Vista Laurel Highlands

DO NOT MOVE HERE. UNSAFE AND INSECURE. We’ve been tenants for over a year, and safety has been a constant concern. Some issues include: • Stolen and broken-into vehicles. • Hostage situation requiring SWAT intervention with no communication from management. • Natural gas leaks reported to the fire department. • Unsecure garage access; doors left open or easily tailgated. • Non-functioning building FOB entry for weeks. • My motorcycle was stolen, yet no notice to residents. • Multiple fire and maintenance issues ignored. Please reconsider before moving in.

This apartment is fantastic. The building is very quite and the maintenance is quick and always fantastic. Office staff is always super friendly. The value in the apartments is great! Its great place to call home!

Oz Halton was an exceptional Assisrant manager. During his leadership post at VLH, he was visible, attentive and responsive to Community concerns. His customer service efforts were exceptional. He will be missed!

I love my apartment. I love the kitchen set up and my sweet little balcony. The assistant property manager Oz, is a pleasure to work with. I have called him twice in 6 months with what I considered a serious issues. He works quickly to get the issue resolved. He makes my concerns personal, and always follows up with me. I feel looked after in this community.

Management staff is unbelievable. Oz was a dream to work with and continues to be well after our move in date! He took care of so many of the little things that it made everything seem so effortless. Everyone knows him and he really has the pulse of his community at Vista Laurel Highlands. My family and I feel safe and well taken care of with him representing our needs. Thank you Iz!

This is my second year living at Vista Laurel highlands and I must say, love every bit of it, except there are not enough storage for anything for the amount of rent beautiful apartment homes, very secured, the maintenance team are the best- very professional, prompt when a work order is requested. I definitely will recommend the apartment to friends and family.

Vista Laurel Highlands is by far one of the best kept hidden secrets in Northern Virginia. Definitely worth the drive and definitely worth looking into making this your next home.

Very quiet. Staff is awesome!

Vista is a wonderful community for so many reasons. It has multiple options available for flexible leasing terms. The community is very safe. Everyone has key fobs to enter buildings, common areas and the covered garage parking. The fobs are only good for entry into the building you actually live in and the building with the recreational areas (ex. gym, game room, computer room and movie theater). Yes, there is a movie theater with a great big screen and comfy leather recliners! The gym has a great selection of up to date equipment that includes free weights, cardio and weight machines. Shower facilities are also available. The rec room has several televisions, sofas for lounging and a large kitchen.This area is available to residents and is great for private events. This area opens out to the pool, grill and fire pit! The property is also pet friendly with lots of green space and a dog run. Property management is awesome. Every month there is a catered mixer where residents have a chance to meet and mingle. Food and clothing drives are run from the leasing office. The staff is just great, very friendly and approachable. Guests are required to use an intercom and buzzer system to gain entry into the garage. The best thing about this is that no land line is required! It can be set up with a cell phone number! This comes in handy if you leave your keys in the apartment, but happen to have your phone on you, you can call and buzz yourself in!! The covered garage is clean, well-lighted and has metal doors. The doors are mounted in a way that the clearance to enter the garage isn’t affected. No risk of scraping the top of the moving van because garage doors take a couple inches off the clearance. The monthly fee to reserve a parking spot is very inexpensive. Guest parking is available in the garage. The community is located at most 5 minutes from the interstate and is convenient for traveling anywhere in the DC metro. If the interstate is backed up there are several other alternate route options. Buses are easily within walking distance. The community has well paved sidewalks. You never have to walk in the street. The metro (train) station is about 15 minute ride away. Alternatives to public transportation such as Uber and Lyft are available in the area. Vista is truly an awesome place to call home!

I loved the look of the Vista Laurel Highlands Apartment the minute I saw it. The layout feels more like a home, with its hardwood and tile floors, granite countertops, cabinets with handles, and natural light filling the entire apartment. The "Green Building Status" has added benefits of sound proofing the apartment, preventing the noise from the other apartments, hallways, and the highway from being heard at all. Although the complex backs up to 95 south, the view is predominantly the older trees of Lorton. The complex is tucked into the Laurel Highlands neighborhood of townhomes and single family homes, and provides a much different environment than the typical apartment complex. With plenty of sidewalks and walking paths, there's no need to use the Vista Laurel Highlands dog park. And don't let the four stories scare you off, with the fears of stairs. Hidden behind the facade, is a four story garage plus an elevator. Plenty of free and guest parking, but a reserved covered spot is great with winter snow. Finally, the management of Vista Laurel Highlands is the best I've seen. With its online system for comments, maintenance requests, and rent payments, they still are incredibly responsive and the staff prefers the personal touch. Vista Laurel Highlands is a place to stay and develop roots in the Washington D.C. area.

This community truly values its residents and wants you to stay. Loyalty is recognized and demonstrated in minimal rent increases (of your already very reasonable rate) at renewal time. Additionally, the community has everything it advertises. The apartments and amenities are modern and stylish. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The team members are very friendly, approachable and vested in making sure you enjoy your experience. The best part is that is undeniably a great place to live!

We just moved into this complex a couple of months ago and have loved every minute. The leasing office is very responsive, knows most on a first name basis, and is kept very clean. The community is very friendly, most owning dogs and are very pleasant. People seem to care about cleanliness and keeping the area looking nice. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because of the rent fluctuation. Rates depend on the time of the year, summer being the most expensive.
