Founded in 1857, Dawsonville is the county seat of Dawson County and just 60 miles north of Atlanta. From auto racing to the annual fall “Mountain Moonshine Festival,” there’s so much to do and see in this Atlanta metro.
To the north of Dawsonville is Amicalola Falls State Park. The 729-foot waterfall is the highest in Georgia and is recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. At the falls, outdoor activities include camping, hiking, and wildlife observation. Autumn is an especially exciting time in Dawsonville – people from all over travel here to attend one of the many festivals and for some family-friendly fun at Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze. Here, families pick out their pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, sip hot cider, walk the corn maze, and view the grounds on a hayride.
Residents of Dawsonville have a variety of shopping and dining options. The North Georgia Premium Outlets features stores like Nike, Banana Republic, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Pottery Barn.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Your NGA Team Realty
Real estate in North Georgia isn’t just my career—it’s my community, my passion, and where I’ve built my life. As a full-time broker with Your North Georgia Team Realty, I specialize in helping buyers and sellers navigate the Dawsonville, Dahlonega, and surrounding North Georgia markets with confidence. With a strong background in sales and negotiation, I’m known for getting results while making the process smooth and stress-free for my clients. I’ve been honored as “Best of Dawson” Real Estate Agent (2024 & 2025 & 2026), a community-voted award that means so much because it reflects the trust of the people I serve every day. I’m also a Life Member of the Circle of Excellence with the 400 North Association of REALTORS®, recognizing consistent high-level production and service. Beyond real estate, I’m deeply involved in our community. I serve as Chair of Dawson County Wee Books, helping provide early literacy resources to local children, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as the 2024 Board Chair of the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce. I also serve as Chair for Dawson County Library and Chestatee Regional Library. What truly sets me apart is how I show up for my clients. I believe in clear communication, honest advice, and being a strong advocate from contract to closing—and beyond. Whether you're buying your first home, selling your current one, or investing in North Georgia, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. If you're ready to make a move, let’s talk.
