Located along the Houston Ship Channel, Baytown combines coastal living with industrial heritage. This city of over 83,000 people offers waterfront living and affordable housing options, with current average rents ranging from $719 for studios to $1,392 for three-bedroom homes. The rental market has remained relatively stable, with most unit types seeing modest year-over-year changes of less than 2%. Residents find appealing neighborhoods throughout the city's 37 square miles, particularly near the Baytown Nature Center, a 450-acre peninsula wildlife sanctuary surrounded by three bays.
Baytown's Downtown Arts District anchors the cultural scene, featuring the Baytown Little Theater and Lee College Performing Arts Center. The Fred Hartman Bridge stands as a local landmark, while the Baytown Nature Center offers hiking trails and wildlife viewing areas.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Willow Tree Apartments
I have lived here for years and it is a very nice place to live. The ladies in the office are very nice and friendly. The grounds are very nice and manicured on a regular basis. If you have any maintenance problems they are taken care of promptly.
Don't move here unless you don't mind your car having its windshield smashed for no reason. It's happened to 3 other residents while I was living there. what made it worse was the manager lady of the office accused me and my fiance of BREAKING OUR OWN WINDSHIELD THAT WE PAID FOR OUTA POCKET AFTER THAT INSADENT! After she realized how stupid she sounded she apologized but said there was nothing they could basically. the apts themselves aren't that bad but it's not a safe place at night.
In order to protect your security, do not go with company. They sent my information to a debt collection agency over a lease that I never signed in which caused me many issues. Since a lease was never signed, they should have removed my information properly instead of providing it to a debt collector.
If you are looking for a safe, quiet place to live Willow Tree is the place for you.The grounds are beautifuly landscaped and the maintenance is exceptional. Our manager Larissa is the kind of manager you always hope to have. She is very good at the business side of her job but what makes her exceptional is the way she treats everyone. She is very kind and friendly to everyone. So if this sounds like what you are looking for come check out Willow Tree Apartments David B.
Very good complex! Am recommending it to all my friends who are looking for a GOOD safe place to live. New management is great friendly and professional. Making much needed improvements and now we have a play area for our pets! The maintenance is also very good. Come in and have a visit and you will want to stay! Carol M
The last management was wonderful. This new lady took over and got rid of girls in the office that had been here for years that the residents loved. New management is rude and acts like you're bothering them by asking a question. They hardly answer the phone to begin with. It's way too expensive. Every one of my neighbors have already moved out and I'm doing the same when my lease is up in November. There's so many available apartments here now because of these reasons. Their occupancy percentage is awful. Do yourself a favor and don't move here until the management gets their act together and they drop the price to what it's worth.
Property Manager at Willow Tree Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback. We have made changes to the management in the office. I am here everyday if you are able to come by and speak to me about your concerns.
Honest review. Pros first: Fire place looks nice. Haven't used it. Balcony is nice but our unit doesn't have one. Only some do. Walk-In closet is great/useful. Heating works well. Pool is clean. Cons: "Courtesy Patrol"? Where? Willow Tree is scary at night. Car has been broken into a lot. "Hardwood Floors" also deceiving. Only hardwood in door entry and dining area. Not in living room or bedrooms like wanted. "Instant Hot Water" but does not last too long. Occasional bugs find their way into apartment. New manager is difficult to deal with. Expensive.
I'm not satisfied with the new manager, it's pretty ugly treats you like nothing with an ugly ugly attitude.
Not satisfied with current management. Previous was wonderful. Maintenance is wonderful as well. Roach issue. Not our fault. If you're looking for an expensive apartment for mid-level quality, Willow Tree is your place. When our lease is up, we will be moving because we can no longer afford to live here.
I have lived at Willow Tree for 2 years and would only move if I bought a home. The complex is quiet and clean! I have never had any issues and the neighbors are great. I feel safe and the office staff is wonderful! The manager Erika is always so helpful and understanding! Compared to the other places in Baytown, it is much nicer and safe.
