The views face West over Lake Union (where the film Sleepless in Seattle was made), Gasworks Park, and the Olympic Mountains. We are only a block off the lake and our neighborhood/lake has become a hub for SUPs, swimming, or renting kayaks and any other watercraft you can imagine, even hot tub boats! You can spend hours watching the sea planes, boats, regattas, and even eagles and ospreys from the deck. The Sky Cabin is bright and cozy, with warm birch paneling and 13 ft. tall ceilings, an open floor plan for the kitchen and living area, a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, and a small room for doing yoga, playing music, or using as an office. We have excellent and reliable high-speed internet. The bathroom has heated tile floors and three shower heads. Skylights, new AC, and a new gas fireplace keep everything comfortable, cozy, and bright. The sunsets are amazing! The Sky Cabin is a true oasis in the heart of Seattle, close to Amazon and many hospitals, preferably for people who work during the day (we are almost always home and wouldn't want to disturb day sleepers). A link to reviews on Airbnb is available upon request. Shared laundry with homeowners in the basement. Parking is free street parking a block away with the guest neighborhood parking permit. Tenant to pay $40 screening fee and $100 cleaning fee in addition to the $300 refundable deposit. No smoking, no pets, no extra overnight guests, no illegal activities. This is a quiet home and neighborhood, so no parties, loud music, or talking on your cell phone outside. References required.
