I love Ame! It is such a clean, beautiful building. The style is not like any other. There are so many thoughtful touches like a coffee machine with syrups and a fully stocked pet spa. It is in a great location and next to a park. Couldn’t ask for more!

I enjoyed my stay at AME. Perfectly located between Adam's Morgan and Columbia Heights while overlooking Meridian Hill Park. Maintenance requests were almost always immediately attended to. Leasing office and front desk staff's friendliness could certainly be improved with Marwan and Jacqueline being the outliers. There was also a huge staff turnover over the year I stayed there. I mainly left because the renewal terms were inconsistent. My neighbors' lease was renewed with zero increase, at the same rate while mine was increased without justification. Absolutely no flexibility or willingness to negotiate.

We really love living in the AME building. The gym sets it apart from other rentals. The neighborhood is really great! Super walkable with great food and coffee shops in the area. Having the park view out our window perfect!

Love living here! Great amenities, great location. Always being actively cleaned which I appreciate. Being in DC am worried about critter friends and I have yet to see a single one which I believe is due to the daily cleaning

you couldn’t pay me to live here again. living at AME was the worst apartment experience of my life. The AC broke twice for months at a time. The heat broke twice for months at a time. Management couldn’t have cared less. They barely gave us updates and still expected us to pay our inflated electric bills since we had to use space heaters and plug in AC units. They then tried to increase our rents by hundreds and lock us into a longer lease. We also had the unfortunate experience of being next to the guest suite, which had a constant rotation of loud, obnoxious guests who we could easily hear through the walls. top it off with low quality appliances and something in the building constantly broken, i wish we had never lived here.

Best location! Thoughtful activities, free coffee, great amenity spaces. Walkable area. Wish there were more parking/ metro options. However I have been street parking pretty feasibly.

It's a great place to live. I would just say that the elevator was out of order for 4 months and the gym and pool were closed for over a week for cleaning.

Very unimpressed with management. Our heats been broken nearly three weeks in the dead of winter, and management has failed to fix the issue or provide appropriate updates. They keep blaming the vendor . . . Get a new vendor then. For the price we pay for a fairly small apartment, I expect speedy maintenance. I’ve lived in crappy apartments able to fix pressing issues like this faster. There’s really no excuse (and failure to provide heat as promised in our lease is a lease violation). Something in this building is always broken. It’s either the heat, the elevators, or the coffee machine. We have an upstairs neighbor that does some sort of rambunctious workout routine at 4:30 am every morning and stomps around 24/7. This is a violation of a provision of the lease we all signed re community standards. After multiple complaints, management has done absolutely nothing. They keep saying they’re “investigating the claim.” They’re avoidant and have made living here unenjoyable.

Ame is a great place to live! Management is always friendly and helpful and maintenance is very responsive. The apartments are beautiful! It’s a great place to live.

Love living here! Great location steps from restaurants shopping etc. The management is so receptive and staff are constantly cleaning which makes the building feel always fresh and airy. Love the design and thought put into everything including bimonthly resident events.

Everything at AME has been absolutely wonderful. The building is always clean, safe, and amenities are always able to be utilized. Anytime I’ve ever needed maintenance it’s come as soon as possible.

I’ve been at Ame-Meridian Hill for 8 months now. And I’m still in love with my community. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to be friendly, and keep things running as smoothly as possible. I needed two appliance repairs and both were handled well. The neighborhood is also exceptional. So diverse, and includes so many options for shopping, food and entertainment. There are several embassies, a police substation, and fire station nearby - so it feels very safe - many people walk the neighborhood and use the park and shops. I’m very satisfied with my residence here.

We’re so happy with our apartment and the neighborhood! The amenities are great, the view from the rooftop is amazing, and the management team is responsive and friendly.

Just moved in. So far couldn’t ask for anything better. You’re paying a premium price to live at Ame, but I’m convinced there are few better buildings in DC. Excellent maintenance, amenities, cleaning, staff.

It's a great building. Great amenities (gym, pool, party room, rooftop) in the best neighborhood in the city. The apartments are small, but they are modern and well equipped.

Love living here! Amenities are wonderful, constant cleaning, great location, many fun pop ups and resident events. Older building thats modernized so you dont hear neighbors through the walls. Downside: very limited parking available

Moved in on the 30th and so far the experience has been amazing! The front desk crew has been so helpful with all my furniture getting shipped out and helping me get it up to my apartment. The unit itself is so quiet and was very clean on move in. The location is super convenient with Adams Morgan and a 10 minute walk to the metro! Would definitely recommend!

Everyone was very responsive and the moving in process has been so easy. My space is clean and organized. The amenities are beyond great with a beautiful gym, rooftop, and hangout areas.

