Ward 1 is a Tucson neighborhood situated along Interstate 10. The Santa Cruz River, and the trail that follows, flows through the eastern border of town along the interstate. Downtown Tucson’s entertainment, shopping, and restaurant choices are a short drive to the east of Ward 1. A step west of town is Saguaro National Park and Tucson Mountain Park, which provide residents with some of the best outdoor recreation opportunities in the desert.
Ward 1 is a largely residential area, but modern amenities can be found scattered throughout. Carondelet Saint Mary’s Hospital is located on the neighborhood’s southern limits. Large shopping plazas like El Rio Plaza are equipped with a variety of eateries and businesses. A mix of affordable rental styles can be found towards the heart of Ward 1.

I absolutely love living here! It’s a great area and great views of the Sonoran desert. Gates pass is basically in my backyard. Downtown is only 6 minutes away. It’s a great place to live. The staff is friendly and the community is quiet. If only they had a hot tub!!!

Zona Village office manager Kay is a jewel! Friendly, professional, tackles any issues ASAP! It's located just a few miles from Saguaro National forest West. The residents I've met are friendly and helpful! It's a nice neighborhood to walk in and around, and it's close enough yet far away enough from the downtown area and easy access to the I-10! I LOVE it here!

Maintenance responds right away when there’s an emergency. Maintenance has always been great since I moved in. I think they’re understaffed putting pressure on one person. This is concerning for the main maintenance person who really strives to help everyone.
Fast and professional response to any malfunction I have come across so far.
I LOVE my move to Zona Village! It's far enough from the busyness of the city but close enough to stores I need! Everyone I've met so far have been friendly and the management team is great and welcoming! It's just minutes away from the Saguaro National Park West and I'm thrilled I can get to and from work without having to get on the highway, and it's a beautiful enjoyable drive seeing all the Saguaro and other cacti! And I LOVE the convenience of the laundry app and that the laundry room is open 24/7 so I can do wash at my convenience! Rent is far more reasonable than what I had been paying so it's a win win all around!
Good apartments just depends on what floor your on, you can hear creaking when walking lightly.
Very well maintained community apts,management is great,and so is maintenance,
I do not want to renew my lease. The amenities here are absolutely not worth the monthly rent.
Zona Village is peaceful and a great place to live and relax.

The area is lovely and they keep it clean and maintained. Just a warning though about living under people. It’s not so lovely

The management here, Ron and Rafael, are professional and welcoming. They always have specials you can't easily find anywhere else. Located not far from downtown, west campus and grocery stores. The complex is beautifully maintained by the very quick and efficient staff. They also offer Cross Fit and Yoga classes and bicycle rentals.
