About This Home
Sunny 2BR condo in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Incredibly easy access to public transit and highways. Short walking distance to Northeastern and Wentworth and very easy commute to Boston Medical. The place is on the fourth floor of a six story red-brick apartment building - wonderful architecture, cozy, with lots of sunshine all-day long; even during winter. There is elevator access and also a common roof-deck with spectacular views of the city (see photos). Washer/dryer located within the apartment itself -- a luxury during the long New-England winters. Fort Hill is a great neighborhood bordering South End and Jamaica Plain. Neighbors in the building are very friendly -- there's everyone from international exchange students and school teachers to banking professionals and artists. The Roxbury Community College, a 2 min walk, hosts many events throughout the year -- food and film festivals, art exhibits, etc. Jamaica Plain is a 5 min walk and South End about a 10-15 min walk; there's always a lot to do close by. There are plenty of local grocery stores, ethnic groceries and eateries in Nubian Square which is a 5min walk and many more Columbus/Tremont St in JP. There's also a large Super Stop & Shop a subway stop away at Jackson Square and another one a 5min drive into Jamaica Plain. 5 min walk to the Orange Line (Roxbury Crossing), 15 min walk to Silver Line (Nubian Square) and a bus stop right outside the building. Plenty of on-street parking; optional off-street, reserved parking is available for an extra fee. Commuting to downtown Boston takes around 10min on the Orange Line. If you are working/studying at Northeastern, Wentworth, or BUMC, this place is ideal -- you could walk there or take one of the buses that stop right outside the building. Longwood is also easily accessible.
14 John Eliot Square 4F is an apartment community located in Suffolk County and the 02119 ZIP Code.