Great amenities and great service from the building, but certain things about the apartment could be improved (e.g., appliances, pests). However, the building responds quickly to issues.

I’m a new resident of DC., all the way from SoCal., and an entirely different lifestyle. Ame at Meridian Hill has made the transition smooth for me. Being able to view and choose my particular apartment before I arrived, was a real game changer for me. Having a 24-hour concierge for deliveries, maintenance emergencies, help for friends, and all my questions, makes life so much easier. I love my views, my beautiful building, my neighbors, and the neighborhood where I can walk to shop,eat, medical, and a nite out. Meridian Hill Park is right next door with shade trees, paths, and a vibrant, friendly BIG lawn where everyone picnics and plays with their dog.

I've enjoyed living in this community so far! The leasing office + concierge has been super helpful throughout my cross-country move-in process, and it's been wonderful to be in such a fun community in DC! 5/5 recommend this apt building!!

I am a new resident to Ame at Meridian Hill and I've had a great experience living here so far. Everyone has been very nice and helpful with moving in.

Overall, I love AME and it's the best apartment building I've lived in while in DC. However, lately there have been a lot of building issues that vary from flooding, broken common area washer and dryers, and long construction projects in the courtyard . More importantly, I think the front desk staff is great and handle any issues with grace.

I signed at Ame at Meridian Hill having never visited DC. I made this decision based on the great reviews it had. I couldn’t have had a better first experience renting in the city. Ame at Meridian Hill is clean, safe, and responsive to any issues you may have. The apartments have great light and the proximity to the park is unbeatable! I would highly recommend!

I moved to DC from 60 yrs in So Cal- 3 weeks ago. It has been a huge, difficult transition. Ame @ Meridian Hill has been the one, shining bright spot for me in all of this. I am so happy with my new living quarters, neighbors, staff and neighborhood. I look forward to coming home at night and feel safe, secure and cared for. Thank you to all the staff and residents.

The amenities at Amê are great! The location is also very good. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The apartments have a lot of natural light.

Into my third year here and still enjoying it. Pleasant staff, quiet neighbors, and incredible roof top view. Great location across the street from a large park and a block from the supermarket. Right on major bus route and short walk to Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights. Hard to beat.

The amenities are great and the staff is very friendly. Neighbourhood is ideal (walking distance of Admo, Columbia H., Dupont Circle and 14th ST/U Street). Appartment with a lot of daylight. Staying there is a great experience.

We love Ame at Meridian Hill. The building is charming and historic as well as completely updated. The amenity spaces are unparalleled and are what sold us on signing our lease. The community spaces are so well-maintained, and our neighbors are all respectful of our common amenities.

ame is right across the street from Meridian Hill Park, so has great and easy access to nature (not to mention a beautiful courtyard area in ame's backyard). The concierge team at ame (Dominique, Jemilie, Angela, Cary) are incredibly kind and helpful and make living in this building feel like home. ame also hosts many community- and sustainability-focused events every month, such as Ice Cream and Cookie Days (featuring locally made ice cream and cookies) and meet-and-greet events with community organizations and businesses. The building has wonderful amenities, including a massive gym, swimming pool, pet spa, party room, and lots of shared work spaces in the beautiful lobby and penthouse areas for tenants who work from home. The rooftop also boasts stunning views of DC and is great for gathering with friends. I highly recommend considering ame your next home!

My partner and I have lived in 6 different apartment buildings in DC, and Ame stands out as the BEST by far. The location is ideal, the building is beautiful, the amenities are stellar, and the community is wonderful, but what really makes the living experience so incredible is the staff. We have never experienced such kind, thoughtful, and caring concierge, maintenance, and leasing staff. They consistently go the extra mile to ensure the residents are taken care of. We can't recommend Ame enough.

Our daughter stayed at Amé her senior year at Howard and it was an all-around wonderful experience. The building is beautiful and filled with amazing amenities! But even more importantly, the staff is great! In particular, Damien, is exceptional! He is very warm, kind, helpful and professional. We stayed in the guest suite after graduation and it was tastefully decorated and very convenient. The rooftop with a view of the monument and capitol, fire pits, party rooms, grills, etc. provided the perfect venue for memorable gatherings. Amé is very special and all-around exceptional!

This is my second year as a resident of Ame’ and I would like to give the Managment team a shout out for their exceptional service here at Ame’. Big shout out to Damien who continues to be a model of what a concierge should be. Damien displays excellent customer service and seems to always put a smile on everyone who enters the building. The building is the perfect location for easy access to Adams Morgan and U St. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The amenities also make it a great place to live.

In the 8 years I’ve lived in DC, this is by far the best building I’ve lived in. The staff go above and beyond. I actually know my neighbors and the amenities are not only fantastic but well maintained. I call it a resort and I refuse to leave.
