Despite being the lower level of a home it was converted into what is best known as a “mother In Law” apartment, however it is more luxurious with a fireplace, steam-room, hardwood floors etc than than that label suggests. Also unique to this set-up is the apartment has it's own separate driveway and separate entrance. The setting is a wonderful neighborhood in lower Easton, Plumtree Lane connects Park ave to Madison ave so it sits on a major arterial road even though you are living in a private, wooded setting with a flowing river; picturesque New England. The property sits on 4 acres of beautiful land, with the Mill River flowing right through the back yard. *Which can be seen through the Bay windows inside this apartment, or enjoyed outdoors with your morning coffee on the outdoor table w/umbrella and chairs that is already provided. (there is an outdoor furniture set already outside the apartment just off the driveway for the tenants use only) *The Mill River literally flows through the back yard & boasts some of Connecticut's finest trout (all year) fishing or even if you just like to enjoy nature & walk along the trails; the property is part of the package and also yours free to enjoy... The apartment is set up like a loft and it is the lower level of a home; yet it is truly separate. Again, it has its OWN driveway, and it's OWN entrance. It is a very safe neighborhood that boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the entire state. In the past, I have rented to working professionals, retirees and a handful of mature college students since I bought the home in 2006. I installed over the entire driveway and entrance superior outdoor lighting, I took extra measures to ensure the entire driveway is extremely well lit (pretty long driveway aprox: 60-90 feet long). The extra lighting is for your safety, security, convenience, and of course for peace of mind. *If you are into “partying” or tend to be excessively “Loud” this isn't the space for you. The apartment has over 20 recessed lights throughout, many on dimmers for you to control the effect of the light how you want it... Very nice wood laminate flooring throughout all 1100 sq ft of the space (high end wood laminate) HUGE shower with a steam shower option. The shower has several body jet heads (you can see that in the pics). There is also a cement bench inside the shower, as well as a steel assistance bar for convenience... Tons of natural light through 3 huge sliding glass windows (all are equipped with double locks), there is exposed brick, it's very charming and open, safe, private and ready to be moved into immediately. *Due to the rent being so low with all possible utilities included it is being rented to one occupant. If couples are interested, that is a possibility as the space is plenty large enough but the rent will be 1600 to accommodate- I welcome all inquiries, feel free to email text or call to set up an appointment to view, and of course for any questions... washer and dryer Location, Location, Location! (As previously stated Plumtree Lane is an arterial road that connects Park ave at the “bottom” & Madison ave at the “top" of Plumtree Ln. These are two of this areas most integral roads(Park&Madison) they are central to everything. So, the home sits in a wooded 4 acre lot with a pristine River out back (and over 60 acres of protected space behind that) yet is minutes to everywhere. 5 minutes to Fairfield, 2 minutes to The Westfield Trumbull Shopping Mall & 55 minutes to New York City.
