Wish I could give them less than 1. The apartment is old, need new maintenance every week and worst part is when you call them for maintenance they take more than a week to fix it. They never open their pool, its almost end of the summer and they’re still fixing it or whatever. They opened indoor once and closed that too. When you live here, be ready for the excuses they make. Been 10 months, they’ve never done pest control. Deciding to live in this apartment is the decision I regret the most. Few employees are rude when you ask them about maintenance or any other general question. But most importantly, its been really hard to live here.
RATS RATS RATS EVERYWHERE!!! Yep that's the title for this review. So I'll give you a run down of why you should avoid these apartments if you can. A few months ago I noticed every time I would turn my air on or start up my shower I would hear a banging noise from inside my walls. I simply assumed these were either my neighbors showering at the same time as me or just some old pipes since the buildings are quite old. Boy was I completely WRONG. Fast forward to last week which was 9/12/2023. I noticed some bread I had bought that was on top of my fridge had been moved from the front of my fridge to the very back corner of my fridge. Yet I still paid this no mind. The next few days I would hear my cereal boxes on top of the fridge shake all through the night. Once again I assumed that it was the air from the vents shaking the boxes since they were half eaten and wouldn't take much to blow over these boxes. On 9/15/2023 I walked in the kitchen to make me a sandwich and that's when I noticed my bread had a huge hole in the bag and majority of the bread had been eaten by some type of rodent. I called the office about this problem the exact same day and they told me there wasn't any room on the schedule for pest control but if they could squeeze me in they would. Today is 9/18/2023 2:32 am exactly. I'm sitting in my living room watching tv with the lights off in the kitchen. All of a sudden I hear cereal boxes moving once again. I turn around and I could see little rats coming from behind my fridge swinging from cabinets. I quickly turn the lights on and they scatter behind the fridge. I knock over the cereal boxes off the fridge only to hear a rat eating my cereal and moving frantically throughout the box. I can literally hear them crawling through my walls now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND moving here. Maintenance and pest control don't do their jobs. The property isn't being kept up. The valet trash people never pick up your trash in time which could be the reason for the rats. Save your money and time and please look elsewhere. I am no longer at peace in my own apartment knowing that I have to worry about a rat invading my space while I'm cooking or falling into my milk when I pour my cereal.
Desperately needs new mgmt/ownership. Consider this a place with no amenities. I live here now. No one cleans the property, both pools are closed, gym has half that equipment, there's no firepit or anything else, and maintenance is horrible. The valet trash doesn't even pick up trash. Save yourself time/money and go elsewhere.
The AC units are old, not to mention that the buildings are too, so the AC will not cool it down in the summer no matter what- even after maintenance services the AC unit! I have talked to several neighbors, and this is an issue in every unit, and leads to insane electric bills. Also, the gate works but isn’t on because people apparently don’t know how to use their key fobs- that is what I was told. If we are paying for the gate amenity we should be able to use it. Also, sprinklers don’t work in many areas. Grass will look like hay in the summer, and get dusty. Look somewhere else. Staff is nice, but that’s the only thing good about this place.
I’ve been living here 2 years no big issues until today. I walked outside this morning to get in my car and noticed it wasn’t in the parking lot. I didn’t think anyone stole it because there’s nicer cars in the parking lot than mine. I tried to log on my parking app and it said I had to be a resident. So I knew it must’ve been accidentally towed. I go to the leasing office and explain to them the issue and that I’ve been here two years with no problem and they ask me if I maybe accidentally deleted my vehicle or if I even registered it on the app. I told them, I’ve been here two years of course my car is registered and I’m smart enough to not delete it. After 10 mins of them trying to figure out what happened they told me it was accidentally deleted by one of the workers there on March 18. Someone was supposed to delete another resident out of the system but they accidentally deleted me. Thankfully the did get in contact with the towing company so I didn’t have to pay to get it out but they offered no other compensation beyond that for their mistake. So now I have to take off work AGAIN, to go to my doctors appointment that I had to reschedule a week later, I had to spend money on a Lyft to go pick up my car in Fort Worth, and the time that I wasted dealing with their mistake and they can’t even give at least $50 off next months rent. Sorry but my time is valuable and they could’ve done more for the inconvenience, after all it was their mistake.
The front gate doesn’t work & they won’t tell you this before you sign the lease. The fitness center is never locked, homeless people walk into the complex and leave trash around. The community laundry room is filthy. You won’t receive most of your packages here they’ll either be lost from the office misplacing them or stolen. The office staff is incredibly lazy & have no idea what they’re doing.
I had such a pleasant experience. Rafael made me feel at home the moment I step in the office no wonder why he’s the first smiling face you see.. honestly the whole staff is awesome!! Ms Keisha as well.. Just move here !! ( laughing but very serious)

