Note that Capitol Hill is a densely populated area, so street parking is first-come, first-served and can be hard to find depending on the time of day. Paid public parking is available nearby. Well-trained pets are welcome with a fee of $50 per pet. Pet fees beyond one pet are processed manually post-reservation confirmation. The regular nightly rate covers 4 guests, with additional guest fees of $25 per person per night, up to a maximum of 6 guests. Located in the Pike/Pine Corridor of Capitol Hill, this iconic Seattle neighborhood is a prominent hub for food, music, and nightlife. You’ll find excellent brunch and coffee shops, fantastic dining and shopping, bustling nightlife, award-winning bars, world-class entertainment, and live music. The area boasts enviable transit options with a high walk score and many dining, shopping, and entertainment options within walking distance. It's just minutes' walk to Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, which takes you to other parts of the town, including the airport. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are highly recommended. This townhome is not handicap friendly, and guests must be comfortable with stairs as there are multiple stories. Guest access is granted via a smart lock. Strictly no parties and events, quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, no smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property, including outdoor areas, no digital piracy, and no shoes in the home. A $500 fine applies per violation. Pets are welcome, but refrain from allowing them on furniture or linens, and do not leave them unattended. Please bring poop bags and pick up after your pets.

Back around 1900, a real estate developer renamed the burgeoning community from "Broadway Hill" to "Capitol Hill" because he wanted the capitol to be moved from Olympia to Seattle.
