The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Villages on McKnight
I just recently moved in and everything has been perfect. Not only is the location really awesome, the maintenance and management office are great. They are quick to respond to any issues and really helpful! Everything was VERY clean when I moved in and the facilities are also kept very clean. I really love it here!
The apartment unit itself was amazing. Upon move in day, everything was perfect. All stainless steel appliances, wood floor, newish carpet, and all completely and spotlessly cleaned. The management was whatever in person, but in the unit they gifted us a handwritten welcome card along with a bag of chocolates and a target gift card. We appreciated this greatly. So far I have amazing neighbors, and very few complaints. My biggest complaint is with the building door, as it is almost impossible to open with out keys. It literally takes like five minutes to unlock it. From our second story belcony (we barely hear neighbors above us and to the sides of us, but the hallways are kinda loud), I have a view of a nearby field and it looks great around sunset. The rent is extremely high, but I think it is extremely worth it. But more parking would be nice, as there is very little. Overall, I am very happy with my choice of apartment and I look forward to more years here.
I'm excited that i choose this building and the way it faces the entire village. The management keeps the building, outdoors maintained. Village on McKnight has everything a family need indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court, children playground, a beautiful club house with free wifi. I love the summer evening sitting on the balcony looking at the stars and often watching the airplanes going toward the port. It is a serene feeling. And the area is the best for fast food and restaurants, several grocery stores mall and the convients of anything you need.
Recently moved into Villages on McKnight and so far, so good! Jackie was my leasing agent and she is fantastic. Very personable and friendly, when my apartment didn't get the updates we had discussed before I moved in, she was very apologetic and made allowances by letting me have 3 accent walls painted for free around my apartment. She's very quick to respond to any concerns I have. My apartment itself is very nice. Large and spacious for a 2 bedroom, I can tell it is well taken care of and cleaned up before I moved in. It has some renovations and some original pieces but upgrades and updates are available if you want to pay a little more. I'm on the second floor and don't have much to complain about when it comes to noise from above, below or next door. The average, running water and occasional walking from the 3rd floor, otherwise its very quiet. You don't hear much walking through the halls either, coming from the inside of apartments. Location wise, its great. Less than 1/2 a mile away you have Cub Foods, Dollar store, various food and shopping. Also, the Holiday Inn is very close by if you have out of town guests who want a little privacy (or the in-laws who are a little less than welcome in your home). So far, I recommend this place as a great home!
I Am very happy with my stay in mc knight road. And enjoying my stay.people are very supportive n management team is very helpful.whenever we ask for any repair work they immediate respond us & try to complete work asap. We have never experience delay in work to be done.i would definately recommend other people for this property.mc knight village has fullfilled all my wishes to have a wonderful home to live in.initially i was not sure that whether i liked here or not because we have heard that the property construction is quite old. But once we moved in i started liking it. All the credit goes to managemenr team for the way they maintained whole premises. Nobody can say in how old construction you are leaving.so overall i wil give 10 /10 for this property.i love to be in here mc knight village.
The staff are very friendly when we moved in. They were very knowledgeable about different things with the apartment and surrounding areas. They also left us a thank you note and a care package with several items and a gift card when we moved in.
Nice apartment. places to put your things. nice big bed room . nice pool . Friendly staff. Maint. is prompt. Not all bad .has a nice elevator . I enjoy being here. Kitchen and bath were not updated. price is too high.
McKnight Village stood out when I was apartment searching. Their parking lot was clean, the balconies looked like their renters took pride, and I booked a viewing. Because they have model apartments set up, you can go on short notice. They have options: a renovated one bedroom, a renovated two bedroom, or a 1-2 bedroom in original styles. The one bedroom renovated apartment was accurate in portraying the unit I ended up renting. Rent ranges from $850 to ~$1200, which is a good deal for a safe (doors locked, buzzer equipped, decent area) spacious apartment in Saint Paul. If you're a dog owner, there's that option as well. One biggie: free parking in the lots, and enough parking for guests. They have a lot of amenities, some I rarely use (a tennis court, grills, a small gym) and a few I do (indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, sauna, women's changing room for pools). In the one bedroom, I found that it's spacious enough to leave some room even with my king-size bed, a double-width dresser, a sitting chair and two bedside tables in there. The closet in my bedroom is decent walk-in size, there are two other closets in the hallway of the apartment, and they give you an unattached storage closet on the floor of your apartment. The kitchen and living room are great. The living room is about 14x15. The kitchen isn't as big, but there's a decent amount of cabinet space and the renovated unit I live in has new appliances. The rental company has enough staff on location that every minor maintenance problem I've ever had has been resolved within a day. The main office is staffed for extended business hours and the people there are polite and professional. The proximity to 3M was the deal maker for me. But incidentally, McKnight Village is in walking distance of Battle Creek Park (which features a kid's water park, a dog park, and trails that connect to the ones in Saint Paul). Additionally, it's within a stone's throw of major interchanges (494, 694, 94-E, 94-W) and four types of grocery store. I have two minor gripes about McKnight Village. Garages are rentable for $100/mo, which isn't great. And the bathroom in my one bedroom is small enough that there's not enough room to have a bathroom scale on the floor.
It seams to be a keeper. I like there very large pool. Buildings look nice . Nice grounds . nice large belconey. Not much noise. Friendly nabors and nice comunity. The staff made some improvements. Mcnight apts, have every amenity you can think of. Pools, saunas workout room. Rent is reasonable, and all the staff are very helpful.
My apartment is open style with character; large living room with balcony which allows moderate sunlight. The kitchen and bath has all the modern fixtures, the bedroom is very large with a nice walk in closet. Also, several closets moderately placed in the hall which allures a charm of home.
I moved to the villages on McKnight last Septermber and I've loved living here since. Winters are always warm since the heat is included as well as te water, so on a cold winter day you can come home and warm right up. Summertime is really great too. There are two pools, an indoor and outdoor, an on a hot summer day there's nothing like a cool dip. There is gym equipment available to use, and across the street is a park with lots of running trails. Apartments are big and in great condition, they really take care of their buildings. Very safe and clean and I couldn't be happier.
I loved this apartment for 4 years. New management has taken over and has made many false promises. This is still a nice place to live but in 4 years my rent has skyrocketed 200 since initial lease.
Has nice rugs. bathroom is below standard . kitchen need updates apiances are beat up looking it is o.k. but they should have looked it over and did updates and better quality . Still like it they could have done better . Walls did not appear to be all painted dust on wood work dirty cabinet fronts . old sink should have been updated to newer fixture set. stove top poor condition. Grounds look verry nice . Has nice club house with all nice pool and exercise rm amenities are very nice . Has nice elevator . Poor washing and laundary facility. Washers are bad need of new . B linds are very nice but they didnt dust or clean them. Buildings look nice. not as expected. Staff is nice. Are sometimes noisy but it is all in how you look at. people are nice so you do have nice negibors . all in how you see it. the secret is like your negibors and it is a verry nice enjoyable comunity. a building is what you make of it.buildings are big. lots look nice and mainatined. bugget friendly . not all that bad happy to be here would recomend.
Hard to say yet . Look forward to trying it. It is nice and big . They are supposed to be very nice . They have nice amenities and staff seems to be o.k. excited to move in I hope its the best or close to the best . Hope they let me enjoy it to its fullest and keep me at a affordable rate so saving money can be achieved and at the same time have a nice sharp apt. that is quiet and enjoyable.
It is one of the best apartments and it has got all the amenities. The staff are friendly and they support us when are in need of help. It has got many shopping centres nearby and a battle creek park. It is really cost effective when compared to other apts and it has got everything.
