One enters through double French doors. Kitchen has stainless appliances, granite counters and a 4' x 5' island with seating possibilities. Cabinets are contemporary white lacquered; flat paneled doors with chrome knobs/pulls. Master suite includes separate toilet room, large open contemporary bathroom. Shower faucet has 6 body sprays, an overhead waterfall and an overhead rainfall head .The shower is enclosed by European glass and chrome hardware. Shower tile is 3" x 12" white subway with glass mosaic accent. There are 2 wall hung sinks made by Duravit with arched, single handle faucets. There is also a separate free standing tub. It is deep and comfortable and beautifully sculptural. Overhead are 2 glass and chrome pendant lights. The bathroom leads into the 14’5” x 13’5” master bedroom with great natural light. The office has a giant window that faces west. Light from that window is shared throughout the apartment through a 4’ x 5’ glass panel that divides the office and the kitchen space. Instead of installing dry wall, we designed this stationary piece of glass so that light could bounce back and forth through the rooms. The heating system, including vents and thermostat, is independent from the main house. Apartment has its own breaker box. There is a high efficiency furnace, water heater and water softener. Sound proofing measures include double dry wall with green glue in-between, suspended on a hat channel with whisper clips. Sound insulation includes spray-in foam in addition to the traditional pink insulation. All outlets have sound insulating putty and spray foam. Apartment has private footpath and winding stairway lined with Swedish Aspen. Entry is surrounded by a small landscaped and intimate courtyard-like space with ample room to place a grill. There is abundant natural light and abundant recessed, pendant and chandelier lighting. Ceilings are nearly 8’ throughout. Our home is located on the foothills at the east side of Lindon. Mt Baldy is immediately to the front of our neighborhood. Utah Lake is in the distance of our west facing view. We are in a well established neighborhood with many tree lined streets and well groomed yards. It is a very pretty place to live. Rent covers the following utilities: gas, electric, high speed internet, water/sewer, yard maintenance. Rent will be due on the 1st of the month.
