Hi- We are looking for a housemate to share our apartment. We have just moved in and are renting the second bedroom in our two bedroom flat. We are a married couple who are easy going, often out of the house, experienced with sharing space. One of us is a student and works some evenings/weekends, the other is building an organization and is traveling a lot. The flat is a lovely, light-filled, wood floored apartment with a panoramic view towards the East Bay. There is a narrow wall-length balcony for bbq and a living room w/ fireplace. Open floor design in living room, dining room (photos are before hardwood flooring install). Kitchen has bar counter, skylight, partial wall, open to east view. The west facing 2nd BR has a large wall closet, new wool carpeting. Split BA: 1 rm with deluxe shower and tub; separate toilet rm. Near: Balboa BART, Hwy 280 (Ocean/ Geneva exit), CCSF, SFSU, Ocean Ave Whole Foods The room is available from January 15th, 2017 onwards. We can discuss how to make the transition work best due to holidays, school schedule, etc. No indoor smoking. Coin laundry (W/D) in building. Neighborhood is pretty quiet, there is a small bit of local diversion on Ocean Ave, and Ocean/Geneva/ Mission corridor (Excelsior, etc). Whole Foods & other groceries, cafes, bars on Ocean Ave. Safeway on Mission; Pacific Super on Alemany Blvd. Work commute: 10 min drive or BART to Mission District, 20 to Civic Center, Fin District, South Bay, etc. Easy walk to Balboa BART station transit hub. Hwy 280 entrance at Balboa BART to: Palo Alto, airport, Hwy 101, Fin District, downtown etc. Muni and Metro at BART Station.
