Property Ratings at Villaggio
I like the community, however, there are too many new apartment complexes that are being built in the area that comes with all appliances. The draw back for this community is not having the washer/dryer unit in the apartment and that you have to go out of your way to rent it. That adds to the monthly expense.
Decent and safe place to live
The management and maintenance staff are very thorough, professional, and responsive. They take very good care of the community and communicate effectively and regularly with residents.
I have recommended this location to several of my friends!!
I love living here! Just Wish The restioration of my apartment will be done soon!
So far I've enjoyed the people and it's always clean and seems to be a safe and secure community.
I would not recommend because Some of the residents don't treat the apartment grounds with the respect that should be seen in a community like this. I have tried picking up after my neighbor's but it seems they don't care. I hate that some balconies are not appropriately deemed for curb appeal. I hope management will continue to persuade the cleanliness of our complex. I would recommend because management is trying to keep an upscale community. It's not their fault some residents do not follow rules and regulations.

Basically high end apartments got bought out by a company that doesn't know how to run them and implemented so many rules, stipulations and fees makes living here miserable and dread seeing office staff. If I could I would give it NEGATIVE STARS.

My service request was never addressed! I have lived here since Aug 20, but none of the issues were of urgent need! I bought some light bulbs myself, and replaced them among other things!

It’s a very clean quiet place.... the pool can be a little extra with people that don’t live there but I don’t think that’s controllable.... I think it’s safe ... I accidentally left my car unlocked a few times and my car never been broken into so overall I love it here

The actual units are nice but are too expensive, lots of garbage on the ground, I can hear my neighbors have sex and the noise from the street is unbearable when trying to rest

Parking remains a problem as there are too many covered spots that are not utilized. Most do not want to pay additional fees to park. Common areas such as stairwells are dirty and need to be power washed.

The garbage pile by the dumpster gets out of control on weekends - and may or may not be picked up on Mondays. Residents don't seem to be following the nightly garbage rules - i.e. they leave their trash cans outside all day long, put garbage out really early in the afternoon, leave garbage by their doors on weekends when there is no pickup.
I love it here. What makes me iffy about recommending is the rent, the stairwells being dirty, and some of my neighbors hanging out in the stairwell talking on their phone or laying on the a/c units outside of the building and talking on their phone.
I have called several times to the front office and I get delayed calls back or not even a returned call. The maintenance workers are very kind but I am not sure if they have the supplies currently to fix the needs of the apartment complex. I have waited for a month for things to be painted and repaired and it has not happened yet. I loved the location and the look of this complex. The residents are working people, so I feel safe living here.

I wood like to know about the gate is not able to keep closed st all it was working and when I came it’s open again that why there people at the pool to me are not supost to be here .

I would not recommend at this time residing here at this time. The transition has not been seamless, paperwork with sensitive information has had to be resubmitted. Apparently, our documents were lost (not good) Residents pass through and all of sudden you see new people and not quite sure what is happening. With that said, good luck with trying to live where you're treated like bother rather than a resident. The welcomed feeling that we used to receive from the other management company was genuine. Now, it feels fake and forced.

The apartment started out great, everything worked well, and the space was a fair market value. Things began to change when all the dogs began moving in and barking throughout the night and all hours of the morning. The neighbors that lived across from me on the main floor (with a little back yard) completely trashed their little back yard. Their dogs scratched their door to no avail, the grass was dead, and they had all these grills and junk in the fenced in area. I know this is their personal space, but it was a big eye sore. One final thing I did not like was the mandator switching to the package delivery fee...I think that is crap. Also, I was very upset when the recycling bin was removed and my answer was "you can just go somewhere else to recycle"...not a good answer.

Definitely would recommend this apartment community because of the location, quality of the units, and the impeccable apartment staff. They have gone above and beyond to meet my needs and are so friendly and courteous. Also, the other residents are very friendly. Once I was trying to carry all of my groceries up in the infamous 'one trip' and another resident saw me kind of struggling and offered to help me get them to my unit!

I wouldn’t recommend due to the noisy neighbors. The noise level is equivalent to living next to a club and It has only gotten worse since I reported it to management.

I loved the apartment complex, from the people to the events to the apartment itself. The only problem I had was Mansfield itself didn't fit what I wanted to do (distance to entertainment), so I moved to another part of DFW that did fit that.

The management team and maintenance staff are clearly committed to the residents and providing a high level of service. They are always very responsive to my needs & concerns. They make an effort to build positive relationships with residents.

Amenities are great when actually available. Too many non residents in the pool, clubhouse is $300 to rent which is ridiculous!, pool tables not available for use when office staff isn?t in, often grills are out of gas and dirty, chairs by pool that are broken and dirty.

I would recommend this Apartment community because of the staff in the front office. They really make me feel comfortable and like they are here for me.

The painting prior to move-in was very unsatisfactory. It was only after beginning to move in, did I see just how bad it was. However, I would definitely recommend this place. The paint issue would not be something I would mention.
