The courtyard is shared with all residents, and no smoking is allowed in the courtyard. The building is fob entry only. Due to the Embassy building's historic designation, smart locks with keypads or lockboxes are not permitted outside the building. Guests will need to use a call box to be buzzed in and download an app to access the unit for initial check-in. A physical key and fob will be available after check-in. Guests are asked to arrange to arrive between 3pm and 8pm for initial check-in. Trash and recycling are located on the ground floor. In the event of a lockout, assistance is only available during business hours of 9am to 7pm. Guests are financially responsible for lodging or re-entry if locked out outside of business hours due to lost or left-behind keys. No smoking or vaping is allowed indoors; outside only. Host is available 24/7 for emergencies such as fire, flood/pipe burst, medical events, all toilets not working, active break-in or burglary, power outage, earthquake, or wildfire evacuation. In the event of an emergency, guests should call appropriate authorities then notify the host. Issues brought up after checkout will not be granted refunds.