Firstly, the Verandahs is a great place to live from the amenities to the view, but the 5 stars is because of the leasing agents. Rafael is, by far, the most helpful and professional leasing agent I’ve ever met. Moving from San Antonio to Arlington was hectic in itself, but after getting help from Rafael, it was smooth. I couldn’t recommend him more.

I had a great experience here getting an apartment. Rafael was great. He was very helpful in every aspect of our process of getting this apartment. We were struggling to find one that had available rooms and that allowed 3 Labrador retrievers. They were able to work it out with me since one of my dogs was a service animal for me.

I have lived at the Verandahs at Cliffside for 2 years and have recently renewed my lease for another year. The Management Staff is efficient and prompt with any concerns. Keisha is always ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have with a warm and friendly smile. The Maintenance Team is very proficient. The grounds are neatly groomed several times a day. When it comes to Work Order Repairs, the team is quickly to respond with a warm smile and professional mannerism. Living here put me in the heart of many Great Attractions and easy access to many freeways.

I had a great experience moving into Verandahs. The application experience was quick (literally all done online)and a breath of fresh air compared to the experience I had with another nearby complex. Keshia and Raven were very nice and made me feel like my daughter and I would be welcome living here. The community is super dog friendly and clean. I will say that there was some miscommunication when I moved in but I believe that was due to me moving in on a Saturday afternoon and the leasing office was closed and I wasn't able to register my car with the parking app they use. But luckily my car wasn't ticketed or towed and I was able to get my car registered once the leasing office opened.

I have been living here for the past two years and never had a problem until recently. I had to move to be closer to work and I put my notice 60 days in advance. Turns out whoever I spoke to on the phone did not write anything down and no one in the office was aware about me turning in my notice. I spoke to Stephanie Jimenez and told her exactly what happened. She apologized for the miscommunication and handled the situation. The management here is able to admit their mistakes and do whatever they can to make their residents happy. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

This is my second time moving apartments so I don’t have much experience but these people make it so fun and easy to do! Keisha is amazing and makes you feel like you’re best friends while professionally answering any questions you may have about the property. Not to mention they love animals! Apartments look great and are well taken care of, I definitely recommend living here!
Management here really takes care of you. Maintenance repairs happen same day. Lovely pool and great staff. Stephanie (assistant manager) took care of me like family from the time I signed my lease to when I moved out. She was always kind and so was the staff in the office. Most places get you to sign then they become less nice but not here. You will always be treated great here. Thanks! Nic
I moved here from out of state and Keisha couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. She made the entire process so effortless and exciting. Love the new place. Exactly what i needed and it looked just like the photos!
My move in date was 9-29. The apartment was not ready. I am transferring from Tennessee. Stayed in a hotel until 10-2-19, then went back to Tennessee, to avoid more hotel bills. Now as I'm trying to check if there are still bugs and if it has been fumigated, like promised. I have been leaving messages since Monday (10-7-19), with no response. Now , I have to drive all the way to Texas to find out if it's now livable for me. My issue is the roaches! I'm not talking a few. These are clusters of them. I cannot live in a place where these are running around. I thought management would at least keeping touch, like they stated, before I left
The staff here always resolve any issues I may have had. Stephanie is always very helpful and kind. The leasing staff always makes me feel welcome! Highly recommend this property!

