Washer/dryer, dishwasher and central heat and air conditioning in the apt. New windows and HVAC assist in energy efficiency. Wired for Comcast or Verizon FIOS The apartment has storage a large recessed closet in the hallway and lots of natural light. There is a redone bathroom with shower and tub. About the neighborhood: Right around the corner from 18th street and downtown Adams Morgan. Safeway and CVS only 3 blocks away. Less than half a mile to Columbia Heights Metro (green and yellow) and a mile to Woodley Park Metro (red). The area really is great; plenty of coffee shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Rock Creek Park, the Smithsonian Zoo and Meridian Hill Park are all within several blocks. If you like running, you can run down to the White House and National Mall area in about 10-20 minutes, which is amazing! The apartment itself is located within a small independent well-managed apartment block, with a secured entry point into the lobby.
