Enjoying the many windows which fills the apartment home with daylight. Tall ceilings, carpet in bedrooms, large walk-in closets, modern bathrooms all just little sparkles to enhance the huge breakfast bar and modern kitchen with a nice balcony. The community rooms are an extra bonus.

I’ve really enjoyed living in this apartment complex. The community is friendly, the grounds are well-kept, and there’s a great sense of neighborhood here. Management is generally responsive, and maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. The only issue I’ve run into is with mail delivery It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a little frustrating. Overall, it’s a great place to live with a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and community-oriented apartment!

Leasing agents have been great, very respectful and always offering assistance. The office Manager and Assistant Manager are a different story. Both very rude, smug looks on their faces when greeted by residents and they seem to be annoyed anytime you lightly argue an issue that’s reasonable to resolve.

My Aunt has lived here for the past 13 months. Ryan & Angela welcomed her with open arms and treated her like the special lady she is. Edgar & the maintenance team were there to assist immediately when she submitted maintenance requests. The pool is resort style with the beautiful cabanas. The resident events allowed her to meet great neighbors. I myself just signed a new lease and look forward to continued terrific service.

Good new apartments .. Good staff , helpful and friendly . Swimming pool is awesome and gaming room is very good . Only one issue i see is few dog owners not cleaning the mess which makes property dirty . If u see 3rd building stairs you will see what i am talking about .

Westvale is an attractive community, but it falls short in important areas. The washer and dryer are undersized and tough on clothes, and roaches are an ongoing issue in both the units and the parking lot. It’s disappointing that the front desk doesn’t seem proactive about fixing these problems, especially since the rent suggests a higher standard of quality and care.

I have been staying at this apartment for almost an year. The maintenance team is quite responsive and generally does a good job whenever an issue is raised. However, one concern is the water quality – the hardness is noticeably high. Also, lately there has been an increase in pests, which needs more attention from management. Overall, it’s a decent place, but a few improvements would make it much better.

When our lease was up here at Westvale, we decided to stay and move into a larger unit. Brandy went out of her way numerous times to show different units, and answer any questions we had. We love it here!

Overall Westvale is a very nice complex. Units are new and the facilities are top notch. Security is very good with private gates leading into the complex. We love the location close to downtown Roanoke and the local park. The only negative I can give is that the grounds are not kept picked up from animal waste. Clearly this is a problem with the pet owners but the issue has persisted for the entire year we have been here. At some point the issue has to be resolved and I believe that property management must take more drastic measures to get it corrected. I also feel that the grounds should be cleaned up from this waste on a regular basis. It's not fair for all residents to have to live in this filth while a few residents aren't doing what they are supposed to do. Complete lack of respect for themselves and their neighbors.

I have been very disappointed withe the multitude of load and persistent noise from yelling , extreme base music permeating through the walls and now starting yesterday evening and tonight some kind of heavy machine type stapler sound coming from an above apartment. Living at Westvale has been a mostly positive experience. The grounds are well-maintained, and the place has a peaceful vibe that’s nice to come home to. The staff is friendly and generally helpful, though, like anywhere, there can be some delays with certain requests. The amenities cover the basics, and while they're not overly fancy, they do the job. I think there’s definitely room for a few improvements here and there, but overall, it’s a solid place to live with a good balance of convenience and comfort. Although the amenities are good, the inconveniences faced by residents are surprising. There is no alternative way to enter the home without using the phone/app. What if the phone is lost? There has to be an alternate access system. Visitor experience is also frustrating; QR codes often don’t work, and the gate exit isn’t automated. The package delivery policy is unreasonable, as heavy packages must be picked up from the leasing office with no help. During my application, I requested a garage, but on move-in day, I was informed it’s unavailable, with no clear timeline provided. I’m still waiting for an update. Improved communication and accessibility would greatly enhance the resident experience.