We’ve lived in these apartments for one year and it will most definitely be our only years. We have constant pest problems even though we pay for pest control, trash valets broke our trash can and won’t pick up your trash if it’s even remotely heavy. Our air conditioning system has broken 6 times in the last 9 months, 4 times in the summer and twice since it’s been cold. Our neighbors have absolutely no sense of their surroundings and walk with bowling balls strapped to their feet and smoke so much marijuana that it leaks into our vents. We’ve complained multiple times but management does nothing. Over the wet portion of the winter months we found that our apartment was growing black mold because of a problem that maintenance should have handled, luckily we caught it, but the only reason something was done about the mold was because I took my infant son who had been unexplainably sick for 2 weeks straight to the office and sat in the lobby until someone fixed my problem. They cut my wall open and left black mold exposed for 3 days. When they came and finally fixed the walls they used the same material that they had cut away. We requested they put us in a hotel for the time being until they could fix the wall but they said they wouldn’t be able to do that since they responded to our request. We asked them to move us into a different apartment but they said they couldn’t do that with our a $500 transfer fee. We asked to break our lease and again they said we wouldn’t be eligible because they responded to our call. This place looks nice on the outside and the pictures but I can guarantee that this will be one of the worst places you’ve ever lived. Do not even consider it.

This apartment complex is awesome! I love all that it offers and how many floor plans as well. The staff is amazing when I first toured I toured with Julie and she had by far been the best person to ever help me out at any complex. She’s so warm and welcoming, bubbly and bright! She really made a difference is sealing the deal! This complex is also very beautiful, I love the dog park for my two pups and the gym and indoor pool rock! This is by far the best complex I’ve lived in!
The amenities here are great. The pool is relaxing and clean. The staff is great. I enjoy the location, as it is close to everything. The Kroger across the street is very convenient. There are a lot of trees which makes this place feel more secluded, especially if you get an apartment that has a balcony that over looks a wooded area. The views from the property are amazing.
I would recommend this property because all the amenities and personnel staff are top notch .
There I are several more things to be done. Replace floor tiles and straighten the tracks for the sliding door. Otherwise the door job was perfect.

There are plenty of amenities for everyone. The layout of the apartment complex is really nice and somewhat private.
Great location, well designed floor plans and complex layout, good scenery, overall nice amenities, and I'm sure the updated units look great. Poor maintenance staff and high management turnover.
The one bedroom, one bath apartment was a little small for the price. I have not necessarily ruled this community out because I really like the area, but the apartment is a bit smaller than what I desire.

This is the second year in a row the AC in the unit above #3015 has leaked into my apartment. Each time I must dry out the HVAC area for several days to attempt to avoid mold.
I would recommend this apartment complex because it is very peaceful, clean and the office staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything that you need.
Maintainence is competent and knows what they're doing but isn't in any hurry to get the job done.
Office staff is very friendly and the amenities that come along with the apt are very nice.

I would recommend these apartments to family and friends. They have a great staff and the apartments in general r great, with a family friendly environment.
If it was by the maintenance sept only I would rave on the apartments. But the office customer service ruins that. Along with parking.
I would recommend because the location is very central for many places in the metroplex. Maintenance has been very quick to resolve issues for me.
I love how quiet the community at large is. I feel safe walking around at night. My neighbors are relatively respectful and clean. I would not recommend though, based on the maintenance of the apartments. These apartments have been recently rennovated, so I should not have had a many maintenance issues that I did. On top of that, the issues were not handled properly. As I write this review, I sent in a maintenance request on Thursday Evening for a Urgent and recurring HVAC issue. I have had no response to the issue as of Tuesday evening.
It is generally quiet, though my old upstairs neighbor and her dog liked to stomp around the apartment at 1 or 2am most nights. That isn't your fault though. The complex is pretty clean and I feel safe there. The size of the apartment for the money is a little much, but that is rent these days.
