I have lived here for a little over 4 years now. These apartments have improved their rodent control. The crime rate is low. It’s best because of the small communities that make it up. I do wish they had better amenities and continuous HVAC instead of seasonal.

The apartment is standard but doesn’t have ceiling light or bathroom vent. The apartment was dirty upon moving in and there was a smell of gas.
I’m honestly more disappointed than anything because I thought this would be a place I could rent for the next two years while preparing to purchase a home but I’m not resigning my lease. I’ve only been here for about four months and the number of tickets I’ve put in about the mice problem that still hasn’t been resolved is ridiculous. I appreciate Priscilla for being helpful with the leasing process because I moved to the area very close to my due date and I actually moved in a week before having my baby. Now had I known that I wouldn’t even be able to walk around comfortably in the place where I pay rent at because of the mice, I would have NEVER signed a lease here. I wish I would have taken my chances with staying a bit longer with family and kept searching for apartments. I’ve been asking to speak with a higher up in the leasing office regarding this issue but I have yet to get a response in the four months I’ve been living here. I’ve emailed and called. I really wish I could get out of this lease or at least be moved to another unit, I’d even be willing to downsize to a two bedroom if I knew I wouldn’t have mice for the remainder of my time here. I just see my experience here as time and money wasted. Mice are just gross and it’s a complete inconvenience.

The inside apartment is nice. The outside community needs work. There is dog poop and dumpster trash everywhere. The grass also barely gets cut.

I love living here it is a really nice and quiet place to live. I love that they have a place for my dog to run around and play. I love that if there is a problem the rental office solves it as fast ast they can

The Community is a decent place to live. all you need to do is intensive security. Think of fixing Cameras around the buildings. if this is done, i believe things like attempted car theft, hit and run and other security challenges will be prevented. Packing inthe streets must be controlled especially those who pack at the intersection..

Would be great if property management send out reminders to people about noise, there is a lot of people who “forget” what time is it or”don’t realize” their music it’s too loud for 11:00 pm

I mostly like living in this residence is, it’s quite and a better living environment. I find it better than where i used to live. I hope authority will continue there services for betterment of us and if we address any issue or problem they will take it in their consideration.

For the most part, my experience here has been ok. What gets me hot, is that you call the Leasing Office and leave voicemails, but never get a call back. What’s the point of having an answering service/machine but don’t return tenants calls. Other than this small issue, all other things have been ok here.

Apartment was not clean when we moved in. Also we do not have hot water and the vents are full of dust. Otherwise this is a good apartment and location.

Apartment is full of roaches and we started having mice problems the whole building has the same issue they bring out pest control but the issue remains. Can't have bread or any thing on counter tops because they going to be in it. No water or hot water and always turning something off to fix. Utility bill super high and go up every month.

We are About a month in and So far so good! They have been vigourous with the rodent issue by sending pest control for precautions and I have not had any problems so far. The AC works pretty good. Got us thru the recent heat wave with no problems.

I’ve said this since the beginning, “we are getting the bang for our buck”. This community is cozy and quiet. It could use several improvements; however, if you are looking for cheaper than most surrounding neighborhoods, you probably won’t find it. I have 3 stars, but only because I could not give 3.5. Biggest improvements includes rodent issues, dumpster areas, and parking. The only main they could be better about is compensating their tenants when the A/C goes out and it’s out for more than 24 hours

I’ve had a pleasant two years residing at Willow Run Apartments. Maintenance is proactive and the leasing office is easy to reach. Although parking may be difficult at times, the leasing office’s towing services are vigilant in the evenings and night time for those without a parking pass.

My wife n I have been here for a little over three years. Many improvements have been made to make this a comfortable place to live. For the space we have, the price is not bad. Maintenance and staff are courteous and very helpful.

The units are cute, but have very little storage space(No kitchen drawers and the large hallway closet has the HVAC I side of it). There is a fight for parking every night, and my neighbors constantly leave dents in my car. The hallways are cleaned once a week, so you can imagine how they look in between the cleanings. The pricing doesn't match the community. The upside is there are large bedrooms with nice size closets and even though there are no drawers in the kitchen, the updated cabinets and counter tops are pretty.

