Management won't fix anything. Elevators are always broken, and so is the garage door. This leading to breakins and management doesn't do anything about it.

People are nice but the staff needs to care about actually solving problems instead of putting a band aid over it. the workers lack communication and organization that makes problem solving inefficient and delayed. the same issues that have been happening for over a year continue to persist bc staff doesnt care enough to actually fix them

The Windsor South Lamar is the perfect place to call home in Austin, TX! Moving from New Hampshire, I was amazed by how welcoming the community and staff were. They made the move-in process feel like a breeze. The modern amenities, spacious layout, pool and fitness center and unbeatable location make it such a great spot to call home. Be just walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, and the trails at Lady Bird Lake it's truly the best of both worlds.

Location is good. But as for the rest…honestly disappointed. Building is poorly unkept and maintained. And always smells like pets. Really hope they turn it around because it feels quite bad at times for what we pay.

Unsafe, extremely poorly maintained, and overpriced. Homeless individuals vandalizing, broken garage for 1+ years, constant fire alarms, rampant package theft, and rent disparities of $400+. Avoid Windsor, South Lamar, at all costs.

I very recently moved into this property and thus far have had good experiences with the staff.
I've lived at the Windsor South Lamar for almost seven years. The location and amenities including a cool pool area, garden area and huge, attached dog park can't be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful, and common spaces are modern - love them!
The whole staff makes of this a great place to live. The front desk staff is phenomenal and Ever from maintenance is always on point and very friendly
The maintenance team is amazing. Both Julian and Ever were quick, professional and kind. I had a few work order requests at one time, so Ever finished those up efficiently. I really appreciate all of their help!
Staff is incredibly helpful & courteous. Likewise the maintenance staff know how to fix anything, respond quickly and completely clean-up their workspace. Everyone is EASY to work with & Cooperative in getting the job done. We could not be more PLEASED!!
Do not move here. At any given point, half to ALL of the elevators, garage, and access doors don’t work, there is a pile of junk in the garage. There are tons of bugs. The walls are so thin that I can hear the person above me breathe. People leave trash in the halls. They block the ONLY exit with dumpsters almost everyday.
It’s the best complex so far in the 4 years of renting, I haven’t had a single issue at all
The Maintenance staff here does an amazing job. All of them are very kind and helpful.
This community is pretty great. No kids and mostly young professionals live here. The pool is a party every weekend during the summer, and at times it gets too loud, but who doesnt like a party? The apartments are great and I feel super safe living alone here.
Maintenance staff were fantastic. They didn't have the parts on hand so i cant use my dishwasher for several weeks but they were prompt and courteous.

Great customer support, when it comes to problem solving Windsor South Lamar takes the time to help out the same day no matter what, which is greatly appreciated.
Amenities are pretty good, although they can get crowded quickly (pool and gym). Maintenance staff is top notch, they are quick and efficient with their fixes. The staff has been very helpful for the most part, the General Manager doesn't seem to want to help and doesn't seem empathetic to any issues.
Maintenace team always do a great do a great job and are also so great with my pets every time they come for a repair!
Overall love living here and love the location. Maintenance team is outstanding!!! The garage door not working often is a complaint of mine, as well as how high the rent is but other than that everything has been great!

I had an excellent move in and leasing experience. Robert was incredibly helpful and answered every question I had, even some ridiculous ones. He went above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable and all concerns were addressed.
I have enjoyed my time at the Windsor so far! The leasing office staff has been very easy to communicate with and are very accessible.
My AC went out and the Maintenance team was there ASAP. They are the best group I’ve dealt with in any complex I’ve lived at.

The Windsor has delivered on all cylinders; from their amazing amenities to the staff, everything about it has been perfect. Being someone who moved from out of state, I feel lucky and thankful I narrowed in on the Windsor.
Leasing process was very timely and provided sufficient information. Check in list was incredibly helpful. Overall move in was very easy.
Living at Windsor has been a great experience overall. The leasing office worked with me in a specific situation that was greatly appreciated. I have loved everything about living here except a few things. The trash situation is a pain. We pay 30 for a community fee but can't even get our trash valeted. Even more, there is only one way to dispose of your trash. There are not any trashcans around the community and in addition, there is only 2 dog stations to dispose of their business. And they are both in the most inconvenient spots.
The location is wonderful, and my dog loves the dog park. Specific maintenance requests and community events have met my standards. By paying more attention to building upkeep, it would make the experience much better and reflect the value that we are paying as residents.
I cant say enough great things about the maintenance team here at the Windsor South Lamar. I have a dog who is a bit timid when people enter the apartment and these guys are always super respectful of that and I’m so appreciative. They reply to my request typically within a day if not faster and are in and out within 15-20 minutes. There is no disruption to my day! They’re awesome!
The location of the complex is amazing, and the aesthetic of the apartment is nice, but beyond that, I would not recommend living at Windsor South Lamar. There is no insulation in the flooring, so it constantly sounds like an elephant is stomping around above me and management has washed its hands of the issue. The pool area turns into something reminiscent of a Vegas pool party over the summer, and the noise is so bad I have to leave my apartment to get some relief from it. Extra monthly charges are ridiculous and the community stays dirty despite the monthly fee we pay to keep it clean.
My husband and I have lived at Windsor South Lamar ever since the building first became available. It was under a different ownership at that time. Since Windsor South Lamar took over, we have seen wonderful improvements. We love all of the maintenance staff and office staff. A new and improved garage door has been installed, the dog park has been renovated (which is a plus for our four legged friend) and a new/improved coffee machine for the tenants has been added.
The maintenance team is really good. Plus having them live onsite means we always have quick responses to emergencies that happen after normal business hours.
Maintenance team is awesome! I've lived in a couple of different places and maintenance has never been as responsive/professional/quick/thorough as the team here. Please don't ever change them!
Not really impressed with the building. It's filthy. Ongoing trash and recycling issues. Terrible odor constantly permeates my apartment.
