About This Property
One of the nicest 1 bedroom apartments on the east side of Madison. Lower level 1 bedroom 1 bathroom pet friendly apartment available June 1. Rent includes water, water softener salt, lawn care and snow removal. Pet fees are additional (see below). This apartment is very spacious with approx. 1000 sq. ft., private entry, large 1 car attached garage with extra storage, fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, full size laundry, efficient gas furnace/central air, energy efficient and sound proof (double wall construction), private patio, lots of storage (more closets than our 2 bedrooms), well lit and secure (video surveillance), across from Sycamore Park/dog park, extra parking and more. This apartment recently went through an energy audit to determine any inefficiencies and to maximize energy efficiency which included replacement of light bulbs with high efficiency compact fluorescent bulbs/LED bulbs, new shower heads/faucet aerators with low-flow capability, and a digital setback thermostat. When we turn apartments over they are painted with a locally made zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint which has no harmful fumes and the carpets are professionally cleaned with no chemicals. We also use a commercial ozone generator/air purifier that deodorizes and sterilizes the apartment. Ozone is proven to be highly effective in killing bacteria, fungi, molds and inactivating viruses both on surfaces and suspended in the air. It is also proven to be effective for inactivation of the SARS virus, while for the Covid-19 it is supposed to be equally effective but more studies are needed. Carpets are professionally cleaned with a “green” 99% biodegradable cleaning solution and truck extraction. The apartment is professionally managed by Greenleaf Property Management and we are celebrating 25 years of business this year. We are licensed with the city of Madison and members of the Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin and National Apartment Association. Our properties are turned over in new-like condition and we provide excellent 24 hour service. This apartment is conveniently located only minutes from the East Towne area, American Center Business Park, Hwy 51, Hwy 151, Hwy 30, Beltline, Interstate, airport, restaurants/shopping, and approximately 10 minutes to the Capitol. Pet fees are $25.00 per month for each pet. Our pet policy has some breed/weight restrictions (40 lbs full-grown), only 1 dog per apartment and max 2 pets total per apartment. Pet deposit is $250.00 per pet. The security deposit is half of one month’s rent for qualified applicants. We appreciate your interest in our property.