The apartaments aren’t new, but they are decent. They are big, and my carpet was new. I live on the first floor and the only thing that bothers me are the noises I hear from my upstairs neighbors. Sometimes they are very loud and happen very late at night. Common areas could also be cleaner, such as the stairwell areas. So far, our maintenance requests have been responded to in an ok amount of time. with a little delay but nothing absurd. Overall, it's pretty ok to live here.

It's a Nice community, and the Apartments are Spacious. The Rental office people are really helpful when you need help! The Hallways just need to be cleaned more frequently.

Since getting here in 2020, the one major upgrade I’ve noticed is that it seems that all the rats are gone outside which reduced the mouse population inside. There is still much work to be done, but that’s a huge relief.

It was not as smooth sailing as I would have liked. I personally feel that the apartment was not ready and they just wanted to fill the apartment. During the first week I had way too many complaints about things they needed to fix.

I have been here for 9 yrs now it's OK for me because everything is easy for me. My jobs are close to stores nearby from my location. No crime like shooting or stealing of packages, and my close neighborhood is friendly.

While I do like it here there are some things that I could do without. Seems difficult to get things fixed for one. Appliances such as fridge are not exactly like in the pictures, way different actually. The refrigerator is very small with parts to it I don’t even think go to this fridge exactly. Missing important storage compartments making it difficult to store food efficiently inside the fridge/freezer. The office is very hard to get in touch with. Overall not bad I think I will stay for a few years probably.

There are mice and roaches that they can’t do anything about because there are too many holes in the walls. Despite checking all the appliances before moving in, two of the burners on the stove don’t work, and the washing machine leaks into the cabinet under the sink. I had to get my sink fixed 3 times because the first two they didn’t fix my problem. The toilets barely flush. Our first night here the cover for our ceiling light fell off and shattered. They gave us back our $350 “holding fee” and then charged us twice for it, and when we complained, they reimbursed us and then sneakily charged us again. There have been reports every week of vandalism by the kids living here. Some kids were walking around a knife. The internet in our whole building would randomly cut out for months. The AC only works some days. Half the outlets don’t work either. The carpet is not good at all and there’s lead paint. The front door is barely hanging on. Everything here is barely put together. 90% of our mail is for other people. Our sewage bill has been nearly $200 the past two months for no explicable reason. Nothing is in good walking distance even. The power goes out during storms often. All of this and we’ve only lived here for 3 months. But hey at least we have a balcony. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

It was super bad maintance never come and the office don’t answer the phone. Also when you move in they say they fix this and that but never do it. You get a free unlimited pet mouse come with your apartment also
The staff was great and I was able to effectively communicate with the property manager to get everything I need it fix. When I first move in I was hating my experience, my whole apartment was very unacceptable and ruin without AC and just overflowing toilets. The AC still does not work correctly, I have been battling to get it fix and still waiting for a better solution. The community and the amenities are great. The apartment has great space and very homey. Unfortunately, so many things to fix but other then that is the perfect apartment. I will update about the AC later. My 3 star rating is because the moving was very upsetting and just unpleasant.

You’ll be quoted a reasonable rate for the apartment and utilities. Everything will seem fine. Then, two months in, they will start charging you extremely high rates for water, sewage, electric, gas, trash, amenity fee, and unlabeled service fees. The utilities are based off of one meter from a severely overcrowded building so if you’re living alone or with one other person it doesn’t matter. You’ll be paying a family sized bill for everything. Not to mention the cockroaches and rats everywhere. Or the five alerts a week about criminal activity in the apartment community.
The rodent problem has seemed to improved. However, communication with the front office has taken a dive. I usually do email, but rarely get ANY replies.

Office staff is wonderful BUT the unit is very unclean. We were told that it would be cleaned up but looks like it was made dirtier, which is actually disgusting. We are having to delay move in to bring our own cleaners. Got an earful from my better half so now it costs me in the end.

Major safety concerns. There is a lot of criminal activity, there have been six communications from the leasing office just in the past week about crime in the neighborhood. Police and ambulances are here at least every other day. Beautiful apartments but definitely not a safe community. Hoping that resolves soon because the apartments really are lovely. Stylish carpet, big windows, large floor plans, and competitive rent give this community a lot of potential. If safety concerns are addressed then I will be changing my review to five stars.
