The School neighborhood is a small neighborhood along the MacArthur Freeway near Oakland’s Dimond District. The homes represent an eclectic mix of historic architectural styles, including many beautifully restored Victorians. Fruitvale Elementary School and Saint Jarlath School, both on the north end, give local students the option of walking to class quickly and safely.
