I've been a resident at Via Apts., for 16,yrs. I have no reason to not stay living here, ever. When there are problems, there always addressed quickly. The staff are great people. Always friendly, concerned and caring.

Staff is amazing, especially Dustin. The communication with the staff is good. I call and leave a message and within a few hours my calls are being returned. I read the reviews, but just like everything you cant judge a book by its cover You have to see it for yourself. My friends and family that i have invited to our apartment were astonished by the inside layout and stated it was definitely not what they expected (it was a good, compliment). We enjoy the spacious living room and all the storage options in the kitchen, dining room and entry way. We cant hear the traffic on Montgomery and our neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves. There is a playground close by that my kids enjoy.

Terrible place to live, management alone should deter you from living here. We are moving this month and we still have unresolved maintenance issues from when we moved in 2020. The roaches are in every building and you can ask to be sprayed but it will take 6 months. Don’t live here unless you want freezing water for months.

The community is pretty quiet. The walls are extremely thin. I can hear all of my neighbors conversations and I can hear all the movements the upstairs neighbor makes. The buildings smell like smoke and weed. Amenities are in poor condition or broken. A lot of roaches in the unit. Maintenance performs cheap fixes instead of actually fixing the problem. Very lazy fixes and sloppy work. They leave messes and do not clean up after themselves. Paint job in our unit was extremely sloppy, I am still cleaning up paint. Overall I just wish the staff was much more transparent. The place is livable but it took a lot of our own hours of work to make it livable.

I am not a satisfied resident. The attitude of the office staff toward residents is usually one of superiority and condescension. I would have moved at the end of my lease, but there were no available apartments in the city so I signed a new lease in order to have a roof over my head. I don't feel safe due to the amount of crazy behaviors that I observe, the lack of respect of many of the residents for other residents. A lot of money has been spent to make the common areas of the property look like a nice place to live, but not one dollar has been spent on my space in more than 3 years of living here. No positive comments to offer.

Awful. Moved in to a mess. Office staff is rude and unhelpful. They alwsys sound angry when I talk to them. My apartment needed several repairs on day of move in and I was told they would be fixed in a week and no one has come to fix anything and it's been 3 weeks.

Worst apartments imaginable

If I could rate zero stars, I absolutely would. The apartments are trash. The walls are halfway painted, yet, they got paint literally everywhere else (even the shower walls are painted and they didn't even bother cleaning off the hair from the walls before painting them, so the paint peels). They previously let the tenants smoke inside so there's painted-over tar stuck on the walls in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The dust in the air vents? Painted over as well. There's huge gaps around the front door that let in all the outside air and bugs (there's so many bugs here as well), and let's out all the inside air so that you can't keep it cold or warm without running the air conditioner or heater all day and night. There's also what appears to be black mold in the bathrooms and kitchen walls/ceilings. The appliances are the cheapest possible, dirty, and broken. You have to fight with management for literal months to get ANYTHING replaced. There's dog poop and trash literally everywhere outside that they never address. They'll impose walkthroughs in all units and then never even contact you back with the results (I'm assuming mainly because they'd have to acknowledge all the repairs requested). The leasing office is always closed at random times every single day, and they never answer the phone. If they want to increase rent or impose random fees on the community, they place notices on the doors Friday afternoon and take off for the weekend so nobody can question or argue. They constantly do work on the outside appearance of the complex to increase the percepted value of the units while doing absolutely nothing about the units themselves. Like adding expensive furniture to the pool area that's never been open as long as I've lived here (literally over a year, the water is green and smells like sewage) or giving the complex a new paint job where again, they got paint everywhere, or when they had a company paint the asphalt of the parking lot black (never actually laid down new asphalt or repaired any of the cracks, and after a month the "new asphalt" look had already dulled back to its original state), or adding fencing around everyone's patios which significantly decreased everyone's outdoor space. And of course, had to make sure the leasing office was remodeled, while again, everyone else's repairs were being delayed or ignored entirely. This is just scratching the surface of how many problems there are here.

Broken windows in the hallway since October of last year, homeless people smoking meth in the halls of all the buildings, request for my refrigerator to be replaced for a month and a half, yet there was money to literally remove the hot tub from the pool area and pull it out of the ground. Meanwhile, about 10-12 ducks live in the pool at Jefferson Crossing and the water is green. Maintenance here basically doesn’t exist and the money for necessities is spent on carpets for the hallways and purple furniture at the pool. Half the washing machines in the laundry room are broken also.

Overall, it’s a decent place to live so far. Been here a month and haven’t had any issues arise. Only one bug but we notified the office and we sprayed as well. No noise complaints yet either. Hopefully never. Such a nice floor plan for the price as well.

It's a great place to live if you don't mind the bugs in your teeth. Great staff, and a thriving community. Convenient bus stop in front of complex. And access to grocery stores, gas stations and other amenities within walking distance.
