pleased with their response to this matter.
I recently moved in to the Amelia and I am in love with it so far. First of all, the staff is amazingly, helpful and sweet. They make sure you have everything you need to get set up and my move in was simple. The building is gorgeous! Love all the amenities and can’t wait to use all the creative common areas the Amelia has to offer. Plus it is near everything and being able to walk right across the street to the Farmers Market is also a plus. Great place to live. So far so good.
Maintenance here is timely and efficient! They worked around my schedule and went above and beyond to address the issue! Made a great choice moving here!
Just moved here from Denver and I LOVE everything about Amelia. I worked with Karina, she was amazing every step of the way. Provided me with a important details, made sure I was move-in ready and very accommodating with my complex schedule. I'm right next to the farmers market, 9 min from WholeFoods and tons of food and bar options very close by. Happy happy for sure!
