The apartment is located in Mid City & is the heart of New Orleans. On days off you can hop on the street car just 4 blocks away on Canal St to head downtown or to get to the Garden District to unwind. City Park is a bike ride or a beautiful walk along the bayou will get you there. Its where Voodoo Fest hosts some fabulous artists around Halloween. And is also close to the New Orleans Race Track. It opens on Thanksgiving Day which encourages a friendly hat competion amongst locals & visitors alike. City Park lights up in December for The Celebration in the Oaks for the holidays & is a must see. It is located across the street from the world famous Finn McCools where there is always something going on with respect to the residential neighborhood. There are a bunch of other pubs & restaurants within walking distance. Some of which have been visited by the Food Network & are mentioned on Diners Drive Ins & Dives.
